Rubber gets hard and brittle with age and weather cycles. It's entirely possible to have tires with great tread life left, but with the stopping and handling power of a banana peel. If you're like me and barely put a couple of thousand miles on your car a year, you need to plan on replacing your barely used tires after 5 to 7 years of their manufacture date.

@@wesleypepple7525 Hi Wesley, greetings. I'm in a country that has some of the most dangerous traffic in the world, Brazil. Therefore, either you know how to drive using defensive driving techniques all the time, or you end up having a serious accident.
I see in these videos that Americans seem to think that everyone will drive correctly, and they don't react as they should, which is why there are so many accidents shown here that could easily be avoided. Stay in peace
