Ill have another video about my thoughts on the change from Seasons out later, this is just the new content im hyped for.

For once I have nothing bad to say about the new Armour Core. With every core there was something that never made them *perfect* but the MK4. God damn is it perfect.

Nothing wrong with Cores. Its an anchor for authencity and to know where all the parts originally came from. Problem was zero cross core and very shallow pool of armor parts from the get go. People gat angsty and " muh freedom to look silly " Both Cores and Cross core parts in game is best compromise. Though I hate some combinations that screws with my lore-canon authencity head😂 I will NEVER do cross core unless it makes sense lore wise . To each their own
@@connorbaz5980 For as much as I absoloutely adore red team and the cutscene from Halo Wars 1 (the fight against the honour guards) I don't think they should be in mainline games directly. Maybe as a mention similar to how Infinite showed Lasky was still alive through an audio log. Maybe Halo wars 3 that focuses on space combat?

I've been waiting for MK IV for so long it's almost surreal to see it in game. Makes me wonder if they're going to introduce Red Team in the mainline games, and set up Jerome as the successor to Chief.

It’s a shame they didn’t mention any changes to the sandbox like new weapons, vehicles etc even though we’ve all seen them in the game files. Maybe we might get more info in next weeks blog or get a surprise in the update but we might have to wait until middle of the year.

I really miss the pump shotgun, fuel rod, and spartan laser. Would love to see those in the game. Oh and the covenant carbine too!
i feel like the fuel rod and carbine are way too close to the cindershot and stalker rifle tbh. the skewer is also knows as the brute laser, so there's that

I agree with the pump and fuelies, but I'm glad spartan lasers are gone. It made vehicles so much less effective with one-laser nukes, and the skewer is a better fit for that balence.

I really really really hope that they keep developing infinite. I love the gameplay. The idea of infinite being multiplayer and just making new story games is amazing and I’d love to see it come true

I agree though if they keep it around and just release new campaigns I’d be very happy. I’m terrified to see a new MP because even though Infinite is great, I absolutely hated 4 and 5, so I don’t have a ton of faith they could do this good again.

I like that they are making maps with unique features (this one that is soon to be released, the prism mines, the gold sandwich in forbidden and the doors that can be hacked in fragmentation) these maps remind me a lot of Halo 2 anniversary, I like it because it makes them stand out compared to other maps and allows for very different gameplay.

That map...the also has the classic overshield being studied on it, not just the classic camo. And they made a point to show the screen in the map showing camo online and overshield offline. I wonder if that mean there will be a way to toggle the middle hallway between camo and overshield.
That would be awesome.

Actually huge. That MkIV looks exactly what I wished for. First W in a while, I hope they keep coming. Still need my Reach customisation options, still vaulted, still malding.

This does genuinely excite me, but it does also really make me wonder what 343's legacy will be when it's all said and done and they're no longer making Halo games. Like, it's kind of wild to think that this next one will be their 5th Halo game and it seems like each entry suffers a similar fate --> Starts out bad or rocky --> 343 improves things --> looks to make the next Halo sooner than expected because the current release wasn't received as well as they hoped. Just kind of interesting that they've yet to have one game that the community is like "finally, this is it. this is Halo." You could maybe argue Infinite or MCC, but both took over a year to redeem themselves. In any case, my biggest hope for 343 is that they've learned a ton from Halo Infinite and can use that to finally make their ultimate Halo game. One that really honors the fan base, while still pushing the series forward. Time will tell.
Hopefully, they have really learned this time for good. If the next Halo game fails again...I can't even imagine what would be of Halo anymore.

The mark 4 is one of my favorite armors ever and I’m so glad it was done well in infinite. Can’t wait to see the battle pass reveal to see what armor pieces we will have to work with.
Mk IV is my FAVORITE Halo armor and it’s incredible to see in the flesh in a new game. So excited to see what comes next

Kinda hope when they make the playlists permanently available that's not the end of infinites updates. They should keep it going till the next games launch and use infinite to generate hype for the next game though in game events. I feel like infinite has only just started to come into its own and really be a great game.
Halo: The Endless really being slowly put together. Just glad more content is coming out to fit with the already overwhelming ammount of content there has been. I missed so much after taking a break.

Seasons are gone. Now, we'll only get a succession of operations and updates but no more seasons.

It's CU29, not Season 6. They're sunsetting Seasons.
I'm ngl man, this is pretty disappointing. No sandbox changes, weapons, or vehicles, and 1 4v4 dev map. I like everything that was announced, but I don't like that they announced so little.
I was expecting more, but seems like esch season we have less content.

I agree, but it’s here now. you can make the argument they lost player base and it’s hard to get that back but I don’t really consider halo three great because of the amount of people playing it. I never have trouble finding matches.
Whatever the next big halo game is, they have the opportunity to do it correctly. They could literally take everything from halo, infinite multiplayer and port it over and create some new maps and weapons and skins and a couple new game types and then give us a whole new campaign and you have it!

@@mokooifyTBF, that could be arranged in Forge, get out of there with low overshield, you pop out of the area shieldless, thus avoiding camping the edge of the area for unlimited shield.
@@user-xx7kl7sr6i Or essentially just make it extend your health bar. You already recharge health (or, well, shields) if you're below max and haven't taken damage for X amount of time, so just make it so that if you're in that state when you "gain the overshield", you're just naturally regenerating health. And if you're *not* in that state, then... you don't. Poking your head in mid-fight wouldn't increase your survivability whatsoever.
Honestly, part of me thinks they should just make that update to regular overshield, too. We have three pieces of power equipment, and overshield is the only one you can just pop in front of an enemy and still be meaningfully rewarded for it. If being shot at while it was overcharging your shields canceled the charge-up (thus giving you no additional shields), people wouldn't be nearly as bold with it.

I think the Operations have essentially replaced the old battle pass system at this point, though I certainly could be wrong. But this seems like a better bang for buck concerning individual unlocks and pass progression items. Again, I could be wrong and we could be getting a Season 6 battle pass come January 30th, but I don't think so. The SOF Operation will start Jan 30th and that should pretty much be considered the start of Season 6.

Idk why I always loved the Halo Wars armor but it's my favorite I'm glad that they finally added it in.
I am so excited for The Mark 4 armour because I love that Spartan armour mainly because of Halo Wars and Halo Wars 2
We need more enemy model variety like the one from halo reach, halo 4 halo 5 halo halo 2 and halo 3 for more variety for firefight and the bugger and a whole mk6 core also cross core customization
I think enemy model variety would be weird.
Art styles are way too different,. Plus a lot of the designs already borrow from the previous games.
If anything bringing the flood, drones, and/or ODSTs would help complete the sandbox.
But whats needed more than anything is more firefight maps on the official playlist.
This is why the halo fan base is slowly starting to become one of the worst fan bases in all of gaming. You’re literally asking for enemies to look different as if it makes any difference. Why does that matter? Literally why does it matter? Oh my God…..
And left-handed Jackals, even skirmishers. It was so unique for them in Halo CE -> Halo 3 Guess we cant change animation rigs for models in Forge?🤔 Wouldnt mind be able to SHOOT with my left and chug grenades with my right arm either😂

Really hope they keep Halo infinite as the definitive Halo multiplayer. I dont want to keep investing in multiplayer and starting over again and again.
Thing is there is no definitive halo multiplayer, infinite doesn't have enough content for that, it would need more maps, it's still missing some armor, guns, vehicles, better customization, etc

You know this feels like that scene from Star Wars revenge of the sith where emperor palpatine is announcing the galactic empire, and Padme says, "So this is how democracy dies, in thunderous applause" but change it to halo instead of democracy and you have this situation. The customisation is paid for there's battlepass, there's charms on guns the skins look disturbing something out of fortnight the armour is no longer being designed with lore in mind its all just quick cash grabs like oh that's shinny and utter garbage they'll eat this up because it's fortnight like battle royal skins and customisation. And from day 1, the store has worked perfectly it's never been broken it's always been in working order. Now, when the next halo game comes out and it's bad, we only have ourselves to blame for praising the new updates that should have been in the game since day 1 and saying yes halo is on the right track and it's better than ever and the content creators like mint and others not just him praising the game when things work covering the new updates and singing to the high heavens that halo is back. News flash guys halo has been better and is nothing more than a shadow of its former self. And if you're looking for examples as to how it was better, easy as (Halo 3 Halo 2 Halo ce halo reach halo 3 odst halo wars 1 halo wars 2) hell at this point even halo 4 is better than this. So please pull your heads out of your ass and make the right choice. Stop playing this game as it makes 343 think they can get away with this again, and they will do it again because you're letting them.

I’d just like firefight to be expanded upon and made into its own proper expansive menu rather than a multiplayer playlist. I understand this is unlikely but I think Halo Infinite has great PvE gameplay and it’d be a shame to not capture it before it’s time is gone.
Earlier today I was thinking about how great it would be to have the Mk IV in Infinite, and low and behold!

I really hope that they do a full single player Halo next and keep infinite for more years. We need... WE DESERVE a Halo 3 ODST campaign experience to compensate for Infinite´s campaign, but Infinite´s multiplayer is getting to a almost perfect shape and the best multiplayer experience from a Halo game in a long time, it would be a shame to drop that multiplayer in 2-3 years
The mk 4 armor core might be the only core that I’ll use on default styles
At this point I think there's a decent variety of customization & maps. They need New Modes & Weapons desperately to shake up the gameplay. I haven't seen any weapons leaked that are not power weapons, which is also concerning. That's what we need most are new common weapon pickups.
I don't mind if they introduce a new game. But, I wish they did it so that our cosmetics (be it purchased or earned in-game) would transfer over.
imo, its just a hat. and its a really old one, too. im really disappointed that they couldnt even show a weapon or a vehicle. its clear that the content drought isnt ending any time soon. but i guess ranked is better now? if anyone cares..
they should just put something out for the casual fans and we'll eat it up

yeah same deal with Battlefield 2042 and other live service games. They get a bit more inconsistent with updates in favor of developing a new game until they suddenly drop support for the game.

@@Fire343iI mean it is technically time to move on to the next game anyway. Most games, Halo 3 and Reach included, had like a 3 year life cycle. The "ten year plan" was never really a thing, and was only stated by one guy two years before Infinite came out, who left 343 before Infinite even released.

Once again commenting, Might not be your style of video but two ideas for you (maybe as little background clips even):
1. Finish getting the last 4 multiplayer medals you are missing! I don't know of anyone who has all Halo Infinite medals. I am wondering if power out is possible without cheesing...
2. What's the most medals you can get in a single action? (E.G If I beat someone with a flag that is also holding a flag, I could get Jousting, a killing spree, a kill joy, a multikill if it's after a different kill, goal line stand, etc. etc... What is the most you can do in one action?)
Cross core came to Halo Reach before Infinite... oh wait, it didn't have cores that only existed to monetize the game...
I personally think that what was shown in the stream was amazing. My biggest problem is the lack of sandbox changes. Maybe we'll get a trailer or dev blog, but I'm not expecting much. I went from 5 to infinite in the hopes of getting a fresh experience in fiesta and super fiesta, but I might just end up going back. idk, I'll just have to wait and see.

Hearing about the possibility to earn missed content via an Exchange system would be a great move. I’m so tired of seeing so many locked options in my inventory and I really don’t want to spend real money on it. Hardly matters to me if it’s a grind, I just want some incentive to actually play on my own terms.

I agree with most of that except for dual wielding. It just creates unnecessary problems to solve when balancing weapons and causes some of them to be either completely useless or completely busted. I'd rather have a balancable sandbox than dual wielding for the cool factor.

Can we please, as a community, ask 343 to bring back projectile bullets for the BR (and DMR, maybe pistol) and perhaps add projectile bullets for sniping? Although I'm fine if it's just for the BR.
I miss leading shots from Halo 3. And of course, hopefully without any desync.
In infinite, especially in big team naps, I always feel like I'm getting sniped by battle rifles since it's easy to shoot people across the map. It was significantly harder in H3.
I don't know how everyone else feels about this.. but I would be a lot more excited for a halo game that has projectile shooting (if that's what it's called).

Let, you guys keep giving them money and playing them. Imagine for one moment, another awful AAA game came out and we all said, 'No more, finish your game' and didn't play it. Forcing the devs and publish to put the game back into development. What a wonderful world that would be.
This game deserves to be the main focus for a couple more years. All a new Halo game will do is release with less content than Infinite currently has and likely provide no meaningful upgrade/change, splitting the player counts. Unless the next game is Halo Wars 3, then by all means, go right ahead 🔥
