Here’s some good advice to those who are yet to trust themselves outside with their DJI FPV (or those who are hung up or stuck in the flight sim!!!!) Wether you have the DJI care or not doesn’t really matter; what needs to change the most is your whole mindset; the “Philosophy of Use”, if you will. I was stuck for MONTHS in the simulator. Then, I decided, “why have I paid a FULL PREMIUM PRICE to buy a drone that has all of the safety features (that the DJI FPV offers), and not using it to its full potential; and just hung up on the simulator; thinking: *”If I cant fly in the simulator; I cant fly in real-life.”* Nothing could be further from the truth… I was TERRIBLE in the simulator… Hardly any FPV experience (other than crashing.. lol) So, begin by taking off with your DJI FPV in Normal mode. Then, take it 100ft-200ft up (dont forget to reset your RTH altitude), and take it up a few hundred feet; and switch it to Manual! The way the sticks make you take over will hold the engines and flight controls to hold idle and still *until you begin to move the drone*. KEEP A FINGER ON THE EMERGENCY BUTTON!!! You will NEED IT!!!!! *As long as you give yourself enough height and altitude to complete the rolly-rolls and flippity-flips, and keep a finger on the emergency brake; you have nothing to fear whatsoever.* The simulator is NOT 1:1 as advertised by DJI. I was TERRIBLE in the sim…. I now have over 100 flights on my dji fpv and around 85 flight hours on it. Definitely worth the $230 to spend on the Fly More combo for the extra few battery packs…….. *In closing; the simulator is NOT exact match to flying; i found flying in real life to be much easier than the SIM. Just mind your gimbal angle and keep a finger on the emergency brake, and your good to go.*
Thank you for showing the capability of this drone without trashing it. I see nothing but FPV dudes totally trashing this drone for some reason. Nice video bud. You got a thumbs and a subscribe from me.
Yeah, it’s a great drone. FPV people trash shit. I don’t know why because it’s not made to do what a 5 inch quad can do that weighs a third of what the FPV weighs. They all expected to do the same thing and it just doesn’t. It’s not made for that and what it is made for. It’s great. I love it.
U make my day better bro I haven’t walk since Jan I’m trying to start walking and I love to see ur drone videos bc when I didn’t broke my leg I use to love flying mine take care bro 🔥
Awesome video 😊 I've had the M4P for a few months and whilst it's insane for all its features and will always be my go to camera drone, I've spent a few hours on Velocidrone and that was it - I went ahead and ordered the FPV and I CAN'T WAIT to get it into M mode and play with (and hopefully not end up in) some trees!
I got the money to buy this and the combo and all. But I must be strong and use it wise. I got the ma2. I like it. I made a few videos and learned a few things. I'm going to wait on the next new come out.
Great video! I was curious what’s the best/safest process for putting those filters on the camera? I am worried about damaging the gimbal overtime if I have to ensure those filters are snug. Thank you!
I total crashed mine in M Mode yesterday. I dived down pretty quickly (didn't seem too fast based on the video feed though because of the wide-angle lens) and failed to recover altitude on time. Front two arms broke along with part of the middle frame. Right arm needs to be replaced. Right landing gear needs to be replaced. Camera ripped right off with wires from cable sticking out. Vision module cable also needs to be replaced. The clear plastic main cover (covers the fan) also got damaged towards the front. Yesterday I went on eBay to find replacement parts and bought all of them which came to a total of 166.69. Today I went back just to look how much a new one would be since I saw one that was $400 (drone only) the other day. Come to find out that there's some that ship from China for about $260 (after sales tax) 🤔. Buying the new one from China made more sense to me since this specific drone is so difficult to repair. Not like they advertise. They advertise their drone design as being "modular" and thus basically indicating that it's easy to repair which it's really not any easier than repairing or taking apart a Mini 2 for example.
Thats why Im careful with my DJI fpv !! I have assembled 2 mavic pros and an air 2s from parts. when I bought this one I looked at it carefully and watched a few vids on repair and bottom line is yes you can repair it but do you have the time and money to pull the whole thing apart just to change 1 arm !! Its a nice drone and lots of fun but they really messed up not making it much easier to repair. If I wreck mine I will probably buy a drone only eBay deal and just scrap the crashed one
how do you hover or just slow down when moving. i pull back on the right stick a bit and it wants to do a back flip but at the same time it runs me off course as i try to navigate a hole or something. would be easier if i could just slow down
I just flew manual without the simulator, it seems like my drone actually is defective because after landing, itarmed by itself and flew towards me really fast and the propellers cut my palm.
i just got my drone today and have been grinding the sim. the only issue im having if going forward and backwards without throwing thr camera back and changing altitiudes. any tips?
Hey man great vid! On my dji fpv footage looks shaky in Googles but when I play vid from drone micro sd card looks smooth any idea why is that ? Many thanks
I wonder when i could get to your skills bro..i still fly in sport and need more hours,, but hv you try to dive with it at a high rise building? maybe its another fun i think..

Thank you for video and have earned a subscribe I have the FPV and just installed simulator witch i went tossing and crashing instantly..... I'm wondering if there is sensitivity settings that you have found that make the sim more realistic to the Drone if that is even a thing?

Tiny whoops are the best way to learn acro mode. No way in hell I'd tell someone to learn acro on the dji fpv. You're definitely going to crash and the dji fpv isn't cheap
Nope. I still haven’t crashed that DJI FPV. Well, my girlfriend did. Recently. So it doesn’t count :D but there will be a crash test of this drone coming very soon! :)
Don't buy this drone, it will break, you can't get spare parts, it's way too expensive. You are much better off with a real FPV drone with carbon fiber frame.

in M mode you slow down by pulling back with the sticks so that the propellers can push against the momentum you have gained.
Which simulator you suggested for noobs ? very nice vid man !
Can you leave attitude on to start?
When I switch from N to M mid flight in dji simulator sometimes the drone engine turns off. Why does it happen? Will it happen also in real life?
Thank you very much 👍

From 15 to 30

Yes, in M mode it’s locked!
I can't get rid of the controller stick error. I've calibrated the controller multiple times and it remains. Any ideas?
Might be a faulty controller.
Is it possible to get full speed of sport manual mode with out turning n the acro part so it won't do flips? By still go top speed
