- Alcohol ink art tutorial - in real time.
Made this little piece with copic cool grey and shadow pink. I think this color combination is kind of elegant looking.... And... I need to use these more I think.
Wanted to create something wispy and soft and then of course topping it of with some amazing piñata brass.
There is no talking in this tutorial but the video is "real time" because I know a lot of you like that - and I do think it's easier to learn and pick up on the little details when it's not speeded up.
I hope you will enjoy this little video. I have a few more alcohol ink tutorials coming up before Christmas arrives.

I left links for you guys in the description box 😊 also for the new fine line applicators from Amazon 👍
Very elegant . . .sublime even. Loved the way you coaxed the creation into being.
Thank you very much ❤️
Beautiful. Love how you moved the pinata brass!
Thank you 😊
Love the color combo! pretty 😊
Thank you 😀
Thanks, love your videos. I'm going to start making ink paintings with my 7 year old daughter and your vids make me feel like I know a lot before even starting.
Thanks and you’re welcome 😉 don’t forget about safety - inks have toxic fumes - not kid friendly
@@randihart5731 what do you suggest for that? Masks? Fans or AC? Maybe I should get some painters masks. I thought the alcohol was more of a danger
I honestly don’t think I would recommend using this with children 😕 even for grownups I suggest wearing a respirator with filters that can handle toxic fumes, nitrile gloves, a ventilated room that you can keep closed of from the rest of your house and open windows
Alcohol ink has isopropyl in them
@@randihart5731 ok sounds too unsafe. I'm going to do this by myself and get a respirator
I think that’s smart 👍
Hi, I have spent the whole morning trying to find alternatives to Krylon Kamar spray and Krylon UV resistant spray which is becoming harder and harder to source. Every other product seems to interact in some way. What do you use? Apparently, those products are not even available i.e. NORWAY so what do people use? I thought you would be a good person to ask. Cheers, Denise
Hi Denise. Sadly most newbies are told that kamar is the only varnish you can use, NOT true. My favorite is Molotow one4all UV protection varnish. There are many others that work well with ink.
I actually made a video on varnishing alcohol ink.

Hope it helps
Thank you SO much. I have found molotow in a art business and have purchased some. So grateful.
You are very welcome 🤗
@@randihart5731 Well, I've tried the Molotow and it is wonderful! and saves me money! I can't thank you enough.
You’re very very welcome 😊 🤩 molotow is the BEST
