I’m not sure this is a secret, but my favourite part of the citadel dlc is when Shepard fights his clone he says “Conrad Verner is better at being me than you” cracks me up
With regards to the first secret, a Xenomorph looking alien is dropped on a planet to be hunted by another species. Sounds kinda like a Predator was on the hunt…
“His mother on a ship, his father in their homeland. Guess the kid grew up lonely… or not.” -dialogue during a dragon age game referencing jona’s parents and his own possible end, depending on shepards actions
Wait what ? Both of jona's parents die no matter what and I don't think we ever meet jona in person so how can shepard's action have any affect on him ? Or is this refering to the Quarian-Geth choice where you can outright kill the entire Quarian race ?
Fun addition to #9, if you have the hamster but not the fish, Shepard comments about the clone messing things up in the cabin. Nice touch for those who didn't want to have fish
I love how everyone calls that a husk head... it's actually the same texture as a Cerberus troopers head if you look closely when they remove that dudes helmet.
Even though some of these secrets are mere lore on planets or background stories, it's so interesting to see how much detail they put into this mass universe of my favorite trilogy. I've played through Mass Effect four times now and a lot of these I've overlooked. Thank you for taking the time to show me more reasons to love this game series :D
Purely speculation but klencorys “beings of light” may have been a prothean or older VI pointing him to an abandoned base or colony, deeper than he dug
Tali also reference Baldurs Gate when she orders her drone to "Go for the optics, Chatika! Go for the optics!" and "Nothing's faster than Chatika vas Paus!"
I think the skull is meant to be a Kakliosaur, a side quest in ME3 that you help a Salarian on the citadel with. The Krogan use them as mounts during the reaper war. I like to think that's what it was! I wish we could have seen that. The Husk head is brilliant! My Shepard romanced Kaidan and I can imaging it screaming at them every time they walk into Johns quarters! With Kaidan eventually showing it in a drawer or something!
You can see what a Kakliosaur looks like when your on Tchunka in ME3. There are ancient paintings on the wall of the underground area when you first hear the giant threser maw kalros. One of the paintings depicts Krogan riding mounts.
At the time of Mass Effect 3's events occur Wrex states that the Korgan Rebellions happened 1,476 years ago. Drax in Andromeda is well over 1,400 years old as he states that he fought in the Rebellions.
If I remember right the skull is a left over from when you were supposed to be able to fight the Harvesters pre-husk/reaper form like you can with the thresher maws. You also were initially going to do it in ME2 as well but both were cut saving them for ME3
Always amazing to see you release a new video! Wondering if Merhrkuri and Pressha and the deliberately wrong codex could be a reference/ easter egg to Freddy Mercury and the famous Queen song "Under Pressure"?
Why would translators be limited to speech? Let's not forget that if translators are being used, they're also shaping the individual's perception of the speaker's mouth, making it conform to the translated language, almost like a Zoom filter. In just a few years there will be improvements for Zoom-like apps which will auto-translate speech on-the-fly, and also apply a video filter to do exactly what I just described above. Additionally, today we have apps which will use OCR and translation tools so that you can just point your phone camera at text in another language and the translation will appear on your screen. Why would Liara's diploma be any different? The translation VI would just activate a filter and put the translated text in the appropriate places.
Thank you for this, it's Monday but it's a long weekend here in Canada & feels like a Sunday, appreciate this Also: the planets in Mass Effect have so much untapped potential for new stories in the future. It's unreal
I like that someone is talking more about the various planets in the games as a lot have interesting reads even fascinating places to just chill and explore. Though space hamster is a must, no one messes with the hamster.
That dialogue on the Citadel DLC about finding your hamster is genuinely part of the reason I recently replayed this series. I couldnt stop thinking about it and wanted to replay the Citadel DLC so badly again. I've just completed that mission actually and saved the footage of that interaction to show my brother as its my favourite in the series Its like a reward after such an intensely difficult and challenging firefight as well. I hate that close quarters brawl on the Normandy almost as much the boss fight right afterwards. You can be overpowered as Hell as a sniping infiltrator, but close-quarters combat is so hard.
Wow Fizhy. Some of these are new to me. I especially like the one involving Admiral Koris and his ship name. Totally missed that one in-game, but understood the joke very well. Thanks.
Great Videos! For the next part you could show which conditions have to be met for keeping mordin Solus alive in ME3 and secretly join the crucible project. I think there was a pretty cool dialogue with garrus after pulling that off.
Surprised we haven’t seen the “Easter egg” in ME2 where you can walk into the cockpit and catch Joker watching his adult vids. As we are creatures of habit, I’d love to see you cover the different missions/storylines you can play depending on if you are a Spacer, Earthborn, or Colonist and Sole Survivor, War Hero, Ruthless. ❤ Love your content! Thank you!
It's very simple. Leara tosoni is very proud of her achievements and so she has multiple copies of this diploma in every language and she can hang whichever one is applicable up on her wall😅
I appreciate the dick joke, specially when so many of the quarian ships have massive ball like structures. Also, the concept art for some of those ships were very phallic in design.
Maybe why Liara's degree from the University of Serrice looks like what you would find on Earth. Is because people may have either contact lenses or implants in the eyes that translate alien language into the language they know how to read and could put it into a format familiar to them as well. Kind of like those features that can be found on cellphone cameras that can translate things like signs and restaurant menus into the viewer's desired language.
I don’t think he was giving them ideas as much as he was complaining that the flash bang is going to be harder to remove. That’s at least how it sounded to me when I heard that line in my play though
I've looked up videos like this many times and never found you until somebody recommended your channel. UA-cam may be hiding you from searches and the such.
( spoiler) I didn't know this until last night. If you pick the renegade option, the second time you Meet Conrad Verner on the citadel Shepard will pull out a gun on him and basically scare him out trying to be a Spectre.
Ok first of all great vid as always and secondly can i just theorize that the husk head would be a great security system...like if your sleeping and some cheeky assassin creeps in ya bedroom and that head goes off, said assassin is gonna be like "yO WhAt ThE FoOk" 🤣
you do know that there were more than one krogan rebellion right which is why they are refered to as rebellions and not just one and they were each within their own set time of fighting and then limited peace the last one is the one most known as it was the bloodiest and also the one in which the krogan were put down so hard they never recovered until your player char cures them in mass effect 3 if you choose to do so
Another great video keep them coming! also, does anyone know the title of this mass effect 1 track playing during the video? This was always one of my favorites and why I always felt creeped out and love the vibe it gave off in mass effect 1 game!
Depends on whether Captain Squeaky is in the Navy or the Marines. In the Navy, he’d be an O6 and commanding officer of a cruiser or higher class of vessel. In the Marines he’d be an O3 and commanding officer of a company of marines. Commander Shepard is an O5
What the hell did you do to Shepard in that Quarian scene? What was that abomination? Just because you CAN customize your character doesn't mean you SHOULD.
Bl**dy hell, Mate. MOST of the secrets you covered on your series, I didn't know about. I humbly surrender my "Mass Effect Superfan" license. XD Thank you for your content! Keep em coming!
So canonically in game Shepherd's suit has a computer that tells him information about things he's looking at but you're telling me they don't have a f****** GoPro built into that s*** so much s*** in this game could have been easily avoided if Shepherd just had a mounted camera oh we don't believe you you're the only one who saw the thing yeah well here's a video of it oh we don't believe you Sharon's one of our guys we can't just take your word all here's a video of him f****** shooting at me and planting moms the reapers wouldn't have stood a chance if only GoPro hadn't gone out of business in the Mass effect universe 🤣
I’m not sure this is a secret, but my favourite part of the citadel dlc is when Shepard fights his clone he says “Conrad Verner is better at being me than you” cracks me up
That's the reason I use Conrad Verner face preset to play Shepard, so we can have 3 Conrads
@@ahha6304 madlad
Love that part!!!
@@ahha6304 That's awesome. Love it!!!
That is such a burn
With regards to the first secret, a Xenomorph looking alien is dropped on a planet to be hunted by another species. Sounds kinda like a Predator was on the hunt…
Both are space related genres.
“His mother on a ship, his father in their homeland. Guess the kid grew up lonely… or not.” -dialogue during a dragon age game referencing jona’s parents and his own possible end, depending on shepards actions

@@khoavo510 yeah it refers to his possible death due to the entire fleet being wiped out, if you only side with the geth that is
13:14 you can even hear the Reaper Husk head screaming bloody murder deeper in the dumpster. That you get during the leviathan DLC.
Fun addition to #9, if you have the hamster but not the fish, Shepard comments about the clone messing things up in the cabin. Nice touch for those who didn't want to have fish
And if you got the husk head you will hear it screaming but muffled because it's buried under all of Shepard's stuff.
I love how everyone calls that a husk head... it's actually the same texture as a Cerberus troopers head if you look closely when they remove that dudes helmet.

Yaaaaaaaassssssss! What a way to start the week! Make more of these, Fizhy boy.
I just picked up the whole trilogy so now I'm starting again from the beginning so these are some interesting things to learn
I never caught that joke during the conversation with Admiral Koris until i watched your video xD

Which is some years but not 70, I say its okay, older bioware wasn't that on point with their years back then, have you played dragon age origins??
@@aaroncarr3413 No I haven't played any of the Dragon Age games.
The information with the flashbang is actually the information you retrieve for cerberus in mass 2
Yes! Just shattered something whilst cleaning. This makes me feel better. Also avoiding work atm 😅

Since I'm replaying the trilogy for the 1st time in forever, it's a perfect time to discover these vids. Thanks mate
Always amazing to see you release a new video! Wondering if Merhrkuri and Pressha and the deliberately wrong codex could be a reference/ easter egg to Freddy Mercury and the famous Queen song "Under Pressure"?
I was thinking the same thing.
Came here to comment this. ^
Secret five. Mercury found Under Pressure. One for the Queen fans, perhaps?...
I think Pressha is a Queen reference.
Admiral Mehrkuri = Freddie Mercury
Pressha = "Under Pressure"
Might be a reach though 🤣

In all my playthroughs of the ME series (and the Legendary Edition thereafter) I had no idea you could take the Husk head!

Huh. I didn't know the head interacts with the hamster. That's awesome. XD
I worry about that head if you pick the synthesis ending
Wow Fizhy. Some of these are new to me. I especially like the one involving Admiral Koris and his ship name. Totally missed that one in-game, but understood the joke very well. Thanks.
The Alien skull looks incredible similar to a Zerg Hydralisk
That's it, after hearing that Admiral Korris fact we can die happy knowing the best fact about Mass Effect!
i hate to admit it but that husk head scared the crap out of me the first time as i did not expect it to move or scream
A being of light protecting organic life from the threat posed by synthetic races sounds an awful lot like how the catalyst may describe itself...
It's not about wanting the head, it's about truly embracing the Renegade path. Chaos everywhere!
Great Videos! For the next part you could show which conditions have to be met for keeping mordin Solus alive in ME3 and secretly join the crucible project. I think there was a pretty cool dialogue with garrus after pulling that off.
I love these. I can’t imagine there can possibly be many more at this point, but I’m sure the new series will have plenty more!

Ayyy I had a similar-looking screenshot of the space hamster with my Femshep, even with the dutch angle and everything!
Haha we think alike. 😂

I’ve been playing the legendary edition lately because I never played any of them when they were released and I just wanna say
I like it
Space hamster 🐹 best part of that sequence on the ship
In the destruction ending edi’s name is on the memorial wall
Thanks for doing this series, so many little secrets!
It's very simple. Leara tosoni is very proud of her achievements and so she has multiple copies of this diploma in every language and she can hang whichever one is applicable up on her wall😅
I completely missed the Defrahnz and Iktomi joke!
Hahahaha! That dick joke part killed me 🤣😂 I thought it was just me and a few of my buddies that got that one 🤣 excellent stuff as always Ethan!
And we know that Boo is a "miniature giant space hamster", even more of a nod lol.
I appreciate the dick joke, specially when so many of the quarian ships have massive ball like structures. Also, the concept art for some of those ships were very phallic in design.
I’m looking forward to 10 M.E. things you miss 7 & 8!

We just gonna skim over the fact they didn’t find Mehrkuri (Mercury) under Pressha’s (pressure’s) gas?
I don’t think he was giving them ideas as much as he was complaining that the flash bang is going to be harder to remove. That’s at least how it sounded to me when I heard that line in my play though
I've looked up videos like this many times and never found you until somebody recommended your channel. UA-cam may be hiding you from searches and the such.
Well now you know where to find me
I didn't know about how to steal the disembodied husk head either
The skull is a King Alien from the planet LV426 and was brought there by a clan of Predators.
( spoiler) I didn't know this until last night. If you pick the renegade option, the second time you Meet Conrad Verner on the citadel Shepard will pull out a gun on him and basically scare him out trying to be a Spectre.
for number 9 the muffled screaming of the husk head has me dead
that head indoctrinated sheppard in his bedroom.
indoctrination theory confirmed XD
You could say that Admiral's Mehrcuri was...under Pressha.
Ok first of all great vid as always and secondly can i just theorize that the husk head would be a great security system...like if your sleeping and some cheeky assassin creeps in ya bedroom and that head goes off, said assassin is gonna be like "yO WhAt ThE FoOk" 🤣

any Andromeda secrets videos in the pipeline? ive noticed a few
Liked before watching keep up the good shit man
Leviathan of dis is Gavin
I never got the Leviathan dialogue from Balak / his replacement - how do you trigger it? 😃
Also, why is the husk head's cable so long that it forms an entire coil just beneath it?
wait... Sheppard's Hamster outranks him?
Depends on whether Captain Squeaky is in the Navy or the Marines. In the Navy, he’d be an O6 and commanding officer of a cruiser or higher class of vessel. In the Marines he’d be an O3 and commanding officer of a company of marines.
Commander Shepard is an O5
So an Admiral called Mercury has been found "under Pressure?"
That skull is a Leviathan
Freak that was great
What the hell did you do to Shepard in that Quarian scene? What was that abomination? Just because you CAN customize your character doesn't mean you SHOULD.
I’d be more concerned about the husk head watching while sharing a romantic moment with Tali >.>

Hi everyone
M E has the WORST names for characters ! Like they used a random name generator.. cringeworthy
Like what?
YES!!!!! FINALLY!!!!!
This was another good one. Still hope you make some more horizon stuff.
The laviethan being referred to as an organic ship might have also been a reference to Farscape.
Love these videos
