      Yes, love it to get such unusual views - then even a simple wafer lock becomes a bit more interesting.

    There seem to be 4 unique shapes in 7 wafers here - there are lots of dimensions and shapes going on also - who knew that a wafer lock could be so interesting ? :o)
    PS - the fast motion dismantle might have been better at normal speed in this case - just a suggestion - there seem to be 7 wafers, but only 6 visible during picking...

      Thanks a lot for your comment - I'm always undecided when I should fast-forward. I wanna keep my videos short and entertaining. But yes, in this case it would have been more valuable to have tracked the wafers while pulling them out. It's indeed interesting that they have taken the effort to make these different shapes, must be a hassle to assemble in the factory.

    I lost the key to a bikemate wafer lock and I do not have a right picker, just a paper clip and it does not work. Is this due to the paperclip or am I doing something wrong?

    • @Potti314
      @Potti314  5 років тому

      Paperclip is weak material and not as good as a regular pick. But of course experience help ;-)

    You ended up with 7 wafers, was one hidden at the front ?

    • @two_tier_gary_rumain
      @two_tier_gary_rumain 5 років тому

      No, usually at the back. They usually use a wafer as the locking wafer. It holds the core in when the others are set. That stops the core from being removed by the correct key.

    • @Potti314
      @Potti314  5 років тому +1

      Yes, Gary is right. The 7th wafer could not be see while picking as it was in the back behind the cutout.
