And instead of fabric softener I use one tablespoon of white vinegar 😊
1. Empty bottle
2. A funnel
3. Large pan
4. 45 grams Marseille soap flakes
5. 3 table spoons of baking soda
6. 3 liters of water
❤
You've encouraged me to do this again. Detergent has gone up so much lately!!
Happy to help you save some money 💰😄
I made my own laundry detergent today and i love it❤ thank you
Yaaaay glad to help! 😁
If you put your soap in the microwave for about a minute, it will expand and get very crumbly. It is much easier to get it into small pieces and mix with your other ingredients that way. In Texas, USA, I use Fels-Naphtha soap.
Bravissima! Appena finisco il mio seguirò la tua ricetta!!
Thank you!! ☺️❤️
I have found your channel a few days ago and immediately subscribed:)
I've already waited for this video, thanks for sharing the recipe!!
Welcome aboard and thank you! ❤️
Do you make your own toothpaste? Im lookinh forward to more recipes ❤
Not yet but it is definitely something I will do in the future 😉❤️
Hi everyone! I live in cyprus and there are no french brands here. Ordering marseille soap from amazon will destroy the whole attempt to make it cheap and eco-friendly.
Can you guys describe what is special about marseille soap? Can i just find any natural olive oil soap? (We ahve lots of olive oil here, but the oil soaps that i ussualy see are like hand-made and/or super fancy.
Thank you!
Loved the video❤
Yes definitely agree about that sorry for only talking about Marseille soap but that is the only one I use for this recipe, but I think any 72% olive oil soap (organic would be way better) could do a great work! 😊
I made it and it's great!! Thank you...
Wonderful! Happy to help 😄
So happy you made this video, thank you! Also, do you think that Dr. Bronners Castile bar soap (like the one you bought!) could be used in place of the green soap you use?
I think so, I just checked online and it seems possible yes, it is a great soap after all 🫧😄
Thank you for the recipe. I will try this soon 😍
My pleasure 😊
Great minimalist laundry on this video
Thank you 😊
Thanks for the recipe
You’re welcome! ☺️
Another lovely video from my favorite UA-camr ❤
So glad to have found your channel, as I'm on my own minimalist journey & your channel helps a lot 😊
I have a question regarding your recipe, can we substitute marseille soap with castile soap ?
Thank you so much Anika for your kind words ❤️ I am really happy to help and inspire others towards a more sustainable, positive and simple life ☀️
Yes it is possible to use Castille soap, make sure that the list of ingredients is short and it’s better to buy an organic one ☺️
I got a white marseille soap can I use it for laundry?
Yes works too but less well than the green one 😉
Hey this sounds great! I'm really curious about this ...how did you find this recipe? What do you mean by saying that it is more ecofriendly? Because of the ingredients or because of the bottle being reused? Thanks!
Hey! I found this recipe in a French book of natural diy’s ☺️ But my grandmothers used to do this recipe too. It is ecofriendly to both reasons, and especially because the ingredients are completely natural and with no endocrine disruptors or perfume to damage your health ☺️
You think 50 gm of soap will last one year?
What soap is the green one? Is it Verveine? They sell them in the UK so I’d like to try this.
No it is Marseille soap 😊
@@louisefroideval ah they sell them in the uk in different colours but they have the names of them printed on them such as “lavender” or “verveine” so I was just wondering as I noticed they do an olive one too and that’s also green.
Helpful video!! Can I use another soap instead of Marseille soap? Thank you😊
Thank you! Yes you can use Castille Soap too 😉
I think I can use Aleppo soap as well, right? Is this any good for hand washing my stuff? (without a machine?)
I am following Exploravore too... because of her videos I found you.. somehow :)
Yes Alep soap works great too and for hand washing stuff too, I do it too but with my Marseille soap :)
She is great I love her videos! 😄
Hi! I only found you over a week ago and am loving these videos! I had decided to sell all my belongings a few weeks before I found out that this 'ultra minimalist' lifestyle was already being lived by others :) I have a quick question about your soap-- why is green Marseille soap better? Thank you!
Hi!! Welcome and I’m glad that you’re enjoying my videos 😃 Haha yes you are definitely not alone is this minimalist lifestyle! ☀️
Marseille soap must be green because it is made with olive oil, so if it’s not green it’s made from multiple cheap oils 😉
She’s never heard of dyes I suppose.
@@louisefroideval Thank you so much! I'll be making it :)
Where are you moving to?
I’m moving out at my boyfriend’s place until we leave for our big trip :)
How many ml need to be used in one wash?😊
I use a bottle cap per cycle ☺️
@@louisefroideval ❤️❤️
Can I use any soap?
Marseille soap is the best but Castille soap can work too ☺️
This looks like in a witches' kitchen 😜 Definitely will try. I used soap berries some time ago, but sportswear would not get clean and white clothes somehow got grey sooner. Thanks for the recipe. ✌😊
Haha we love a good witches kitchen 🤓 I use this recipe for multiple years and it does not color clothes, it is great!
Soap makes fabrics dingy, smelly, coarse and water repellent. The odors are offensive.
@@louisefroideval If you want to fix the colors so they don't bleed when washing, then put your new clothes in a bucket of water mixed with 1dl of white vinegar. Let it stay for 30 minutes to one hour and then wash it in the washing machine. 👍
2:00 we call it a scale or balance in English
A scale that’s it!! Thank you haha 😄
