I would like to this this lady for showing me the quick way to perform my skills the right way and knowing my critical steps I studied by watching your videos and passed!!!!!!
Thank you very much. I was having trouble finding videos that were concise and to the point. I'm so happy I found your UA-cam channel. In less than 24 hours, I watched your videos and passed the skills test.
1) Knock Pause and Enter. Identify the patient. Introduce yourself and explain the procedure 2) Peanut Butter SandWich: Privacy, Bed height, Signal device (skip), Wash your hands. 3) But on gloves 4) Gather supplies on the table. 5) Make sure the bed is lowered before applying bedpan below the patient. And ask the patient to help when inserting the bedpan. 6) Leave toilet paper within reach. 7) Remove gloves and wash your hands. 8) Come back when the patient is done. Apply gloves and instruct the patient to wipe their hands before receiving the bedpan.
I was under the mindset that you lower heading the bed and raise the bed waist level when doing any nursing procedure because you practice proper body mechanics and unnecessary lifting/bending. She placed the to its lowest level. It is head down waist high.

She forgot to put bee protector before putting the bed pan, also dry the bed pan after washing it
