Nice to meet you Maagchi! I'm Japanese, but I've been interested in Korean food for more than 10 years, and I've tried many Korean dishes based on your videos! Now we have a large amount of kimchi in stock. Yesterday I made tteokbokki from rice flour for the first time in a while, and this morning I made kimchi seaweed soup. Nowadays, I can't feel good unless I eat Korean food every day. Today's video is the Korean version of Japanese rice balls! I'm sure there are many types of Korean rice balls, but I would like to imitate the ingredients in today's video and make them ;) Thank you Maangchi ;)

I am also Japanese-American, and I have been following and enjoying Maangchi Seonsaeng-nim's recipes since I was a college student (especially soup and stew dishes like doenjang jjigae). I'm interested to try the Korean style Samgak kimbab. @Maangchi Seonsaeng-nim, thank you for teaching us! :)
I grew up eating at the homes of Korean friends, but never was taught to cook myself. Thank you for giving me the confidence to try so many Korean recipes! You make everything so clear and easy and your dishes always come out on the first try!

I have your first cookbook and have been watching you since you first came on to YT. My mom always cooked but she would never tell me how to cook things, I had to watch her to learn. Unfortunately she passed away and since she never made her own cookbook, you’ve been my savior for learning how to cook all her dishes she used to make. Thank you number 2 umma!

Wow! Maangchi does not skimp on filling. Nothing is sadder than getting a tiny bit of filling in the CU samgak Kimbaps. I can't wait to make that Kimchi filling. I never saw it before.
Here where i live gimbap and Sushi is super expensive so Last year i started to make it myself. It's so easy and tasty. Will try Out this recipe the next time.
Many times samgak gimbap saved me from a hunger crash, when quickly purchased and consumed at a convenience store... It is salvation in a triangle 🔺️ One of the *best* snacks
When I was in Seoul last year, I used to stop by corner stores and buy a 삼각김밥 everytime I was hungry. This recipe brought back many wonderful memories of my trip to Korea and It made me cry a little. Thank you very much Mrs. Maangchi for sharing food culture with us! Much love from Italy!

As half Japanese myself, I’m very interested trying out making Samgak Gimbap! I already like Japanese rice balls “onigiri” as well as Kimchi, so I’m sure I’ll like this one too!
Thanks to your video, I learned that there are plastic wrapped seaweed specifically made for this nowadays. This video convinced me getting a mould. It looks so much convenient to make it with mould than doing all by hand.

I make this with 돌자반무침 and lot of sesame seeds mixed in. It tastes amazing and it's a quick pickup snack that hits the spot without feeling full.

This used to be one of my favorite snacks while living in South Korea. I haven't seen them in South Africa. So I have to make them myself. I love your channel Maangchi. ❤️
I watched your original Samgak Gimbap video many years ago, and I have made my own version of it all through uni. Sometimes I skip the kim and just put the tuna filling on top of rice with a lot of vegetables, and it is a very quick and delicious meal

Hi maangchi! I've been a fan for a while now. I always have kimchi in the house now, my favorite dinner is white rice with Kim chi and an egg. 😊 I love watching your shows when I'm not feeling well. I struggle with mental illness and ptsd, and sometimes it hard to get out of my head. I love you so much, you always remind me that even the world can be cruel, there's always yummy food you can cook and eat ❤️🔥❤️🍳🥘🍚
