Thank you. This was very therapeutic experience. You see, I've been having huge block in the vein of creativity, and been having very judgemental black-and-white -thoughts. I decided to put myself into a test: I sat down, selected a texture and layering video randomly and your's came first. From the start I argued heavily and disagreed your actions during the whole video through. _"No you can't do _*_that_*_ !"_ or _"Ma'am you're doing it all wrong!"_ While watching I realized _I am tying my talent down with my negativity and blocking the inspiration out myself_ ! So, I'm amazed, after all layering and coloring and mixing the result really pleases my eye. It's very harmonic andd has many textures I like to use too. And after clearing out all the emotions, I feel refreshed and the inspiration vein is a bit opened already. Thank you so much for sharing such amazing video, it's informative and _very_ therapeutic!
Detailed and inspirational! I realize it's been a bit of time zone this was posted, but the link to Donna Downey's blog gives a 404 error msg. I hope it's just a broken link. I'd love the list of supplies. TFS

Beautiful!!! Did you use clear Gesso or White in the beginning of the video?? (I see you used white afterwards as highlights) Thank you :)
White gesso
What did you use to seal it with the pastels when done?
I set it with a fixative and then use a spray clear acrylic sealer. Both are by krylon
❤️🇳🇱
I tried to make a similar picture...epic fail.
