This is by far the best windsurfing vidéo production I have ever seen !!! The drone footage is simply incredible , the montage of the different gopro is perfect and the story is totaly entertaining ! Kudo Paul and thank you , this is my perfect xmas gift ! Many pros should hook up with you to make their promo or brand promo videos.
It's a very basic production but it's easier for me to make a video like this without all the gadgets you need for a professional video. And yes I'm happy for a pro windsurfer to contact me so we can film Cloudbreak properly. 😍
The thing I LOVE about this footage is that it is raw and pure, not messed up with a music soundtrack, just the pure sounds of the wind and the board smacking the water. I feel I’m truly out windsurfing with Anton, not watching a glamourised windsurfing DVD. Fantastic work. PLEASE keep making more of these, as they inspire us all to love this great sport even more.
This footage is so fresh, I can't stop watching it. I'm loving the real world sounds on landings. It's the middle of the winter here in the UK and dark by 4.30pm after work & now I'm gagging to get on the water, It's killing me!! Send this to the big windsurfing companies and they'd be stupid not to employ you as a freelance film maker for their promos. KEEP THEM COMING PAUL!

Very enjoyable. Clearly an expert windsurfer experimenting. Good to see the crashes, and particularly liked the section at 36minutes where Anton crashes gybing on a wave but then waterstarts just in time to catch the following wave. Thankyou
I was in Geraldton for the winter 25 years ago. Used to be a dirt track down to Coronation beach and there was nothing there. We just used to camp out for a couple of days and then head back into town for the all you can eat night at Pizza Hut. This is bringing back some memories. Great stuff.

@@rowingocean It's all about timing with what the wave is doing, try not to spend much time in front of wave in the flat area, use the wave face to generate speed, reach down the boom very far, sheet out more than you think.

I don't think anyone else is making videos like this, or? Pure gold. The drone footage is unreal, and the extra effort for the sounds effects is super cool. That is some super sweet windsurfing too. Anton is a very talented guy for sure. Oh and that game is available on Steam. I had to interrupt the video just to give it a go. Super cheap 🤣

What a great job. "Pro editors" take note. This transports you to the location. By not over working the edit and relying on solid footage. Lots to keep you entertained when you follow Anton. So missing Corros.
Paul, echoing the other comments ... yet another superb video. Not just the drone skills in high wind, but your post-production editing and the personal interviewing is top of the line. The iqFoil races on Silvaplana (and the PWA races) could benefit from your skills. And Anton's gybe and tack transitions are so smooth.
Mate, this is absolutely primo footage!! Some of the best I've seen......Looks like an amazing place to sail too, its got everything. Also have to mention the skillset here too, love those backwinded tacks!!!!
Again a great vid. Nice relaxed vibe and awesome action on a beautifull spot. Fantastic use of the drone, as always. Had mever heard of Anton Pain but he surfs like a pro. Just saw a vid from january this year with Anton using that same yellow Goya 4.7 sail. It looked almost new in January and 11 months later it looks completely battered and worn . He sure uses his equipment quite intensively !

@@windsurfer you should definitely give it a go to Samoa. We're a bit close to equator and still influenced by doldrums some years, but when trade winds are settled it's awesome...cheers
@@windsurfer Awesome indeed and still very pristine environment & lonely on the water. You can discover your own spots whether inside or outside lagoon. In between, it's all reef break and shallow. If you're ready to pay the price in case of fall, well worth it.

I remember hiring gear from that house for sale when it was “Sail West”. Great spot, hired gear for a week and walked it over to Point Moore for a sail. Great spot, but in my eagerness to get out didn’t attach the mast foot fully and it popped out whilst out the back of Pt. Moore (while drifting towards Hells Gate). Thankfully got it all back together and sailed back in. Ended up sailing more at George’s Beach and Coronation Beach thereafter. I still think Pt. Moore is an awesome spot though.
Hey Paul, the video clip is simply fantastic. The drone shots are simply unbelievable and I especially like the fact that you don't have music in the background. It also explained why... I've checked out all your video clips in the meantime, it fits just fine, unfortunately I have a two-month forced break from surfing after an operation. The videos help there... just a paradise where you live and I always thought here on the Baltic Sea is paradise haha, especially in winter the conditions are great, but the temperatures are always pretty hard .I hope I can make it to Australia. The ambergris guy was still worth keeping, he was quite a character. I was blown away by Anton's tacks. Also I really liked what I assume was the sound that you kept from the drone. It sounded a little tweaked, or was it served au naturel?

Ohhh no way. When I went to Corro (in the 90’s), it was a dirt track (not graded either). Good to see they did something about it, cause it was rough in a Ford Fiesta hire car

Amazing sailing by Anton Pain. Regarding the drone, I thought they couldn't handle winds that would require a 3.7m² sail. Any drone tips for dealing with high wind?
I have the Mavic 2 and it flies pretty well in 30-35 kts. As for tips on flying a drone in strong wind make sure you have a safe place to launch & land. Make sure you have enough battery to return home. Other than that it's pretty straight forward.

I remember hiring gear from that house for sale when it was “Sail West”. Great spot, hired gear for a week and walked it over to Point Moore for a sail. Great spot, but in my eagerness to get out didn’t attach the mast foot fully and it popped out whilst out the back of Pt. Moore (while drifting towards Hells Gate). Thankfully got it all back together and sailed back in. Ended up sailing more at George’s Beach and Coronation Beach thereafter. I still think Pt. Moore is an awesome spot though.
Ha Glen I’ve done that before too. It’s actually really hard to reconnect the sail and board when you’re drifting around in waves and wind.

the video clip is simply fantastic. The drone shots are simply unbelievable and I especially like the fact that you don't have music in the background. It also explained why... I've checked out all your video clips in the meantime, it fits just fine, unfortunately I have a two-month forced break from surfing after an operation. The videos help there... just a paradise where you live and I always thought here on the Baltic Sea is paradise haha, especially in winter the conditions are great, but the temperatures are always pretty hard .I hope I can make it to Australia.

The ambergris guy was still worth keeping, he was quite a character. I was blown away by Anton's tacks. Also I really liked what I assume was the sound that you kept from the drone. It sounded a little tweaked, or was it served au naturel?

Amazing sailing by Anton Pain. Regarding the drone, I thought they couldn't handle winds that would require a 3.7m² sail. Any drone tips for dealing with high wind?
I have the Mavic 2 and it flies pretty well in 30-35 kts. As for tips on flying a drone in strong wind make sure you have a safe place to launch & land. Make sure you have enough battery to return home. Other than that it's pretty straight forward.
