Exploring the Spectacular San Juan Mountains of Colorado with our Patriot Campers X1-H

- In this episode, we head into the San Juan Mountains for the first time to explore the Alpine Loop. This is some of the most spectacular scenery we've seen so far on our Colorado Overlanding trip. The area is also rich with history as well. We set up base camp near Engineer Pass next to Yellowstone Gulch just outside of the Uncompaghre National Forest before exploring the loop and the Animas Forks ghost town. These are some of the best preserved structures of the mining era and worth a trip to explore. We'll definitely be back to explore this area more someday.

That area is nice, I used to fish there. Stayed at the exact spot in that dispersed camp ground many times in my 32' 5th wheel.
