I have to say, after playing this game since Beta 2012ish, It's very refreshing to see someone who still has joy in their voice when talking about SWTOR. Spending a lot of time on the subreddit and the forums there's so much salt in the community. You and SWTOR central having a light hearted look into this game make me feel better
Yes we just last night crafted the Veda cloth orange Adaptive slotted Armour set which is lvl 56 for the darker look.. A nice alt Veda to the nice lvl 61[?] blue adaptive angelic white with gold trim look.
Great vid as always! My personal favorite is the Charged Hypercloth Aegis. Can't wait for the Sith vid. I think box armors would be pretty cool to do next or crafted mounts.
The Vine-silk is my favorite by far. I managed to find a different variant of that chest that has the shoulder pads, and it looks absolutely perfect on my Guardian. I like to use heavier, armored robes on him, since he's a tank, and this set looks beautiful. I use a white/white dye (was super lucky to get one cheap), and I use the Stormguard boots and a set of armored legs (these ones don't really have armor, and mine has little cloth bits that match the robe) with the Vine-silk gloves, wrists, and belt. I LOVE armor with those "blue glowy bits" and I love how the armored sections look with a pure white dye to offset the amazing brown robes. This is my favorite Knight set in the whole game.
Been playing this game for 3 years, and only just recently started exploring crew skills. I used to just buy all my stuff off the GTN or from vendors. I didn't realize just how much I was missing out on.
Would love to see more on any type of craftables! I haven't bothered to craft anything in at least a year, seemed superfluous. I'm gonna go craft a few of those armors though!
Crafting is actually incredibly good right now. On top of all the cool cosmetic stuff (there's mounts, weapons and decorations on top of these armors), the crafted armor is also great for those who are levelling if they need to upgrade their armor for a tough fight, and crafters also have the ability to create pretty decent endgame level 70 armor without having to step into an operation or pvp!
Hi Swtorista, thanks for this list of craftable Jedi Robes. Hypercloth Force Expert’s Vestments and Hypercloth Force Expert’s Vestments are my choices because they both have hoodies!
Speaking of hoodies. Did you know ins Saskatchewan (Canadian province) they have nicknamed them "bunnyhugs"? Can't imagine a Jedi wearing one of those!
Crew skills always appealed to me even though they were very grindy. Which is why I have about a dozen Republic characters because I can collect crafting mats with one character, credits with another who has the slicing skill, weapons with Smuggler, Trooper, and Jedi Knight, armor with another Trooper, and robes with another Knight.
I fancied playing dressup on my sentinel the other day, wanted some simple robes, thx for this video, I crafted a set of the Lashaa Aegis vestments for my character after seeing them in detail here :)
I was thinking.. Maybe we could send u our armor set that we create ? And you could rate them or maybe do video about it ? like a competition ! C: i would glady share mine with you (bounty hunter) :>
I'm actually using the Vine-silk armor on my Jedi Sentinel atm. Picked it up on Taris while I was doing the Story quest and I've been using it ever since.
If you're surprised by that imagine my surprise when I found 3 in a row. But these were all found during the latest exp bonus event so that might have something to do with why I was able to find them so quickly
There are a lot of cool armors in swtor for sure :-). But when's the "Top Ten Ugliest Armors in SWTOR" coming out? Lol so many options to choose from imo! xD
1st of all congratulations on your academic videos they are fantastic!!!! Thanks to your crafting videos i started crafting my self any type of armor, on my jedi knight i can craft the first 6 armors of this video and make money from these creations and i am moving up and now i've started on my trooper with armorech thanks again swtorista for your today lesson!!!
I use Hypercloth Aegis, I love it mainly because I'm a mask collector in the game and it goes pretty well with most of them, I just wished they could let us remove the hood from them, it's so inconvinient sometimes and if I'm not mistaken, there are some sets lying around that are just the same but either with or without hoods.
My favorites are the Shadowsilk Aegis, The Septsilk Force Expert, the Vine-silk Force Expert, The Hypercloth Force Expert, And The Romex Aegis (which is very Star Lord-ish).
great video. these have inspired me to start crafting. I would love to see a series where you show the legacy armor sets from the lockboxes. perhaps you could include one or two mixes in each video for inspiration. :)
Cheers Boosh! I actually wanted to cover that... I just feel bad I threw out lots of the extra belts and bracers I had for those sets since I had too many they were taking up so much space. Grr!
I like the "Shadowsilk Aegis"-set. I usually have Kira wear it with "Medium Blue" as its secondary color. But not the crafted one for 2 reasons: 1. There's no "Secondary Medium Blue"-dye module (unless I also change the primary color to something ugly) 2. Since it has an republic/imperial-version, Kira wears in many cutscenes (ship, at the end of Ord Mantel, and during "questioning" in the end of chapter 2) the imperial one. I have to get the "Tarnished Pummeler's"-set from Taris (or its Mk-2 from the heroic missions from lvl 17-20). It does not only have "Medium Blue" as its secondary color, but Kira also doesn't change sides in it. Downside to that is: 1. It's Jedi Knight-exclusive. 2. You can skip the mission with the chest piece as reward! So if you want to have it, you either are lucky with the heroic mission loot (my drop chance is about 2% to 5%), or do the additional class mission no matter how you play your JK. Wanted to play a kinda dark JK in which I killed Bengel Morr, but instead of rushing right to Dr. Godera, I had to act self-centered and get the jedi artifact (Kira dislikes that choice).
Another great episode in this serie Swtorista, thank you. So going to get my Jedi some new outfits from my Synthweaver. Keep up the great work, cant wait to see what you can do for an Imperial Agent as mine is now still wearing lvl 10 snipers jacket lol. He really needs some new wardrobe 😎
i think the helmet of the "Dramassian Force Expert’s" is similar to one of my consular helmet which i think is a "battle scarred force lords headgear" which is a lucky find for me as i do like that head piece
When you put the Charged Hypercloth Aegis helmet on an Imperial character, it looks like Optimus Prime's head. I'm incorporating this helmet into most of my Sith characters!
My Shadow is in all Shadowsilk Aegis, as is Nadia and Kiera. I prefer them actually wearing pants, as opposed to full robes, as I imagine all the acrobatics would be rather interesting in a skirt.
Cheers! Thanks for using the referral code and I hope you got your goodies :) Sith Inquisitor is the character I want to re-play next, it's a great story!
Swtorista Yes, i'm enjoying the story so far, way better than sith warrior imo! I also got 7 days free subs (planning to get the 2 month subs soon) and some other cool stuffs, so i guess it's a win-win! :)
Gosh, I really love the Shadowsilk Aegis set (you get a similar set on Taris as a JK). I dyed it black and wore it for the rest of the JK class story. Well.. except on Hoth, it's too cold there.
the last 2 look like something straight out of kotor if you remove the red cloth on the front of the force expert and the helmet of the aegis vestments
Hey! I've loved your videos and finally got a UA-cam account that I'm going to use, so decided to sub! Thanks so much for this vid! I'm almost done with my knight and want sick robes to battle him with. Also, how do you get your credits?
Hey Lunar! You're very welcome, have fun crafting! I used to earn credits via running heroics and playing the market. A lot of my credits come from my referral code now though which is nice so I can focus on making videos :) ua-cam.com/video/JM03JZh67gI/v-deo.html
Well may be some people will watch as me in 2018 or even later, so for them some inf. Actually list is a bit longer, cause some armors can be made by obtaining schematics (it is recipe) from reverse engineering of several sets.
Your videos are fantastic, thank you so much! Really looking forward to the Imperial side. Also, a series on reputation armor would be fantastic, I keep finding some real gems hidden away on various planets... the people must be informed! =) Thanks again.
+Exileron cheers Exileron! I'll definitely have to cover reputation armor then, I have most of them but I'm missing the GSI ones and the bounty ones... Might take a while :)
So they look different on the two factions but if I craft these on my Sith Sorc that has Synthweaving and send them to my Jedi characters they should theoretically look like these?
Now I know what I can wear for my Jedi Shadow that I'll create after I've completed the Inquisitor story. :D Edit: Great video btw. But you should have a male Jedi on the screen too so we can see the difference.
+Josh Davison I'm going to look into armstech, I'm just not sure how I will do it since I don't have all the different types of characters needed (ex sniper)
If you wanted you could probably have guild deathmatch on a pvp instance/server in the dune sea of tattonine. Winner takes all and Glory to the victor!
These have default stats appropriate to their level and are not moddable. BUT you can wear any old armor underneath, then use the outfit designer to wear these ones even if you are high levelled.
I wish these didn't change appearance for imperials alot of jedi clothing looks nice for sith when its dyed black. could you do a series on headwear for the species that have issues with most head wear. Twi'leks and miraluka for example either have issues because of their lekku or have an issue with certain blindfolds. id be ok with alternate blindfolds but i'm not fond of the really basic eye socket ones.
I really liked the Romex armor it just needs a butt cape (😉) it's the kind of armor you would see a Jedi wearing on Raxus Prime or maybe a jungle planet like Voss or something!
If I craft this armor on a Sith character and send it to a Republic character what will it look like when I equip them? Sorry if this is a dumb question lol. Great video!
+Papasmurf531 it will look like Sith robes. I'll be showing them off in the next couple videos. You can also go to tor-fashion.com in the crafting section.
I love the Romex Aegis the most, especially the helmet. I could see my Knight in it or even the Romex Force Expert but just swap the helmut for the Aegis cause dat scarf. Just as important as buttcapes. Although I see her throwing on the Veda Force Expert after being nagged at one too many times that she looks too much like a scruffy smuggler or a tricked out pilot, at least for "official" stuff.
Love love love that scarf... I think I actually love pretty much every set that has a scarf. -- And haha! I do the same thing for my trooper... I have some "official look good for the higher-ups" armor.
@@Swtorista Thanks! And thanks for the quick reply! I'll prolly take a month of subscription earlier than expected to pick one up easier, lol. Your vids have been immensely helpful!
These specific schematics are all available from the Synthweaving vendor in the crafting and strongholds section of the fleet. More schematics show up as you level up your crafting level :)
What I meant was a guide for recruiting all of the companionyou can get in your alliance? I seen that video. I love all of your swtor guides keep up the good work. You, Swtor Central, and Vulkk are my favorite youtube channels for swtor content. You guys Rock!
Hey swtorista! I've been playing swtor for almost a month now and have subscribed because of your swtor f2p guide video! If you don't mind I'd like to suggest a top 10 custom armor sets for style purposes. It tough to find good looking armor nowadays especially because most of the GTN is full of garbage.
Swtorista I guess your right lol. I'm not the richest of players yet so I cant access all the best looking gear and I'm very picky about how my jedi looks Haha. If you're ever looking for a buddy to play with my name is Ahbeck on swtor!!
Sort of. The stats are meant for certain levels, so you don't want to wear them for the stats if you are a higher level. If you're trying to get better stats check out this video! ua-cam.com/video/4KmMPoXrxh4/v-deo.html
I like the Shadowsilk Aegis but I prefer the male version with the sleeves and... middle part? I wish we had an option between the two for female but unfortunately we only get that version shown :(
There's a similar version one the Imperial side that is a belly shirt on female character but a cool wrapped shirt on male characters... I'm really glad there isn't too many armor sets that are different. Wish they would release the wrapped version for females and the belly shirt for males! :)
I have to say, after playing this game since Beta 2012ish, It's very refreshing to see someone who still has joy in their voice when talking about SWTOR. +enochh31 swtor definitely has its issues and I've definitely grips about them before, but it also has so much awesome stuff that makes it great!
so much worse now, people are the worst sometimes
Thats it... Im coming back to swtor.
that's the spirit :)
DEFINATELY the Veda Force Expert set
Great series, I'm really enjoying it! Plus I'm learning about armour that I could actually use! Keep up the good work!
Cheers Artemis! I'm really enjoying working on this series.
@2:13 -- ….representing the dark void in her Soul/Heart at being forbidden to explore the relationship of "love" -- 2:13
The Hypercloth Force Expert/Aegis has been my chest piece of choice for a long time. Love it.
Keep making these! Dark side and most important, AGENT!
Really love the "trooper armor" parts of this set!
Really enjoying these armor videos. Thanks!
Cheers Odog! :)

Off the top of my head I think I think the whole video is the Jedi Consular music theme ua-cam.com/video/VcDj_CBG68o/v-deo.html
It is, Thanks for the answer!
I reallly like the Jedi stormguard's adaptive armor and I don't think if I will change to anything from here. Except the hypercloth force expert.
Can you Do a Bounty hunter or sith warior ?
Yep! I'm head over to the Imperial side next :)

Agent was requested a lot last video... wonder which class i coming up next ;)
Ronald de Haan plural for jedi is jedi
Sorry, that was a darn typo to make, been corrected, thanks
I like the Nanosilk, it seemed like a nice mixture, but not too flashy.
is it just me or does the Consular head piece remind you of a nun? LOOL!
I remember when a lot of those armor sets was on vendors on the fleet for coms back in the day.
Me too! They disappeared for a while, glad they made their way back to the game.
Swtorista your my fav youtuber

I used your referral link a few days ago, and i'm currently leveling up my Sith Inquisitor!
I hope it helps your channel :D

No belly buttons on Hoth!
the last 2 look like something straight out of kotor if you remove the red cloth on the front of the force expert and the helmet of the aegis vestments

Love your videos. Keep up the good work!
It may be personal preference, but I think the Empire has the best looking gear. I wish most of it didn't change when you send it over.
That move at 0:11 is that an emote or something, or a Jedi Knight skill?
Well may be some people will watch as me in 2018 or even later, so for them some inf. Actually list is a bit longer, cause some armors can be made by obtaining schematics (it is recipe) from reverse engineering of several sets.

Yep, they should! If you put them in your legacy bank they even look different icons when you look in your legacy bank with different characters.
Now I know what I can wear for my Jedi Shadow that I'll create after I've completed the Inquisitor story. :D
Edit: Great video btw. But you should have a male Jedi on the screen too so we can see the difference.

Jedi slime...
This almost makes me want to start some sort of, battle... ugghhhh

OOOhhhh.....I'm feeling the love LOL.
Again, very cool and my thanks. The last 4 were just nuts. Love them. What's next?
Thanks Physad! Next we're hoping over to the Imperial side... which one exactly is a mystery :)
Cool. Was hoping for that.
how did you do that emote with the saber on sec 11
It's called /flourish, it can sometimes be found on the GTN.
cool thx
How did you do that flourish at :10?
It's an emote you buy /flourish
Thank you.
Endar Spire in the background! Oh how many times did I search there for HK... Soon to be 20th time :)
+Bojan Kezele I did it once and never did it again! I didn't even recognize where I was haha.
Nice vid! I like those robes.
Shadowsilk looks a lot like Relaxed Vestments. Also I like the Dramassian.
+RuinisGaming you're right, it's kind of an inexpensive relaxed set :)
Can you mod these armors, or do they have default stats?
These have default stats appropriate to their level and are not moddable. BUT you can wear any old armor underneath, then use the outfit designer to wear these ones even if you are high levelled.
I'm most likely gonna end up using the Romex Aegis Vestments helmet for something but I'm not sure what.

Now that I just got a set of Xonolite Onslaught...you make this video 😭. Great vid like usual.
Haha! Too many good outfits!
Can you show us the diference of those sets betwen republic and imperial ?
P.S. The diferend looks i mean :) .
+GMeneagros Darkthorn I'll be hopping over to imperial side next :)
How did you do that lightsaber flourish at 0:11 :O
I really liked the Romex armor it just needs a butt cape (😉) it's the kind of armor you would see a Jedi wearing on Raxus Prime or maybe a jungle planet like Voss or something!
I’m pretty sure Luke wore black but he wasn’t dark side
I'm looking for nice hooded Sith robes, something with a cape of some sort, or samurai looking. It's for a tankassin. Any suggestions?
what lightsaber is that i really like the wood part on it
Do you have a guild and or still active on star wars the old republic??
This is the guild I am in remnantsofhope.com
I need the hypercloth and Veda sets 100%
If I craft this armor on a Sith character and send it to a Republic character what will it look like when I equip them? Sorry if this is a dumb question lol. Great video!
+Papasmurf531 it will look like Sith robes. I'll be showing them off in the next couple videos. You can also go to tor-fashion.com in the crafting section.
Swtorista Thanks for the response! I want the Jedi robes, but I only have a sigh synthweaver
Where do you get that hairpeace
I think it comes form one of the Cartel Market hairstyle packs. Or you can just find it when using the appearance designer.
How do u get the cool liightsaber flourish with the yellow lightsaber at :12
I love the Romex Aegis the most, especially the helmet. I could see my Knight in it or even the Romex Force Expert but just swap the helmut for the Aegis cause dat scarf. Just as important as buttcapes.

Me too! I took a peak, the few I saw looked cool.
Do you have a How guide on recruiting Swtor Companions?
What I meant was a guide for recruiting all of the companionyou can get in your alliance? I seen that video. I love all of your swtor guides keep up the good work. You, Swtor Central, and Vulkk are my favorite youtube channels for swtor content. You guys Rock!
I think there are other armors similar to the shadowsilk aegis set.
What about sith robes? i really want one
Check back this coming Monday, sith robes are coming out then :D
Hey swtorista! I've been playing swtor for almost a month now and have subscribed because of your swtor f2p guide video! If you don't mind I'd like to suggest a top 10 custom armor sets for style purposes. It tough to find good looking armor nowadays especially because most of the GTN is full of garbage.
Cheers welcome to the game and glad you enjoyed the videos! Honestly to see the best armor sort by price highest to lowest :P
Swtorista I guess your right lol. I'm not the richest of players yet so I cant access all the best looking gear and I'm very picky about how my jedi looks Haha. If you're ever looking for a buddy to play with my name is Ahbeck on swtor!!
Where did you pickup the hair style?
Sadly the really cool ones don't start until level 40, I'm really liking the Hypercloth Force Expert
Yeah they definitely get cooler higher up :) Padawan to Master!
Can You do the bounty hunter sets next, please! I've seen them before, but it's just the way You present them.. It's so awesome!
Thanks Maple! We're hopping over to Imperial side next.. I wonder which class will be next :)
Imp Agent mayby?
Is that an emote or some sort of stance command at 1:25 or what is it? Looks awesome, is love to use it!
I think I'm just drawing my weapon on a consular, it's a kind of default thing. You can draw your weapon with X or Z, I forget.
Swtorista Z
My two "general" complaints about Jedi robes are the hoods and most chest pieces you can not change the brown robe with color dyes.
+T Sadler I wish these all had hood down versions too. Sad to hear about the dyes, I didn't test them out.
Nano silk looks awesome
Do these armors give you a stat bonus?
Sort of. The stats are meant for certain levels, so you don't want to wear them for the stats if you are a higher level. If you're trying to get better stats check out this video! ua-cam.com/video/4KmMPoXrxh4/v-deo.html
0:10 wtf is that unsheating animation?! holy fuck i want it! how to get it? are there other ones?
It is called Flourish, it is an emote you can get form the GTN :)
wow. an emote. from cartel market. /clap bioware. its sad how much potential this game has and they do nothing
I love your vids. Keep doing what you doing.
Thanks Maxim!
Don't know if you can be bothered but a craftable weapons series would be cool
I'm considering it, but I don't even technically have all the classes that could wield them.
Love you videos Swtorista! The Shadowsilk Aegis must be my favorite, but no #Buttcape for the Jedi .. ;)
Thanks Karlsen! I was wondering if we would see any Jedi armors with kama on them. Guess not!
How do you do the emote with the lightsaber? You know that swinging with it, seems like an emote, but im not sure.. good vid!
It's called flourish, a cartel pack emote
Swtorista i see, do you know the specific pack name? Thank you in advance
