Very nice footage, but it seems like it was stretched a bit too wide. Was it the lens or the camera?

That's how it's supposed to look, it's supposed to look stretched, it doesn't look overstretched imo it looks fine.

did you add any noise in post? the footage is very nice but seems very noisy to me...also, when stabilising in post did you use gyro data stabilisation? Oh. and did you use any diffusion filters (in one of your BMCC6K videos you used nisi blackmist, so I wonder..) Anyway, great work!

Dużo ziarna jak na Full Frame 6K. Blackmagic zawsze tak ma? W Blackmagic URSA 12 K podobne miałem wrażenie w porównaniu do Canon 300 Mark III oba z sensorem super 35 był kiepski obraz. Oglądam na monitorze 6K.
Przepiękne obrazki - kadrowanie i grading na najwyższym poziomie. Podoba mi się ten naturalny ruch kręcenia z łapy.
A sekwoje na żywo robią jeszcze większe wrażenie! Mi udało się kupić sadzonkę w Narodowym Parku i przywieźć do Polski, przyjęła się i rośnie już 3 rok - mega pamiątka z USA :D

My only problem with this lens is that it shakes like crazy and also distorts the image when u move in certain ways. Also hard to stabilize it even using Gyroflow.
That’s true
I notice significant wobble effect on some of the shots. This surely has to do with the relatively slow rolling-shutter of the sensor (25 ms), but it seems that the effect is amplified by the particular peripheral distortion that this lens has. Though, I wonder if this is a camera that because of the slow rolling shutter, maybe it needs to be used with a stabilizer (gimbal) when shooting handheld and you move the camera around.
I don't know but I'm using the Sirui 35mm anamorphic on the Sony a7siii and I have the same issue..
Hello Michal, was this a creative choice, or are the shadows crushed because of lack of DR?. Was there a lot of noise in the shadows?

How did you find working with the FF with the nanomorphs? I have a 6k Pro currently and a set of nanomorphs.Thinking of upgrading to the FF, does it make working with the nanomorphs difficult?

Full frame jest przepiękny, nagrywam teraz równolegle z 6k pro i obrazek z FF jest dużo ładniejszy, problem tylko w tym że ma mniej klatek i brakuje filtrów ND :/

The contrast and dark tones are also pushed way too far, to he point that it doesn't look natural anymore. There's also some focal blur/slight shake. Also, "A Film by" credit doesn't apply here since there's not feature/film narrative here.

@@Stondiexd Yeah probably a huge part of it. Also these Nanomorphs pincushion quite a lot. (Even more when pushed beyond S35.)
Josh from Make Art Now, says the newer lenses should have the more pleasing Barrel distortion. Anamorphics are quite quirky, to put it mildly, to shoot with. Lots of flaws you have to accept but that's what gives you the look.
All black magic cameras are supper dark.

Grain add life, and have the benefits of reducing colorbanding if not using constant bitrate on the export, plus youtube compression, literally no downside using grain
