    I remember few years back after my wife died, I was left alone with 3 kids. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Got addicted to alcohol. Not until a friend recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment changed my life for better. I can proudly say i'm totally clean for 6 years and still counting. Always look to nature for solution to tough problems, Shrooms are phenomenal.

      I love hearing great life changing stories like this. I want to become a mycologist because honestly mushrooms are the best form of medicine (most especially the psychedelic ones) There are so many people today used magic mushrooms to ween off of SSRI medication- its amazing! Years back i wrote an entire essay about psychedelics. they saved you from death buddy, lets be honest here.

      Hey mates! Can you help with the source? I suffer severe anxiety, panic and depression and I usually take prescription medicine, but they don't always help. Where can I find those psilocybin mushrooms? I'm really interested in treating my mental health without Rxs. I live in Australia don't know much about these. I'm so glad they helped you. I can't wait to get them too. Really need a reliable source 🙏

      YES sure of mycologist Predroshrooms. Mushrooms literally got me off my feet and turned my whole life around. I am currently a housing manager for a recovery program. I wouldn't have been able to do that shit without psilocybin.

And you have more money in your pocket. God bless everyone who has rejected the devils intentions to be addicted to alcohol and cigarettes etc which can cause so much damage to health. I will pray for you all.

    I’ve been waking up every night at 3 and can’t go back to sleep this all started when I binge drink on weekend alcohol causes me so many problems physically mentally and emotionally I’ve quitter before and life was gd now I’ve decided never again is not worth it one night of fun for 3 4 days of depression

    • @jimmypeeps8471
      @jimmypeeps8471 4 місяці тому +1

      It's like that old saying, something about how drinking just borrows fun from tomorrow for today. It's definitely not worth it. And in the end, the more you drink the less fun normal life becomes. It's a vicious cycle. That's why I tell younger people to just "never drink", it's not worth finding out if you'll be a weekend binge drinker, a bum living in the streets or someone losing their wife and kids in a divorce from your drinking later in life. There's nothing but risks you're potentially setting yourself up for. What's the potential benefit? That you manage to be a very light social drinker, only having one or two maybe three drinks tops at celebrations and get togethers? THEN YOU MIGHT AS WELL JUST STAY SOBER at that point lol, because one to three drinks over hours hardly does anything anyway. If anything it might just increase your chances of saying something you regret later.

    Matt Walker's audible book "Why We Sleep" is well worth a listen for anyone wanting to dive deeper into all facets of sleep and its impacts. The studies on the effects of alcohol on unborn fetus' was particularly interesting. Just one drink from Mum was enough to impact the REM/NREM sleep of babies with growing evidence to link frequent ingestion to the disruption in the child's development. Going through the journey of reducing (and trying to eliminate) alcohol intake myself and just after a night or two of not drinking the quality of sleep is really noticed. Dreams are way more vivid, feel rested in the morning, feel less anxious. Very thankful that folk like Huberman and Matt Walker are sharing this research so publicly and raising awareness.

    The true problem for me is couple of days after drinking. The night I drink I sleep very well (at least I think so), but then in the following days I literally nap in the night and am not able to get a good sleep.

  • @Dracoboss98
    @Dracoboss98 Рік тому +14

    I thought REM sleep was when people dream, which is weird because alcoholism has made my dreams completely insane. Weird, vivid events just happen every single night, when I used to dream rarely. I have frequent nightmares now, and I also fiend for liquor/hide my liquor in my dreams. It truly takes over the human psyche at the most primal level.

      I agree with your statement....however would you agree that alcohol can effect emotion and anxiety levels? As a result emotional oversensivity from alcohol may be contributing to the entire insomnia stew. It may not be a total solve but abstinence can help some people reduce that anxiety + sensitivity.

Found out my white blood cell count is 2.7 K/uL after blood draw lab examination. Doc typed that is a low amount. Not so low that I can't wait 3 months to do a re-check. It depends on metabolization. If your body is able to fully metabolize alcohol before sleep, the better the sleep quality. You will have been sober hours before going to bed
      before this takes place.
      Matt Walker talks about coffee having a half-life of about 6 - 8 hours. But the quarter-life is around 12 - 14 hours.
      This varies person to person.
      However, biologically with alcohol, people will metabolize alcohol at wildly different rates. Tolerance, how much you've had to eat, and
      natural biology all play a part.
      So, in many ways, it may be impossible for the average person to gauge how alcohol will affect oneself.

      No not at all, its a poor bandaid solution to a bigger deeper problem. There is a ton of information and studies floating around on the internet to help people learn about their sleep and why they might struggle with it, there are also proffessionals that can help you with it. Sure, if you have tried literally every natural or clinical remedy for insomnia/struggle to sleep, maybe you can have that conversation. But the reality is, statements like that are a cop out for people who dont really want to address the problem and would rather a quick fix.
