Trust the process. Process/journey of living and dying. There is so much to learn and appreciate even as we accompany a loved one through our last journey with them. This week, after a long illness my mom went on her journey to be with God and loved ones.
Noticed this was 4 yrs ago!! Blessing to you. Great work! I’ve been painting for over 30 yrs and multi media is new for me. I have been more realistic but using both together is so much fun!!
I love this process. And I noticed on the top section there is a butterfly, and on the bottom section there is a dove. These images were not necessarily intentional, but are so inspirational to me!
OH MY GOSH! I so needed this today - both watching you work and seeing the stunning piece that emerged. Even more the reminder that we're all on a journey, that the paths we take may be similar at times and very different at other times, yet always uniquely contributing to our specific needs. That when it appears dark to appreciate that this is just a moment, one of many - and to keep moving, to keep layering. Although this video was made 3 years ago, your message is timeless and I am SO grateful that today, the Universe told me I needed to hear what I once knew but had forgotten. Why do you mix all your acrylic paint with gesso before you apply it on board? I really like your process and the finished piece ...When you paint, that looks so simple so natural!
I use Matte medium or matte gel. In this video I used Deco Art matte medium, most often I use Liquitex matte medium and Liquitex matte gel for heavier objects or paper. Thanks for watching!
