The thing that’s always freaked me out about outlast is that the humans eyes reflect. In real life that doesn’t happen with humans because we don’t have that part of our eyes like animals do and every time I watch this I remember my biology professor telling me if I ever saw a human whose eyes reflected like an animals I should fcking run

The first outlast is children's play. Me and my friend completed it in our early teen years in ONE SITTING.
Of course we shaked for the next hour and screamed through the game but yeah! We completed it.
Outlast 2 is the real shit. Though tbh I get more disgusted rather than scared while playing the 2nd part. It's the main reason I play it only once a week for at most of an hour. I just need time to reflect on my life choices every time.

Blake held the camera all the way until the helicopter hit the ground. It's not unrealistic at all, and even at such speeds, the outside of a camera can take a lot. It's not like it was hit by a car. If the camera was dead, Blake would be, too.

I'll admit this. I was thinking of playing out last and then I saw a couple of videos of Mark playing it. I said "Nope Nope Nope Nope. I want to keep my sanity thank you very much." I was young and dumb. Now that I am an adult, I'm still scared because I believe outlast, FEAR, and a few other games doesn't need jumpscares to make a horror game so scary that it can make it unplayable.

I have to admit, I love how the outlast games are set up like an anthology of urban legends/hauntings. I can't wait for the next game!
Did Mark seriously just flim flam around the prison- ignoring all sounds and dialogue, and then after Lynn was loudly raped above him say, "are they still gunna kill her or something?" There will be no Tiny Box Tim to protect you in this game... but seriously, pay more attention to the sounds of the environment. They give you ample time to avoid enemies! Like so Mark can see!
I'd probably flail around too lmao. If not for the dialogue on the screen I'd not understand anything because it was overwhelming (my mind hurts with all the people speaking and the gross images of the people in the prison), and probably more if you play the game. Outlast does it good with making you think that you're _never_ safe and probably contributed to Mark's panicked flailing. I do agree though. He can help himself more if he does pay more attention.
(Although his face _does_ indicate that he gets the gist of the events happening above, with him saying "immaculate Conception" as they walk outside. Probably thought Lynn would die on the get-go since usually that's how other characters die in any game/movie)

i dont believe that she was raped. they probably wouldnt put her clothes back on, especially when she escapes on her own terms. also the preacher said, that she's allready pregnant with (presumably) your child. he examined her in some demeaning/sexual manner but i dont think it was rape. maybe she opens up about it later in the game

There's actually a file in the whistleblower dlc that basically explains what happens with females and Lynn is experiencing the same thing. The murkoff logo also flashes on and off in the static videos
I like how he points up in the sky and screams after the crow that jumped out at him, real immersive.
