A theory: $1,500 is the “I don’t want to sell it” price. They’re really just filling the shelves and showing off their collection. If someone’s crazy enough to buy it…the sell it and make bank.
@@brotatochap_7563 I’m sure theyve done their math to be open for an extended duration, enough of the buyer base will pay extra for convenience of authenticity and in your hands then & there for you to assess its pristine quality with your own eyes. Not to say there aren’t highly reputable sellers on eBay who are trustworthy, but some people will see something in person that will catch their eye and then they wanna pursue it.
On the other hand, when you buy it in a store, you don't run the risk of having it destroyed during packing or delivery, or stolen from your front door.

My mom made good money and now and then she would take me and my brother to toy stores and buy us toys. It was so magical just looking at all the different toys and trying to decide which ones i wanted. Thank you forever, mom!

Could you do a video with nothing but your whole collection and describe them and which ones are your absolute favorites? Keep the videos coming!

I'd like to see their faces when someone walks in, buys a figure for fifty dollars only to have the customer turn around and say "Oh by the way, you do realize this figure I just bought is actually 1,500 dollars on the official anime website, right?" then just walks out.
Oddly enough, you can actually find "Dragon Ball Z" figures at your local Wal-Mart now. I know it sounds cheesy, but a true fan collector would buy those as well. They maybe be Wal-Mart, but that means that most collectors will pass them up, meaning you'll have something later that most won't have 🤷♂️

Dragon Ball is ok, but if you want to collect toys that constantly go up in value, buy Transformers. I don’t mean the Michael Bay crap either. I mean G1, G2 and the ‘86 line.
I don't care about value honestly, never plan on selling in my life time, plus Dragon Ball has been my favorite for over 20 years now, so it's just all love with DBZ!
@@JebusBallZ Couldn't agree more, Tenkaichi 3 was amazing. I also love DBZ Hyper Dimension for Super Famicom and Dragon Ball Legends for PS1. There's a whole world of amazing Dragon Ball video games that people don't even know about because they never made it to the US market.
