ASP needs to get the left lane hogging under control on I40, especially the trucks. Among all the stretches of interstate in the country, I40 through Arkansas is far and away the worst that I have traveled in this regard. Citations need to be issued, warnings will not result in a change of behavior.
Years ago, I traveled Arkansas in my work. I would get furious at all the left-lane loafers! They gave me road rage (and still do). I get in the left lane for passing and get my ass back in the right lane. Someone is always going faster than yourself so left-lane hanging is rude and irresponsible.
I live in Arkansas and it’s terrible that semi should have been pulled over, I know she was going after that Jeep but the way she has to pass in the right lane was wild work 🙆🏾♂️

That's almost everywhere. I hate driving the interstates in TN. As the interstates are full of truckers, which I mean we need them for our goods and services, and also full of crazies like this guy driving the Jeep. I've gotten where I stick to the secondary highways and back roads for my travels. So much more peaceful.

Count the number of people who are in the passing lane who don’t need to be, or are not actively passing and then think about how you drive. It’s infuriating.
The Trooper demonstrated outstanding vehicle control. She was calm and anticipated the moves of the suspect. This was a very dangerous adventure and I appreciate we have professionals on the road to protect us even though they must also stop the disruptors. Thank you for sharing.💙

@snoozeflu some trucks a governor and some are wide open and some just do the speed limit but I do agree as a truck driver I hate this as well but trucks are allowed to pass and allowed to be in the left lane to pass but if the truck or car he trying to pass of the right lane they could help and back off 1 to 2 mph it would help the other truck that's trying to pass you or doing the speed limit

Forget the Jeep . . . start issuing large fines to Semis that camp out in the left lane. Arkansas must have the largest number of trucks per capita than anyplace in the U.S.
The truckers aren't camping in the left lane, the big trucking companies put governors on their rigs( It's usually 65 mph) which means some will run 65.5, some 65 and others 64.5 so that's why they pass going .5 mph faster , God forbid they just go the same speed, just have to go that extra .25 to .5 mph faster.
I watch a lot of these type of videos, and yours is the best in terms of editing. I love what you do with the constant graphics, and helping the viewer with info and explaining things (and amusement). Keep up the great work, and I am a now a subscriber!!

I’ll give him credit for trying to run. I drive a lifted Jeep and they’re slow. Also driving over 80 mph it’s gets real sketchy. He definitely was holding onto that steering wheel with both hands for dear life.
They do that shit here in Ohio also. the aren't supposed to but I never see any one or heard of anyone getting pulled over for it. You are only supposed to pass in the left lane in Ohio. Some states are different. Know the laws before you drive out of state.

But knowing the limitations of the trucks would dictate a reasonable response: since they're incapable of passing, then they shouldn't attempt passing and stick to the right lane. In Germany, on the autobahn, trucks, slow moving vehicles, even fast moving vehicle are mandated to stay in the right lane. Why? Because there might be another vehicle even faster than yours coming up fast from behind in the left lane. If there is an accident and the German police determined it was caused by someone in the left lane when they were not supposed to be, they end up with high fines and other punishments for traffic infractions.
I don't understand why people don't pull over? They ride the left lane and are oblivious to what is happening behind them. And especially truckers in the left lane, WHY? It takes them twice as long to pass anyone and why try? To me they were twice as bad as the person he was chasing and should have got a ticket!!! And one more thing of note, I never seen so much rubber lying on the road in any video like this!!

Brings me back to the 2010 blizzard. I got stuck for hours right here. Finally made it to the other side of Little Rock to a hotel where my car froze in the parking lot for 3 days had a front loader dig me out of the ice block. Took me two weeks to get from Virginia Beach to Phoenix.

THEN, at 18:40 he takes I40 EAST (she says "I40 West") towards Memphis, crashes at 19:00 on the right side (south side) and takes off on foot across the field to the south and she calls out he's on foot heading NORTH. She did not even try to pursue on foot and waited for the men to arrive. Then she couldn't even navigate the fence without help! But she gets paid the same?! Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion...including the less competent to satisfy a quota.

@mdot1955 I know, right? I think I'd have broken off the pursuit, pulled one of those left lane campers off to the side, and written them up for Failure To Yield To An Emergency Vehicle, ... There's States where, if you're in the left lane forcing faster traffic to pass you on the right, YOU'RE the one who's gonna get the ticket: Failure To Yield The Passing Lane To Faster Traffic.
It's incredible how ignorant these drivers are when they're in the way of the gendarmes. Don't they know that the left-hand lane should only be used for overtaking? It's galling!
All the traffic wasn't following too closely to a group of motorcycles, the reason for the stop, not speed. Imagine paying attention, not try it and rewatch the first minute.
Jeeps aren't known for their speed or handling, so I'll give that driver some credit. Nice hiding spot at 17:25, but I guess they didn't hide well enough. A muddy Jeep trail would have been perfect.

Wow, she sucks at pursuit!! Lousy lane choice/strategy, getting herself caught behind slower traffic allowing the subject vehicle to obscure her sight. THEN, at 18:40 he takes I40 EAST (she says "I40 West") towards Memphis, crashes at 19:00 on the right side (south side) and takes off on foot across the field to the south and she calls out he's on foot heading NORTH. She did not even try to pursue on foot and waited for the men to arrive. Then she couldn't even navigate the fence without help! But she gets paid the same?! Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion...including the less competent to satisfy a quota.

There's States where, if you're in the left lane forcing faster traffic to pass you on the right, YOU'RE the one who's gonna get the ticket: Failure To Yield The Passing Lane To Faster Traffic.

All the traffic wasn't following too closely to a group of motorcycles, the reason for the stop, not speed. Imagine paying attention, not try it and rewatch the first minute.

Jeeps aren't known for their speed or handling, so I'll give that driver some credit. Nice hiding spot at 17:25, but I guess they didn't hide well enough. A muddy Jeep trail would have been perfect.
