Panama is a classic solo, but there are so many greats to choose from. So what’s your favourite Eddie Van Halen solo?
Definitely Jump! But I agree there are SOoooooo many incredible EVH solos it is impossible to ignore any of them.
Anything from the 1st album, the passion is huge!

So many amazing guitar solos! Hard to pick one, however the kid in me says 'Eruption' because it's the first thing I heard from EVH and I was floored! I didn't know a guitar could do that!
I felt the EXACT same when he passed. Never really gave a shit about any other “celebrity” but I felt his loss.

"Eddie Van Halen played the soundtrack to my life." Yes. Thats what he did.
This guy is great glad to see him going out on his own he has enormous potential to build a huge social media presence if he cares to. Great personality, he breaks things down into bite sized chunks into digestible easy-to-understand peices. I've been playing for more than 2 decades and he's a cut and above everyone else. You can tell he's passionate about this. Only a matter of time before he gets sponsors.

I saw an interview with Eddie years ago saying he got a strat to record Panama because of the dual vol knobs to be able to quickly change the volume for the quiet finger picking part.

I showed the solo at the start, it was the first thing I play. My style of video, if you don’t like it, don’t watch.
