This is the guy that intrigues me most. I think he's going to be a heck of a player.
When quizzed about the time frame in which fans can expect the Spurs to be in the championship conversation again, Ginobili provided a cautiously optimistic outlook.
“It’s challenging to pinpoint exactly,” Ginobili stated, referencing the team’s prospects. “However, we’re hopeful and confident that with Victor (Wembanyama) coming in and our position in this upcoming draft, securing two top tens, we’re looking at a two-to-three-year timeline to be significantly competitive. I’m not saying we’ll be the outright favorites, but expect us to be in the playoffs and performing strongly.”
Wish my Pels would move up and draft him. He is a starter in the League. Has exactly what u want in a PG- lead guard. His playmaking will get better with better talent.

Why do you prefer him over topic?
If we’re being honest, Topic doesn’t really “excel” at anything outside of playmaking. He’s a good linear athlete but it’s nothing you can’t find in other prospects. His potential, mainly based off his age, and him playing euro ball are what carries him.
@lilolittle3131 topic is a great in the pick and roll, he is good at getting to the rim, and finishing or collapsing the defense to facilitate and get the team involved. He also shot 87% at the ft line meaning he has touch and can get better from the 3pt. I also think he can get better in the mid range just from some clips I've seen. On top of his elite passing. He is also one of the youngest in the draft and has so much room to grow. He has top 2-3 ceiling in this draft for sure.
He can defend and shoot the 3. And he doesn't have injury concerns.
None of those things are true of Topic.
Edit: He's also substantially more athletic than Topic. Topic is probably a below average to (maybe) league average athlete. Carter is certainly well above average.
@colin1818 but he doesn't have the offensive upside or playmaking ability and he is also older. He is also much bigger which means in the right scheme his defensive issues can be hidden similar to how thr mavs are doing with luka currently. I think devin is cool but when it comes to upside it isn't close between the 2 players.
@@bennwokeleme7217 we’re saying the same thing basically. Most of the stuff you listed is considered playmaking. We can talk about “upside” but the reality is it’s easier to turn a 37% shooter to a 40% shooter than it is to turn one that’s in the low 30s to get to a 37%.
Luka is a generational talent and is much larger weight wise than topic will probably ever be. Tbh I don’t see much similarity in their games at all outside of the passing and I’ll still give that to Luka at that age.
He’s gonna be a solid player, don’t get me wrong, but if he were 2 years older we wouldn’t be this optimistic
