1) Knock Pause and Enter. Identify the patient. Introduce yourself and explain the procedure 2) Peanut Butter SandWich: Privacy, Bed height, Signal device (skip), Wash your hands. 3) But on gloves 4) Gather supplies on the table. 5) Make sure the bed is lowered before applying bedpan below the patient. And ask the patient to help when inserting the bedpan. 6) Leave toilet paper within reach. 7) Remove gloves and wash your hands. 8) Come back when the patient is done. Apply gloves and instruct the patient to wipe their hands before receiving the bedpan.

She reminds me so much of my 5 grade teacher. I wonder if this is her granddaughter.

I don't know why Credentia has this skill done this way....There are simpler ways to put on a stocking that doesn't require so much stress on the patients leg and unnecessary steps, I think AZ has easier options for my exam, on my practice skill I did it simple and the patient barely noticed I put the stocking on and the heel was aligned properly, but thank you for this video I got some great tips

do you have to use a clothing protector?

My instructor taught us the acronym TOSS and POWS, which is Take Off Strong Side and Put On Weak Side. It has helped me a lot throughout this process so I hope it helps someone else as well.
