i just find your video today when i am doing research on anime-export. I am glad that you mention it, i will start order from there. it seems like they have a reasonable price. thanks. Keep up the good works!!
Very good video and tutorial. If you are not in the US (like me), courier shipping FEDEX, DHL, UPS, could be very expensive and without SAL or EMS is too expensive to buy from the sites that you listed. I think you forgot Amazon Japan, which is very good, fast and has shipping to a lot of countries
It really hurts that SAL is still not available as a shipping option from Japan. The lack of SAL on top of the bump in EMS rates compared to pre-pandemic rates has really kept me from importing a lot of stuff from Japan since the pandemic kicked off. As someone who lives in the US, it seems more economical in most cases to buy from outlets like BBTS and the like instead (for items that are officially distributed and not just imported by domestic vendors themselves at a markup).
@@DiegoDoom SAL was a great option for small orders. If all you were ordering at a given time was a single SH Figuarts or a couple of cheap Gunpla kits, the cost of SAL shipping could easily be less than half of the EMS rate. The savings in shipping costs could really add up over time. The trade-off was that orders could take anywhere from two weeks to as much as four or five weeks in some cases before landing on your doorstep.
HLJ and Mandarake are definitely top tier! I would like to give a shout out to Okini Land, they've come in clutch for me with some Ultraman and Kamen Rider SHFs.
Hello my friend! How are you? I really like your reviews and your collection, I'm a fan of basically all Godzilla, Ultraman related products. I'm from Brazil, and when it comes to action figures, the problem here is the prices, much more because of the issues of taxing the products. Could these websites be used to try to buy at a good price?🙂
I just ordered off Anime Export for the first time based in feedback from this video. I notice when you pay for a pre-order, the page updates to SOLD OUT right away after that. Is that normal? It will not allow you to purchase a preorder more then once?
Yup. They will set a limit on how many products you can order per household. I was able to preorder two SHMA Gamera Rebirth figures but only one Carborix Mazinkaiser
I'm actually looking to get a X-Plus Godzilla figure that doesn't seem to be in the market at the moment. Any tip on finding one that doesn't cost me half my lung?
@@DiegoDoom Not the greatest with X-Plus terminology, but I believe it's call 1968 large monster series. Though I don't mind any suit design from 1968-1972
Really good video, but please invest in a pop filter for your microphone. You can get one for like, $10 off Amazon. Every time you breathe into the mic it's really really loud.
I almost used mandarake, mandarake nhave almost everything even a rare figure can get in tehre with reasonable price. Loh how i can get Super action status ruby rose in there with reasonable price around 4000 Yen with never been reissued
I love amiami but yeah their shipping prices are sometimes ridiculous. One time I made the mistake of combining 4 figures in 1 package and the total came out to be over 1k instead of 700 dollars. 🥲 🤌
You make "absolutely fantastic" sound epic everytime!
Thank you!
He’s got a great voice!!
Yeah!! It's funny cuz I didn't know what you ment at first until he said it!
More like he makes it sound ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC
Thanks for the shout out, James! I didn't know that Anime Export has Tamashii Web exclusives. Absolutely Fantastic info!
Thanks Darryl
This video just convinced to order from anime export for the first time rly wanted the new sh figuarts and thanks to your video I was able to get it

Fantastic video! Thank you for making this easy to understand.

Dude thank you! This helps a lot. Make some more videos like this!

Excellent content my man!
Thanks for watching and thanks for the support!
Another amazing video I can't wait to see the Voltron review 😋
Thanks for watching and thanks for the support! Hopefully I can finish the Voltron review by this weekend
Is Hobby Genki reliable for pre-orders? I was thinking of buying the Revoltech spiderman2.0
Absolutely! I use them as well
Awesome list and advice! I hope people use this!!!
Thanks!
Thank you for the video. I think I might use a website for Figuarts Venom and Carnage
Very informative video and helpful for new collectors and those unaware. A++

I have never used SAL before. I didn’t know they bumped up EMS rates.

Wait is this a face reveal video as well or am I missing out😅 also I love this video and all your reviews! Really helps me choose to buy it or not
I did a face reveal a long time ago. I’m glad you enjoyed my reviews and they helped you
Prices aside, another thing that makes Mandrake so great is the fact that you don't have to worry about the figures being bootlegs.
HLJ and Mandarake are definitely top tier! I would like to give a shout out to Okini Land, they've come in clutch for me with some Ultraman and Kamen Rider SHFs.
I will have to check them out
thank you so much!
You're welcome!

@@DiegoDoom Ah okay cool thanks
Hi again I just ordered a figure off mandrake can you give me an estimate on how the shipping is internationally?
If you ordered a figure, they will give you an estimate based on the shipping method you chose. Check their FAQ page.
Amiami is really bad nowadays. Their customer service would ban you if you make requests for QC issues.
Hey can you please tell that if we buy from zenmarket from india will we have to pay the shipping charges of zenmarket and the import charges of dhl

What X-Plus are you looking for?
@@DiegoDoom Not the greatest with X-Plus terminology, but I believe it's call 1968 large monster series. Though I don't mind any suit design from 1968-1972
is there one website that is better for shipping costs than others? I live in Canada.

Thanks for watching and thanks for the support. Lol, yup I have one, but it’s kind of big. I was too close to my mic.
Hi quick question! On mandarake if it doesn’t show the figure out of the box does that mean it’s brand new or could be a potential scam?
They list the condition of the figure in the description
@@DiegoDoom ohh ok just Clarifying for my parents, thank you!
ok, mandrake is amazing
BRO ITS LIKE A DREAM COME TRUE!
i love you man
does shipping on mandrake usually take 4 month's to happen?
Unless you picked Sal shipping
Does hobby link japan ship to the uk
is A-A rank in anime-exports means "japanese used" ?
I would've suggested Hobbysearch but they recently started charging state tax on US orders, so that's a dealbreaker.
Wow, really. I have never used Hobby Search, but I have seen good reviews on them.
Hai diegodoom can you tell me site or place to find SHFiguarts Monster from ultra series
The sites I just mentioned in this video
How much time does it take for anime export to arrive it has been 5 days and I ordered the 5 day one
What shipping method did you use?
@@DiegoDoom the 4 to 5 days one I think I payed 1260 yen
@@DiegoDoom Japan post
I have never used Japan Post. I always use the fast DHL option. They may be slower
@@DiegoDoom it will arrive or like i just wasted my money?
I almost used mandarake, mandarake nhave almost everything even a rare figure can get in tehre with reasonable price.

jesus anime export has all monsterarts sold out
even pre orders
What about china??
What about China?
ZenMarket all expensive man.
Is Amiami still good to use this time around?
I love amiami but yeah their shipping prices are sometimes ridiculous. One time I made the mistake of combining 4 figures in 1 package and the total came out to be over 1k instead of 700 dollars. 🥲 🤌
I have no clue why they are fudging the shipping costs now. They don’t even pack the figures differently whatsoever.
