- It has been over 5 years since my first video run of this. Today I present one of the world's most beautiful luxurious trains ever to grace the West Coast. Broadway limited trains have created a gem when you see this train on your layout. Highly requested by member far and wide, so enjoy the power of the GS-4 as this video takes you back to the days of old!
This video was shot on location at Texas Northern Model Railroad club texasnorthern.org/
Looks great! I’d love to see a Paragon 3 GS4. It would be interesting to see how those would compare to MTH’s recent GS4s.
My BLI GS4 was one of the lemons. This reminds me I should probably get back to re-assembling it ....i gutted it and got replacement parts.
Hello from Kansas 🇺🇸
Love the Hoffa Cement :D
Amazing! Wants to know? I prefer this type of n scale of the layout.
Looking forward to a BLI Paragon 4 die cast version...
I wish I could find one of these and convert it to paragon 4. If I couldn’t convert it to that I’d use Wowsound with a 4 speaker set up (yikes for ears.)
What is the minimum radius on this layout ? I can’t seem to get mine to run without de railing all the time. Thank you
99% of 4-8-4 type engines require 22” minimum radius. The PCM T1’s could do 18” but at slow speed. It’s safer to have 24”-26” radius just because close coupling or some other random factor that causes derailments.
@@James-Railyard yes I figured that even 22 is challenging depending on easement.
@@FrenchRacer58 I guess that would also be a factor. I didn’t think of that initially.
@@James-Railyard agree. I like 28-31 for my brass 4-8-4s which come with the proper wheel base
Did Bli do a rerun of the gs4’s?
No although it was rumored but I think they lost something where they can't make them but I will keep my prayers up they make them again!
I emailed them a while ago and they said they intend on doing it again!
