Just as a tip, when you travel in a car with your rabbit, you might want to have your rabbit in a carrier. If rabbits get freaked out they may end up hurting themselves in a moving car. And plus it will provide a place for them to hide so they can feel safe. Also, that is a very pretty rabbit! Hope you have fun with your new rabbit! Bunnies are such good pets if you take good care of them. I have two myself and they are so sweet.
All my 5 pets hates being in their cage when they need to go to the vet or sum, so they always cry in the car if they don’t lay in my lap. (But I totally agree with u)
Hello, I am a veterinarian and I just want to say that having a dog in the house more than 20 feet away from a bunny/Rabbit can make it easier for the bunny to die from a heart attack or other causes due to anxiety. i just wanted to let you know but i am worried about the bunnies well being.
I am also raising a bunny named Tobin. We met her at the grocery store. At that time, she was in a dire situation, so I had to rescue her. Now, she is a 7-year-old cute member of our family, and we love her dearly. Please take care and continue to create happy and memorable moments with your bunnies. I hope you find strength even though your bunny isn't by your side. I'm here to support you. Thanks for sharing your video.
We had two bunnies and they recently passed🥺 Im so sorry Gus passed away and I hope Winnie makes you happy! Me and my siblings are going to each get our own bunny in the spring but they will all live together! DONT WORRY GUYS WE WILL GIVE THEM ENOUGH SPACE! But in total we will have 3 bunnies and I’m super excited!
Hi! Your definitely super educated about rabbits and I’m super happy to see that because when people get rabbits not everyone is as educated! I would slowly introduce vegetables to your rabbit soon and eventually give your rabbit veggies everyday! For pellets they should have 1/4 per 5 pounds so as a baby rabbit that doesn’t weight as much make sure your feeding the proper amount! (Which I think you doing great!) Again I’m so glad your super educated and Gus is ADORABLE🥰
bunnies also like to get off the ground and look around (like a watch tower type of thing)- you could place a ramp up to a chair or something he can hop up and have a look around.
i just saw the water bowl now, your doing amazing!! Also love the litter box! I love it when people actually do their research before buying an animal.
i mean she still went to a breeder over adoption, there didnt seem to be any chew toys, and she was letting him out around dogs who could easily give him a heart attack, so not too much research was done. It’s very unfortunate that he died so quickly (likely of G.I stasis) but the death would have probably been avoided with better research and a vet.
You are such a good bunny mom! I remember getting my first bunny almost 30 years ago and I have had one ever since. You must have been devastated when Gus died, I'm so sorry! They are precious but fragile and can go downhill quickly. Enjoy your new girl.
A tip for pet owners watching. Rabbits and dogs do not have great traction on slippery surfaces per se, and hairy feet are even more slippery. I have seen dogs and rabbits that end up with splayed legs, that eventually give way due to wooden, laminate or tiled flooring.......so sad because they have stressed out ligaments. Imagine walking on a skating rink, and imagine how you might walk and compensate to prevent from slipping and falling! So please make sure your pet has non slip flooring to walk on so they can have a good grip. A good carpet runner along a wooden floor is a good idea.
I love this video sooo much 1) THAT BUNNY IS SO CUTE WLKDKSOQO 2) you did your research 👏🏻 3) he looks and acts SO much happier other than being in that cage with over 5 more bunny’s
Hi I just wanted to say don't give iceberg lettuce or more than 1/4 cup of pellets also it should be occasionally that they have pellet and always vegetables and romain lettuce 😉 I recommend spring mix
Baby bunnies actually need to lots of pellets, some vets recommend unlimited, because of all the nutrients in them that help them grow properly. Fresh veggies should be introduced slowly at about 3 months old :)
It's nice to see that people actually do research now before they get pets! I use to see so many people who got rabbits and did no research and had no idea what they were doing.
Hey that hay feeder is not that good I recommend you put the hay in the litter box but if you do want to use a hay feeder use one where it is easy to grab the hay

@@delfina1255 I think that as they get older they can get a bit hormonal, and they may fight. The best way to fix this is to get them spayed, which will stop them from getting ovarian cancer which is extremely common for bunnies.
@@delfina1255 yes i do Get 2 play pens or something grids maybe something like that get two little boxes basically two of their necessity stuff put like a border around them until they try to get better with each other and Keep the two litter boxes so that way they don’t get territorial and feed them far away from each other so they don’t get territorial and also how old are they that will help me understand what’s happening

I’m so sorry to hear about Gus I just now found out he had passed away it’s sad when your pet dies I hope your new bunny Winnie lives a long healthy life
Don't play with your rabbits like that they are pray animals that means they are very shy they are not like dogs where they want to play all the time you need to get a very good bond with them to let them be touched by you or pet by you and you need lot of trust and bond with your rabbit if you want to pick them up
just when you hold him make sure to press him to your chest him facing you they feel more protected. Most bunnies dont like being picked up anyways becasue there afraid of heights and it makes them feel like a preditor is getting them.
For rabbits , please read up on gut (stasis) if you feed them the wrong food they can have constipation and deadly !. They can only have certain veggies . Never (ice burg lettuce) 🥕 are sweets and so is fruit ! So only on occasions

@@delfina1255 I think that as they get older they can get a bit hormonal, and they may fight. The best way to fix this is to get them spayed, which will stop them from getting ovarian cancer which is extremely common for bunnies.
@@harrylenon9594 Thank you so much! I am gonna get them fixed!
@@Pr3tty._lies they are females of 4 monthes

Gus is so cute! Glad to see you are taking good care of him and giving him lots of attention. :) Omg i'm so sorry I just saw what you said about gus. :( But yes we would love to see a video about Winnie!
them cages that the bunnies were in ! no :( if your gonna go to a breeder, go to a good one atleast
I’m so sorry to hear about Gus I just now found out he had passed away it’s sad when your pet dies I hope your new bunny Winnie lives a long healthy life
they actually need two handfuls of lettuce a day (not trying to be rude) and always have hay avalible i recomend watching lennon the bunny for tips
So sorry for your loss:( RIP Gus
They need lettuce every day for breakfast and dinner and a little bit of pellets, your bunny is so cute!! I also have a bunny 🐰
Your bunny Gus looks like my bunny s’mores.
I can definitely tell your bunny is happy 😊
Thank you for proper bunny care!!!
