  • In this video, I will share another Korean convenient store food, triangle Kimbap. I already posted 3 different kinds before: kimchi tuna, tuna mayo, and stir-fried pork. This time, I will make one with spicy tuna called "GoChu ChamChi SamGak GimBap (고추 참치 삼각김밥) in Korean (Try to say that 3 times fast 🤣) The pleasantly spicy tuna, along with fresh perilla leaves makes a delicious filling. I am glad to share a tasty recipe using perilla leaves that I harvested from our garden

    3. The rice in the Triangle Kimbap becomes hard if you keep it in the refrigerator, so I recommend you to eat it fresh.

    Great vid- will make this for my college son when he comes down next time. I see Bryce just devour it- I love it how he can eat and love Korean food .. my oldest always did but my youngest who is a junior in HS doesn’t eat that much Korean or spicy food. I am moving myself some time in early to mid December when home is finished being built. I am looking forward to try actually cooking more new dishes in my new kitchen! I am sorry to hear about animals messing up your garden. I would like to see your care for the garden. I plan on having a small garden- perilla leaves for sure. Thanks for always sharing wonderful recipes and letting us be part of your family! ❤️🥰😍

      Yes, perilla leaves are healthy and tasty... :) Try to grow it by yourself someday. Thanks for greeting to Bryson and Rosie. Logan is here... hehe recently he got hurt his lip (inside and out.. he can not remember exactly..but he must bump somewhere or he bite while he was eating..) so.... he had trouble to eat food.. that's why he couldn't record taste testing even though he wanted.....it is healed now..and maybe.. some other time... he can be in the video.. Thanks for remembering Logan. :)

Logan got hurt his lips and had problem to eat food (not that serious..but uncomfortable to eat..).. so he said.. he wants to do taste tester when his lips are healed.. now it's healed.. so maybe.. if he wants to do it again..       Yep... I need to find the clip... later.. one day..actually she bite me.. but I can see.. it was not biting !! biting ... it was more like.. she was checking if I'm a safe thing to be around....gentle bite.. lol it was kind of cute to see..she does that.. I almost felt like.. I passed her test to be a friend or family.. lol or maybe she smelled.. kimchi or garlic from my thumb..and later she tried to eat it.. who knows.. haha I'm kidding.. I searched and learnt that chippmunks hate garlic smell... so I wash my hands extra well before I meet her.. if I touched garlic .. onion.. or that family..which I use a lot ~~~ for my cooking..     I love your videos and recipes. I never thought about growing my own perilla. I can never find them in stores. Where do you get your seeds/seedlings?

      Hi Nina, if you love Korean food.. especially made with perilla leaves.. I highly recommend you plant your own.. it is one of the Korean veggies you can grow easily (it can be depends on where you live though.. mostly.. it is pretty easy..)..and it is a lot cheaper than buying perilla leaves from a Korean store.. (they are not cheap..) of course, it can be healthier too. Anyway.. you can find seeds online or Korean grocery store. If you sell Korean seeds near future, will you be interested in buying them from us? 😉 For now, you can search.. amazon.. or Etsy for Korean seeds..

      영상 올리는데.. 제이슨이 나보고.. 또 참치 삼각김밥이냐고.. ㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎ 그러게 하다보니..이제껏 올린게 참치만 세가지네.. ^^;; 그래도 뭐 다 다른맛이고 각자 맛있으니... ㅎㅎㅎㅎ 언니도 삼각김밥 올려주세용.. ㅎㅎㅎ 언니가 젤 좋아하는 맛 궁금 궁금..근처에 사는 한국 언니네 밭에서 얻어온 귀한 깻잎... 올해는 깻잎 농사는 틀렸네.. 했는데.. 감사하게도 생겼구만.. 근데.. 깻잎이 종류가 여러개라... 한국의 녹색 깻잎이 아니라.. 내껀.. 좀 뒷면이 보랏빛이 나.. 맛은 거의 똑같은데.. 식감이 쫌 다른듯.. 내년엔 녹색 깻잎도 심어야지 하고 있넹... 나도 첨엔 sesame leaves라고 불렀다우.. 저 모기 상처는... 극히 일부분이라우... 여자손 .. 팔.. 다리가 아니여.. ㅎㅎㅎ 험해 험해 ~~~~ 언니 다음 영상도 기대할게.. 늘 동기부여가 되주고... 댓글 남겨주고 고마워 ^^ 잘자 언니 ~~~ 💕

      @@aeriskitchen 제이슨이 삼각김밥에 얼마나 종류가 많은지 모르는구먼 ㅋㅋ 삼각김밥시리즈로 만들어 ^^ 나 옛날에 일본서 공부할 때 한국에는 삼각김밥이란게 없었거든..그때 일본 삼각김밥보면서 이거 김치볶음이나 불고기 제육볶음넣어서 한국편의점에서 팔면 대박나겠다며 생각했었어..역시 성공하는 사람들은 생각만으로 끝나면 안되는건가봐 😂 삼각김밥만 보면 그생각나더라..성공은 아무나 하는게 아니라고 ㅎㅎ 난 지난주 아침에 도시락만 촬영하고 김밥8가지 촬영했는데 편집시간이 없어서 그냥 짧은동영상 하나만 올렸어..김밥8가지는 하지 말았어야했나봐 너무 힘들어서 중간에 레시피 바꿔가며 했네 😂 튀길거 안튀기고 넣을거 안넣고 ㅋㅋ 자고있겠군..일주일도 화이팅하고 🤗🥰😍

      Hi Julia, :) I know ~~~ there are some of my UA-cam friends who I also want to live closer..and you are definately No 1 of them... I will send you personal message to answer your question. ;) Sadly, we got more animal attack for our garden..and it ate all of our sweet corns and.. whenever we get one tomato ready to harvest, it is eating it... lol and I finally found out who did it.. it is gray squirrel. He or she literally destroyed and ate all our corns.. @,@ the squirrels are eating all our peaches too. I need to study how to prevent that happen... anyway.. Have a great week.

    Silly question...you assembled with seaweed waxy paper still on. When does it get peeled off?

      Oh.. no it's not a silly question... this can be very new to some people like you... Whenever you eat.. you peel the plastic wrapper... then.. pull it out... then.. only rice and seaweed will be left to eat... My son showed how to unwrap the plastic and eat the Triangle Kimbap in the beginning of this video... :) if you missed it..you can watch it only that part again. Thank you.

      Aha.. the perilla leaves ?? if you don't have you can use green onion.. or garlic chives instead.. :) Perilla leaves has own good leafy flavor (some people say.. minty.. I'm not sure about that though..) to add to the dish.. if you can, try perilla leaves someday. :) Thanks

      Yes, we are lucky to have this garden and yard. (Although it is a temporary house.) Oh no ~~~ 😭 I know that feeling.. We were doing really great for our garden last year..then one time storm literally destroyed our beautiful garden. Cheer up, James.. next time will be better. 🤗 Thanks for your comment.

      I will stay a subscriber, Aeri, to support you, but I find it a shame that you are listening to the vocal minority, rather than realizing that the super-star UA-camrs don't use music, or they use very neutral, barely-there music for only the intro or outro. Further, when I read through the comments when you asked about music, I saw a lot of "It's your channel - do what you want." And that is NOT the same as "I like music." See, the music you or any UA-camr uses is what is appealing to your ear, and not to everyone's ear. And therein lies the issue. :-)
      Also, the music is loud enough to be distracting, and if one mutes the sound, then one loses out on the commentary of the recipe instructions. Anyway, as others have said, it's your channel - do as you like. But I was rooting for you to become a super-star UA-camr, so I tried to help by explaining how personally-appealing music is not the way to go, and to use music very cautiously, or not at all.
      Anyway, like I said, I'll stay a subscriber, but I cannot stand the annoying music, and find both the volume and genre to absolutely ruin the video for me.
      (Most people won't say anything - but true friends will, and will tell you the truth. All the best to you and your family. And your garden looks incredible, and I am very jealous. Heh heh.. )
