#4 The cammer is definitely to blame. You stay in lane when leaving a roundabout, you cut across the Mini who was in the correct lane. Some of these cammers really need to learn to drive and stop blaming it on the other drivers.

Yeah. It’s funny how some drivers delude themselves into thinking they’re in the right. A lot of people with dash cams just assume the moral high ground because they have a camera. I was behind one idiot who was doing 20mph in a 30mph zone and I was getting frustrated and he was pointing at his camera as though he was doing nothing wrong. Unbelievable.

where does it say anything about 2 on 2 off in the HWC though, its became a thing, but it doesnt actually say it anywhere. there isnt any markings and there isnt much that makes it the case. "most appropriate" is all it says and that doesnt clear anything up unless there are lines showing you whice way lanes continue on. considering lanes are marked to go 3rd exit from lane one and all sorts depending on the roundabout, then lane one at times exits into all lanes at times as well.
appropriate seems to be, 1st exit for things before 180 or straight and second for anything to the right so no one can argues. or get actual marking like they do on most other roundabout now

Read the highway code. ( Rule Section 129 )
You can cross a double white line if the vehicle in front of you is traveling 10mph or less and it is safe to do so.
In regards as to where the truck crossed, he could absolutely see down that road well enough and long enough to mitigate hazard if a vehicle was to come the other way. (especially since the road is a 30mph)
The only thing that was bad about that event is that the truck didn't leave enough space between them and the cyclist.
Being a good road user is also about fixing your mis-understandings for the benefit of all. Not just yourself.

    • @andrewwilloughby7878

And often the horn used in anger after someone has supposedly done something can cause the other driver to retaliate. People need to learn to let it go, the roads are busy we cant do anything about other peoples driving. We are all going somewhere. Its simply not worth getting involved. Near misses ? Doesn’t bother me so long as they miss. Happens most days, you just deal with it and not get wound up.

One of them used to come and block my drive every week for a few months, eventually i told him to stop doing it because it had held me up twice leaving to pick someone up - dude had the nerve to ask me to wait, when I told him 'no', he gave me the finger. Keep in mind this parking job was saving him at most 5 steps, and hes not exactly carrying anything heavy - just groceries that even your granny can handle. Took a picture of him, his plate and rang the number on the van, reported him and hes not been seen since. They treat you like you're in their way, on your own property.

#62 seems bad to me on both sides. At first the rider made a mistake and exchanged some words, and then the driver of the car joined the rage. He had driven so close from the scooter it removes any margin for errors. the driver could have injured the rider in case of collision. I find it irresponsible. I do not understand how authorities could give a warning only to the rider. Both should get a warning.
