In this lesson we look at the jaw dropping rhythm skills of Extreme guitarist Nuno Bettencourt, breaking down the main riffs to "Mutha" taken from their 1989 debut album. This track is a great example of the "Van Halen effect", with a riff that borrows both harmonic and tonal ideas from the classic Van Halen track "Unchained".
