    You are right and I always encourage people that if they are not sure - better they will go to a trusted technician that will fix their laptop.

    For the record, for those who reassembled the notebook and it wont power on go check the conector strip (disconnected in the video at 6:26). Try blowing the strip and the jack on the motherboard (plug the power cord, press power button and see the power light up). Another cause may be on the processor safe screw not being screwed up correctly

    It is pretty easy to find. If you will go to Google or ebay and type Toshiba A135 DC jack - it will be a right one and it will fit.

    usually people wait till the screwdriver is on the screw to push the button. lol i like how you start the drill and then try to just push it into the screw.

    In the video what drill were you using and if by any chance can it remove stripped screws because I have a lot on mine which prevents me from opening the laptop fully. If you have any advice for my situation I would be glad to listen and try them out.

    Power button, did you checked the cable that is connected to power button by it self?

    I have this same laptop, and it has been overheating a lot, as in after half an hour of use it gets dangerously high. So I was wondering how if I want to get into the fan with the exhaust next to it, if I would have to take the whole thin apart or can I just magically take the bottom panel off? ((Cleaning out dust buildup))

    If you will remove it - you will need to weld it back. I don't do this type of thing because not everybody know how to and if I will remove it, they will be like screwed, what is not good.

    EDIT:
    I forgot to mention that the port for the the white cable next to the dvd controls on the left side of laptop broke. Is there anyway I can find a replacement for that?

    Hello sir, I have a working A135-S2276 in great condition, except that the mouse pad and buttons are totally unresponsive. I can get replacement palm rest for cheap but all are in bad esthetic condition. Can I replace ONLY the mousepad (and avoid using the gross palm rest mouse buttons/plastics) on this model or are the buttons married to the mousepad? Thank you very much for your time.

    • @regazzz
      @regazzz  7 років тому

      +Dark Wolf I believe any regular Toshiba charger will fit. If you found a charger, plugged in and no lights nothing happens, it can be either motherboard or DC jack. I would open first and check how it looks like inside (maybe there was some liquid damage and motherboard is bad) If everything looks more or less ok, you would need to test DC jack.

  • @tomcop122

    NEVER use a powered screw driver on your laptop. If you slam these parts around, it will probably tear up more than you fix. This should be an example of what not to do, when you need to take apart your laptop. SEE A PRO !
