Awesome story. They’re reproducing machines! Mine are always reproducing. You can see fingerlings and fry hiding in the rocks on one of my videos here: Fingerlings Spotted in Mbuna Fish Tank | Breeding Cichlids ua-cam.com/video/sMFviEfKmHU/v-deo.html
Hi thanks. How many fish will depend on your filtration and also how much rocks you can have in your tank. The idea is to have enough fish just to curb aggression. More rocks will give the fish more hiding places so allowing you to add more fish. Another consideration is the water change routine.
Just a bit over stocked 😂 I'd take the 2 Oscar's out and about 10 to 12 African's and that would be well stocked imo but at the end of the day its your tank do whatever you like at least the water looks clean
At the moment I have 3 Oscars, two smaller, Tiger and Red Oscar’s and the bigger Red Chilli. I am looking into another tank because my Africans have been breeding a lot too adding to the population. Thank you for your advice.
African cichlids should be overstocked to reduce aggression is valid advice. But unfortunately many people take that as a licence to stock as many fish as they want. I wouldn't put Oscars in there for a start, or that pleco or that Geo. Bristlenoses grow a lot smaller if you want a pleco. But I guess you aren't here for advice or you would have stocked differently. And it's your tank.

Thank you!
Mixing South American and African fish is also interesting
It’s fun! Never a dull moment.😊
We call it overstock for a reason
Thank you. I hope it works out in the long run.
Clear water and no aggression! What size is this tank? And to think ppl say african cichlids and south american cant go together!
Tank dimensions
380litres. Approx 100gal
183x45x45cm. 72x18x18inch
It can be done. The Africans and Americans can live together in harmony.😊

Nice tank! I'm starting with African fish, how many do you think can introduce in 450 lts (1.50x50x50cm). Thanks

I have read many comments from my other videos that say that this tank is overstocked. Let me know what your thoughts are…any advice is welcome.
Of course its over stocked a blind man could see that
To overstock or not to overstock? How much is too many?
