Thomas, thank you for this video series. I have been wanting to get into FPV drone flying and filming. Seeing someone go through the process and be willing to share there successes and failures is great. It really helps us newbies to see what to expect. Looking forward to watching how you progress and where this project take you.
Thank you, it’s been exciting to do
Very useful tips!
Thanks mate! 👊
Great content, m having the same difficulties but hey we have to learn!!!
Great video
Thank you
Wow. Having recently watched the 1959 Russian film, The Cranes Are Flying, (check the montage upload on youtube) this makes me think of so many possibilities for dramatic use.
Love this drone for the reason it got me into freestyle FPV so easily. I felt the same way about crashing/learning until one good crash with the DJI put me out $264 without refresh. I built my first custom quad last month and now I can crash it all I want!
What was it like learning to build one?
@@ThomasBusbyPhotography It took me about nine months to finally get everything up and running. I originally wanted to get a bind and fly but everything was sold out during the pandemic. I then canceled my order and just started trying to piece together based off specs of the one that I was trying to order because I had no idea what to get. There are so many Facebook groups with helpful people in them to figure out what is compatible. Also Joshua Bardwell is a godsend. His videos are pretty long but thorough. Soldering isn’t as much of a nightmare as I thought it was either. If you check my channel I have a quick overview of my build and first flight. Nothing spectacular or informative but just an overview. Get Loctite! Every few flights I take I find something has fallen off. Lol
The only thing I bought that wasn’t comparable was the DJI air unit was too big for my bqe Botafx frame. Swapped for a caddx vista
I wonder if locally I can find a ready to go kit and to save my self the 9 months, I know I have a local repair guy which would save me in a long run
@@ThomasBusbyPhotography all the kids are getting the Nazgûl 5” HD. You can still use your goggles but you need to get the black FPV remote from DJI.
I'm trying to learn how to fly ACRO in DJI Virtual Fly. 💥DJI FPV and 💥DJI Mini 3 Pro two best drone✌️
Is good video nice
Absolutely incredible and informative video! Been in at it for a month off a single battery, any chance I get. Any advise on training location if you don't live on farm land?
Sport fields are a great spot when no one is around
The DJI flight app will teach you the skills you need to fly manual, it's way better than the drone racing apps.
if you cant bay de safeguard for the leg is lick 30$ and make more hard the drone so doesn't brake, and tk for the video I liker and look to learn more of your experiens
