Two things:
1: how do you get into the skirt.. Like does the waist elastic mess up?

You are awesome! I've always wanted to make my own clothes. Especially because at my age it's difficult to find clothes I like. You make it look so easy!
There is also elastic with a nice velvet surface. If you can find that, your skirt will look even better.

I like this diy alot! It looks gorgeous! At first I thought that if I made it I wouldn't add the middle strip and have just the suspender straps but now im not so sure! It is really cute either way and looks brilliant on you! :)

You can buy them for $8 on ebay....but if you want to be ethical about things, you shouldn't buy because they're all mass produced in China...
Also, why buy when you could make it yourself?! The sense of accomplishment you get from completing a piece is something money can't buy. :> I love you Annika! ♥
That's totally right! I *did* find it on ebay for pretty cheap too, but it's just something that's SO easy to make for yourself, so why wouldn't you? :)
I think if the price is cheap the quality could be cheap too. I had some bad surprises with that.
