  • These videos contain all 22 possible skills exactly as you should perform them for the Georgia CNA exam or any other state that uses Pearson VUE for testing. For the skill portion of the state CNA test, you will have 30 minutes to perform 5 skills. Your 5 skills will be selected randomly by Pearson VUE except that they will include Hand Hygiene as your first skill. You will also have one measuring skill(either Pulse, Blood Pressure, Measure Urine Output, Respirations or Weight), and you will have 3 other randomly selected skills. These videos and the testing techniques used in them can help you pass the skills portion of your CNA test. Good Luck!

    I studied Nurse Jar’s UA-cam videos and failed the Skills test the first time I took the CNA exam. I just retake my CNA exam yesterday at Goodwill SOLAC and PASSED!!! Your videos are short and straight to the point. Thank you so much, I had perineal care as one of my skills

      Hi, Did you get all of your supplies first and then start with your opening statement or did you need to tell the resident you will gather your supplies and be right back?

    Passing the CNA test is when you study hard, if you can’t study or you don’t have time for your studies I’d advise you get yourself a help like Mr Philip

      I’ve always believed CNA is not all about studying, you need God’s grace to pass too.

      CNA might seem so tough to pass but studying very hard is a very vital skill to win trust me.

    your videos are helpful but i have a question, i thought we’re supposed to bring the bed to our waist for safety purpose for yourself .

    Sorry I’m way late to the video but aren’t you supposed to put a barrier on the overbed table? Also, does it matter where I put the dirty linen? Is draped over the basin or on the barrier on the overbed table both acceptable? I’m in Pennsylvania btw.

    Hello, would you make a video on how to make an unoccupied and occupied bed? Your videos are self explanatory with the way you list the supplies and guides on one side of your videos. I am looking forward to these.

      I think you do! My RN professor told us we should always raise the side rail of the bed when turning the resident :)

    Hi! question, wouldn't it be better for grab 4 wash rags considering the first two were used for the genital area but then used for the rectal area as well?

      I was taught in my CNA class to use 4 wash cloths. 2 for the front area and 2 for back.

    • @CNASkill
      @CNASkill  2 роки тому

      You don’t have to use different wash rags for the different areas but you can. On this test you will only be scored what is on the evaluators checklist. If you do extra things that are not on the list it does not count against you.
