Nice demo,. For larger can shells it helps to mark the end discs for a visual reference. Spiking shells can be a workout, stand on the string and pull up as hard as you can to create the tension while turning the shell. Pasting ball shells is less tiring :)
@@PassfireRocket A board works, i just wrapped a turn around my foot :) I like to spike small can shells with 2 strands of 1mm hemp twine, its less bulky than thick twine and it really bites into the end discs. It can be hard on your fingers though :)

I put a wood board on the string and step on it. Otherwise just stepping on the string makes it slip.
