This series is probably one of my fondest memories. I would bike home from school, get a Gatorade from the fridge, sit down in the floor of my moms bathroom (the only place that there wasn’t construction in our house) and watch till the contractors left. It helped to distract me from everything else that was going terribly, and I looked forward to it all day. Even though it may have been the start of a gradual downward spiral that is only just beginning to end, I still look back on those weeks fondly.

I tried playing this game on my own time and I literally was so scared and made it as far as the first scene with that tall lady even though I watched you play the game beforehand. Watching someone play a scary game vs ACTUALLY playing it is a completely different thing. The thing about this game that got me the most was that I couldn't fight, only run and hide and my anxiety was so high I had to quit playing lolol

As someone who works with children (I'm in college working on getting my Associates in Early Childhood Education) the school sections of this game are INCREDIBLY hard to watch, especially knowing the sick stories of Catholic priests and children. I have to keep reminding myself it's just a game, and that it's SUPPOSED to give me that reaction, being the type of game that it is. It's a really good game though.

I like the on going theme Outlast has with the run, hide or die story. I like that you can't fight back at all and it's just about out smarting the enemy and escaping.

As someone who works with children (I'm in college working on getting my Associates in Early Childhood Education) the school sections of this game are INCREDIBLY hard to watch, especially knowing the sick stories of Catholic priests and children. I have to keep reminding myself it's just a game, and that it's SUPPOSED to give me that reaction, being the type of game that it is. It's a really good game though.

I like the on going theme Outlast has with the run, hide or die story. I like that you can't fight back at all and it's just about out smarting the enemy and escaping.
