My wife and I were on this cruise and ran into Jeb and Suzanne (and I fan girled pretty hard). They are as nice in person as they are in their videos! Another amazing video
Jeb! It was so great to meet you on this trip; watching this video is bringing back so many great memories! The girls and I had so much fun exploring Alaska for the first time. Hope to see you on another cruise!
You're the best! We really had fun meeting you, too! Unfortunately your email address bounced back. Shoot me another message if you get a chance. Thanks again!!
May and September are the least expensive times to go on an Alaska cruise. Also, cruises which have different embarkation and debarkation ports are less expensive than a round trip Alaska cruise.
What a great video. I’ve done a lot of traveling in my 64 years. Never been on a cruise and never had any desire to go on one. Until now. I’ve been binging on your channel for a little over a month now and enjoying the vicarious journeys I most likely will never make. This one hit home. I was born in Vancouver and grew up in San Francisco. This trip just made it to my bucket list. Thank you for all you do.
I love your channel and the entertainment that you provide. I have to say though that this is by far my favorite video that you have posted. You have taken us on a journey at sea. Your Deep Dive into all that is available on the cruise was incredible. Thank you for this. I just wish the video was longer.
@@GreenerGrass Something i've personally noticed is that your videos seem a slight bit fast. I don't know if the two of you just talk faster than other people I watch but some of the scenes where you described the food or showed the menu I have to slow it down to .75 speed in order to see everything. I also noticed during the scene where you showed the room and the details of it a video speed closer to .8 or 80% speed was perfect for really hearing everything and understanding it. I love your videos and its great seeing how enthusiastic you are about your trips :) . Also I personally love seeing the food shown on videos like this so I would like to hear more about your thoughts on the food for example at 17:30 you mention the platter looked nice but didn't really talk about what parts of it you really enjoyed. Are there certain parts of the platter that either of you enjoy more? What items do they give on the platter? Food recommendations for big cruises are always great for those looking to go on a similar voyage.
As soon as I saw this video I was so excited to watch, love your videos Jeb I’m kinda a quiet watcher but always give you a thumbs up on every vid. Learnt a lot since being here and enjoy every detail and the way you style your content. Awesome. All the best Ben.
Very much like Viking cruise Inside Passage. Similar ship sizes, staterooms. Service seems comparable, too. We love Viking’s quiet ships, no kids and no casino.I always view Jeb’s videos…always well done.
We absolutely loved SliverSeas Nova... I never ever wanted to go on a cruise ship, but this ship is amazing with a lower number of passengers. Every place, every restaurant, tea time, the suite, the butler...everything and everyone was so kind and we felt like royalty! I would go again tomorrow!! Alaska is so beautiful!!
You guys have to be the happiest people in the world and seem to be a matched pair! Thank you for helping me start a bucket list, even though at 71 I'll never be able to afford it.
Thank you for your productions which are informative and entertaining. My wife and I fulfilled a dream by taking a cruise to southern Alaska from Seattle just last year and for eight days. The scenery was beyond magnificent. It was GLORIOUS!!
Cruise ideas - I love the Canadian Maritime Provinces having visited PEI, NS, NB, and Newfoundland multiple times. I'm normally not a huge fan of cruises as the best vacations I've had involve wandering and open schedules, but the scenery and wildlife of that part of Canada would make a great trip. Love to see Jeb cover that part of Canada. Parents recently did a Rhine River cruise and came back raving about that. On this channel, I'd love to see Jeb do more railroad trips. There are so many scenic lines worldwide that it makes it worth watching!
@cartermacewen3086 I love that island. Been visiting there off and on since the bridge opened in 1997. Beautiful scenery, wonderful people, and I love the North Atlantic fishing. Best place to unwind and relax.
Right? Sometimes when I settle in to sleep around 9 or 9:30 - or some days even 8:30, I don't feel like a 40 year old but someone much older for some reason. 😂 But yay! There are apparently lots of others like me! I just like waking up VERY early. The world feels more.. serene at 4 in the morning to me.
1) I think this is one of the best edited videos I’ve seen you guys put out - congrats!! 2) We were about 5 days behind you (on the NCL Jewel). What a memorable experience. Love Alaska!
I would add to the packing, that if you are going in the summer months, take some clothes for warm weather also. We only took the layers at the end of June and had mostly warm sunny days. Shorts would have been nice.
Your videos are so important to me ‘cause it’s the only way I can enjoy a cruise. Motion sickness is my problem. I love your videos. Keep them coming!!!!!❤
Jeb, your tour of the ship, the food choices and excursion info are fantastic. I don't think the cruise line could do better. You really get an idea of what the ship and all it's services are all about. Thanks for taking us along in your cruise. And I hope we get to see a longer White Pass RR video at some point. :)
I have been on an Alaskan cruise twice (and enjoyed it). I recommend doing a Mediterranean Cruise and a Nordic/Scandinavian Cruise. One of my favourite cruises (it was my most recent) was a trip that started in London and ended in Lisbon (essentially a Bay of Biscay cruise).
Holy moly what a beautiful cruise! I've only cruised once and the experience was meh, this makes me want to try again. Love your other videos but its also great to see different types of content!
Alaskan Cruise is definitely on my bucket list. Thanks for sharing this awesome cruise video. You two are perfect together so much fun watching you both.
This was a natural progression: from planes to liners and believe me, you picked one of the very best. Silversea has the reputation, not only for their ships, but their staff on shore handling bookings and travel arrangement are excellent. Hi guys, what a lovely surprise to see you having a slower speed trip and what a treat. My spouse and I were fortunate to do two cruises with the company: BA to Barbados along the Brazilian coast and their Antarctic cruise. I hope your video will really encourage others to take the plunge.....I doubt anyone would not love the journey, the food, the scenes and their wonderful staff. Another top story! Cheers
I use to live in Anchorage Alaska. And got to see a lot of Alaska's beauty. I'm back in Greensboro now, I miss Alaska. I would love to go back to take this cruise, it looks amazing! Thanks for sharing with us Jeb!
Great video! I didn't notice a link to book a cruise with Silverseas. Would love for you to get recognition for sharing. Sounds like there may be a cruise in my future 🎉. Thx for all your detailed videos. They're truly helpful ❤
Looks incredible; reminds me of my Alaska cruise last year. If you ever do this again I recommend going on a Holland America or Princess itinerary that goes to Glacier Bay National Park (few other cruise lines do). Imagine Hubbard Glacier, but multiplied a few times.
That is true Alaska and Holland are the only ones who have permits for the glaciers. In truth the cruise lines actually have the waters all carved out ,
Recently retired at 76 and moved from TX to CO. I never had (or took) the time to travel. Your travels are allowing me to see the world as I would have liked to! Thanks for the high quality, great photography, information! The SilverSea AK cruise, your Australia trip and the many train adventures in north central and northwest US have been such a pleasure. Keep up the great work!
I loved watching this video! An Alaska cruise is on my bucket list. Going on a more luxurious ship like the Silversea would probably be right up my alley. I loved how you went over everything on the ship. I too think the excursions off the ship would be the best thing.
Jeb and Suzanne awesome video!! The Alaska videos have been such a fun watch. Love the silly room tour. You guys should do the other silversea cruise to Japan!
I LOVED this video! This is definitely a trip my husband and I will take. Watching you two on these trips really helps us save time and money because you are showing us all of our choices. Thank you for demystifying it all for us! I got sad when I didn't see Suzanne in one of your videos once. Keep her in ALL of them! You two are great!
You should come to Hamilton, ON, visit the warplane museum and book a flight on the Lancaster. It's one of only two in the world that fly and it would be a cool video! Plus, it would be cool to have you in my hometown!
Great video. I’ve been cruising for over 40 years and for two people who say that they don’t know what they’re doing on a cruise you chose very well. Alaska is one of the most beautiful places in all of the world. I did my first cruise to Alaska in 2010 and you renewed my interest with this new ship. I recommend Fiji/Tahiti, Antartica, the Arctic Circle, and the Norwegian Fiords.
Love this video. We did an Inside Passage cruise with 3 other couples a few years back and this was the best time we have ever had. The highlight was at Hoonah (Icy Strait) where we had a cooking class with fresh crab, halibut and salmon. All I needed was wasabi but they didn't have it. Also did the Zipline which is supposed to be the longest in North America. Keep up your videos. Love you two.
Wow, I think that's good value. You get so much for all you get, food, drinks etc. What a great experience, you looked like you were really enjoying it.
An Alaskan cruise how awesome! And you got a train excursion and some hiking. Just an all around great adventure! I've never cruised before but this would be my choice. It's all about the scenic views. First class accomodations! Great job thanks for taking us along!
Wow - what an absolutely stunning experience. As someone who hasn't really tried the 'luxury end' of the cruise market, I found so much of this video fascinating - thanks for taking us with you!
Jeb and Suzanne - Always great videos, binge watching everything. This is one of my favorites because my wife and did an amazing two-week trip in Alaska (rail and car) and it was the adventure of our lives. I really enjoy your destination videos and train trips (Peru was awesome), Queen Mary crossing is my all-time favorite (watched four times). Would love to see a cruise in Greek Isles. Excellent quality on videos. Keep it up.
When you comeback to Alaska I suggest riding the White Pass & Yukon Railroad again. The railroad goes much farther than the short excursion you did and it is loaded with history and scenery!
10:42 40f to 49f = 4.4c to 9.4c burr you made me feel chilly at -7c! LOVE the exterior painting the ship, the light hull with that light grey strip - very cool looking, classic ship inside and out. Another GREAT video, love you BOTH ❤
Wow this looked like so much fun and OMG all inclusive food I'm going !! Luved your video thank you for posting ❤❤❤❤❤ Wess from Canada ( formerly Vancouver bc )
Welcome to the world of cruising, so glad that you enjoyed the experience. My first cruise was also to Alaska, about fifteen years ago. Next up for me: a month cruising around the South Pacific this fall.
I’d say one of its the genuinely most happy trips I’ve ever seen you guys take it I’m very happy for that. The cruise look phenomenal top shelf everything and I’m really happy you guys got to enjoy that with each other. Long time water sometimes kind of mentor as we have before a Jeb. This one made me happy to see you guys truly enjoy one another in the luxury, cheers you too
@@GreenerGrass Thanks Jeb. Spoke to the wife, about your cruise. We’re both very intrigued, especially that everything onboard is included, as well has a free excursion, in every port you arrive in. Those glaciers are something else. It’s going to be a little different this cruise, as now I’m disabled, still walk but not has good anymore.
I was one of the first passengers as Silver Nova made its first cruise in August 2023 from Rome-Civitavecchia to Monaco. I really enjoyed it; it's a beautiful ship.
This was great! I've seen several videos about Silver Nova from cruise youtubers, but your take on it was quite refreshing because it came at the experience from a slightly different angle. Great footage, too.
Great video and I love how Jeb and Suzanne share the presentation. The whole cruise looked amazing and I think that's a very good price for 7 days. The room looked very stylish, wonderful food and of course stunning scenery.
Hi Jeb & Suzanne, Thank you for your excellent video of your Alaskan cruise 🚢. This is one of the most beautiful cruises I’ve ever seen. Our friends are going on this cruise in September I believe. As usual you are both so friendly and knowledgeable and I always lose 10 points from my blood pressure when I watch your video features. Best Wishes, Peter
Awesome video you two, great ship and great cruise indeed!! I love the "24 hour" bit, that was super fun! And, Susan in the closet was hilarious!! lol I think you might have ruined yourselves for cruising though, that has to be the Top of the heap, as far as cruising goes. Thanks yall!!
I really enjoy the more intimate atmosphere of smaller cruises! Your cruise review is helpful as we think to embark on this adventure. I appreciate it! Cheers!😀🙂
I love watching you! I’m sure I’m late to the party, but Suzanne sounds just like Jenna Fischer. I hear Pam Beasley when she speaks. As a huge “Office” fan, it’s pretty awesome.
I did the entire trip, but the other way around with Royal Caribbean's, "Radiance of the Seas." It was by far the best vacation I have ever been on. Each city felt so different from the others and there were so many unique activities to do (we went salmon fishing in Ketchikan, dog sledding in Skagway.) Glad to see you had a good time!
My wife and I did the same trip in reverse on the sister ship Silver Muse. It was our first cruise as well and I don't think it will be our last! You two had much of the same experiences that we had. I really liked cooking my own steak! I'm glad you didn't try the tandem kayak excursion. That is a real marriage tester! Keep it up with the videos!
I recommend the transpacific route from japan to alaska when its repositiong in the spring time. You get to japan early to see all the beautiful cherry blossoms and leave from tokyo, going north to visit hokkaido which is magnificent. I loved that some of the ports in hokkaido were just average cities without tourist destinations, and while the week at sea was a little bit long, it was very unique to have it snowing at sea for us! Myself and the crew were all having a great time with the light snowfalls that happened on the sea days, and again in whittier it snowed quite magically during an outing to see the glaciers. Seeing alaska as one of the first ships into the area for the season was also wonderful, the weather was still crisp and the towns didn't seem worn out yet. I stayed on all the way down to vancouver again, and I would do this trip EVERY year if I could get the time off for a month!
My wife and I were on this cruise and ran into Jeb and Suzanne (and I fan girled pretty hard). They are as nice in person as they are in their videos! Another amazing video
Thanks so much for saying hello!
Now I want to start going on luxery trips. Not for the trip itself, but to meet Jeb and Suzanne!
Really great

I expected this to be way more expensive, actually seems like surprisingly good value for money for a luxury cruise.
When is it?
@@The_person-1195You mean where they say the price? That would be 22:52
May and September are the least expensive times to go on an Alaska cruise. Also, cruises which have different embarkation and debarkation ports are less expensive than a round trip Alaska cruise.
Agreed! I was expecting $8k PP
I’m guessing the price is in US dollars?

Great video and I love how Jeb and Suzanne share the presentation. The whole cruise looked amazing and I think that's a very good price for 7 days. The room looked very stylish, wonderful food and of course stunning scenery.
Thank you!
This was an extremely well-made video! Very professional. We are taking this cruise in May 2025 and this was very helpful. Thank you!
Wow, thank you, glad it was helpful. Hope you’ll have a wonderful trip!
My wife and I are thinking about an Alaskan cruise. This was very informative and promising. Thank You Guys!
Hi Jeb & Suzanne,
Thank you for your excellent video of your Alaskan cruise 🚢. This is one of the most beautiful cruises I’ve ever seen. Our friends are going on this cruise in September I believe.
As usual you are both so friendly and knowledgeable and I always lose 10 points from my blood pressure when I watch your video features.
Best Wishes,
Peter
Thanks for joining us!
As always Thank you! Great video and Silversea looks the way to go!
Was thinking for a long time that Cruise Ships would be right up your alley with how you do these videos. Awesome video Jeb!
Love the outtakes 👏🏻
I would suggest crusing the Norwegian Fjords and Lofoten Islands.... True beauty 😍
Now THIS is what I want to be spending my money on 😂
Awesome video you two, great ship and great cruise indeed!! I love the "24 hour" bit, that was super fun! And, Susan in the closet was hilarious!! lol I think you might have ruined yourselves for cruising though, that has to be the Top of the heap, as far as cruising goes. Thanks yall!!
Another great video and am I the only one who caught the person spinning in the background at 20:48?
Our first cruise is September 2024 from Vancouver to Alaska can’t wait . Thank you for sharing
I really enjoy the more intimate atmosphere of smaller cruises! Your cruise review is helpful as we think to embark on this adventure. I appreciate it! Cheers!😀🙂
I'm inspired to cruise Alaska now. Thanks, Jeb & Suzanne!
The price seemed almost reasonable for the quality of the cruise, also it was great to see you both taking the excursions. More cruises please🎉
It IS called a bathroom regardless whether it has a bath. Any other name for it is classless. You are correct! It is a bathroom! Great video
Jeb & Suzanne, next time try Ginger Root all natural and works amazing with seasickness.
Travel safe!!
Here from your Queen Anne vid. Wow! You've started your cruising adventures at the top!!!💖
"Well past our bedtime." Totally agree! More early shows, please.
Before dinner matinee is perfect!🤣
Cruises are just the best ❤ love how SSeas is more of an all inclusive experience. Definitely have to give them a try.
My favorite cruise was through New England into Canada through the St. Lawrence River. I also enjoyed my Alaskan Cruise. Enjoy your cruise. Love, Joan
So fun to go along with Jeb and Suzanne (virtually that is) on one of their outings. I loved this one! I may have to try this myself!!
