There is a button for closing the tailgate. It's not on the tailgate itself, it's on the left trim panel inside the cargo area. That's been the location for it on both Grand Cherokees for Cherokees for many years. It's actually a better place for it, because if it's up on the tailgate, it might be hard for shorter people to reach. On this particular model, there's also a button for opening and closing the tailgate up next to the sunroof controls.
I agree. I’ve owned a couple grand cherokees. Also you can clearly tell between the paddle shifters and volume and channel change buttons. It’s pretty tough to judge such a great car! I understand.
some of the cons you outlined are more of a personal preference. this is not the first time Jeep has placed the audio behind the steering wheel. I actually like it there. the tailgate bottom is on the left as in previous models. reading the options for the vehicle should have informed you about swiping your foot under the bumper
Salam Nassib! Great casual review of the Cherokee and I am actually considering getting one in the next 3 months, Inshallah. Would you know what kind of service and warranty packages does Jeep offer? I checked with Chevy here and they are being cheap with offering only a warranty for 100k kms extendable only by a AAA package for the Tahoe I was interested in. So please share your feedback on this. Shukran!
Hello! Thank you for watching amd sharing your kind feedback. May I suggest reaching out to Western Motors in AbuDhabi. They will surely know the answers to your questions as I'm not too familiar with them myself. Thank you once again and wishing you well :)
Is there a Laredo avaliable in the new release as well ? I was told in showroom that it starts from Altitude which is basic model. Please do advise. Great review 👏👏👏
My friends got one months ago and he had issues with the info tainment system and one of his air struts broke. They did replace it under warranty but it ll happen again. I was going to get you me, but I’m going to stay away from it. He says he will trade it in after the warranty is out
You should really read the owners manual or the many positive UA-cam reviews. The liftgate open switch is by the license plate lights as well as the foot swipe and to close the liftgate the button on the left side opposite the power seat buttons will close it. Behind the steering wheel radio buttons on the left and right side are very convenient and have been there for decades on Jeeps and I have no problems of them being close to the man. shifting. Owning 4 Jeeps, 23 GC Summit Reserve L High Altitude/21 Gladiator High Altitude/12 Liberty Jet Ed Ltd and the best for last and 23 years of owning a still like new 90 Grand Wagoneer that Jeeps of all configurations are the best 4x4s. Your beautiful white Cherokee was prob. built by me at the now demolished old Jeep plant and yes it was a great 1st vehicle. 🎉🇺🇲🥰
I notice in your review you didn't have to raise your voice at all with windows down or up that tells me jeep really put a lot of emphasis on wind noise so I wonder is the suspension noise just as mute.
Hi Andre. Thanks for your question. I owe that to the microphone setup I had and a bit of post-processing during video editing. Yet, that being said, I had minimal corrections to do as the car was certainly very well sound proofed and had a very comfortable quiet drive. Hope this helps :)

Thank you for highlighting that Bradley, and for sharing that with the community. Good to know!

Or you can just kick your foot under the rear bumper and it will automatically open. Do the same to close it.
Great review .!
Thank you! Truly appreciate the support.

Thank you for watching the video. Yes a Laredo exists but might depend on your local dealer which trims they are importing perhaps? Not sure 🤷🏽♂️

Can you share more about more topics?
Hi there. What kind of topics would you be interested in? Thanks.
This is not a 2022 Grand Jeep Cherokee L Summit Reserve. It doesn't have the side passenger screen.
I just ordered the 5 seater Summit Reserve. That’s an option
It’s a add on just like the front camera
@@iechiefcherokee3807 It's standard on the Summit Reserve and optional on other trims (Limited thru Summit) in the U.S.
I notice in your review you didn't have to raise your voice at all with windows down or up that tells me jeep really put a lot of emphasis on wind noise so I wonder is the suspension noise just as mute.

Dude there is literally a button on the left side interior wall. If you could t find that, you shouldn’t be reviewing cars.
What is the cost of summit reserve in UAE?
Hi Devi. May I request you reach out to Western Motors in AbuDhabi at +971 800 5337 for pricing? Thanks!
