Hope you are feeling better and I used to live in Queens. Usually people will go to the boroughs instead of Manhattan since it is super expensive. There are some pockets of Manhattan that aren’t as expensive but yea. I personally paid 1800 in Queens which was a good price for about 800 sqft, 1 bed and 1 bath. It was also in a good area and was a 10 minute walk from the LIRR, and subway aka it was a great price (I think most where going for 2100 at the time in my area) and this was 2019

Glad you’re feeling better! Yes could’ve been worse…my friend spent hours planting flowers & tomatoes out in her garden THEN watered them all in with weed killer by mistake 🤦🏻♀️

The convo about nyc make me laugh and cry 🥲 it’s all true hahah I lived in nyc for about a year during college, and most of my friends still live there. It’s unbelievable the pricing. Rent is insane. It’s all insane, but rent especially. And yes, because most places really don’t have kitchens, most people eat out for every meal. However remember, while yes the minimum wage is $15, non-minimum wage jobs pay a lot more than the average city. A 40k job in one city is more like 65k+ in NY…. But it’s because it’s nyc and it’s the cost of living there, so it’s more normalized for those higher numbers but in a way it “evens out” (sort of lol) Lastly…. Most people live with roommates. Even in those 400sqft apts. and renting out their place is also super common. 🙃
Love the video, the only thing i didnt see listed in the description, were those huge boxes with clear lid, where did you find those?, they look perfect! Or what they are called, my brain cant think anymore searching for them🤯 love all those babies you grew from corms, I only have 5 with 1 new leaf, and 1 gave me 2 leaves at once as its 1st leaf. I did just plant something in a pot I knew was too big because I wanted to put a trellis in it. It was staying way too wet so I had to rescue it… and then put it back in the same pot. 🤦🏼♀️ I thought it would be fine if I watered it lightly. It’s not, the roots are a mess now.
I will be hiding in my basement with the light off on Halloween. Sorry kiddos
Sounds like a polish quality issue maybe, if it’s peeling like that even with filing/dehydrating, priming/base coat etc… I’ve had that happen if my base coat lifts off of my nail from not prepping properly (if I’m lazy with it).. but if you’re prepping the nails then I’m curious if it’s a quality issue and not a prep issue
I've only been using holo Taco polish so I don't think quality is the issue and it happened when I used dollar store polish. And I dehydrate them and (usually) use a base coat. It's so weird!!
