The only time women or to be specific "a wife" challenges gender roles is in a relationship/marriage...
At home when their parents tell them to do something they say,"Yes Sir/Ma'am" and keep it moving.
At work when the boss tells them to do something, they say,"Yes Sir/Ma'am" and keep it moving.
In a relationship/marriage when their husband (who has taken their hand in marriage or has shown a level of commitment enough to make her his wife) tells her to cook, clean, wash or anything, they say,"I'm not your mother" and forget that we're also not their fathers and can easily find another woman who may not even be as good looking as her, but more obedient/submissive then she is.
The only time a woman has a problem with being told what to do is by her boyfriend/husband, but will still expect this man to be the provider and protector of the family which is a fvckin *role* that this man has to commit to without a doubt and understanding it's importance.

False… it’s people in general who just don’t roll over and accept things they don’t feel comfortable with. I challenged my mom and dad, I def Challange my supervisors and it was served me well in my career, and if my husband does something I’m not comfortable with I will Challange him. There is a WAY to go about challenging people and that’s usually what sticks out in their mind. Assertive vs aggressive.. I’ve been married for 11 years and with my husband for 15 years.
This shows the more a male does for a female, the more she takes him for granted and becomes far more entitled.

My girl don't like to clean and I'm cool with that. I told her to hire a maid and she has to pay for it. She wanted me to pay for it. I told her if I pay for it I get to pick the maid and you don't have any say in it. But if she pays for it she can pick the maid, it just can't be a guy. She chose to pick the maid and pay for it.

You may hire a nanny to watch/nurture your kids, but a nanny doesn't hire a nanny to watch over her own kids, she makes time to go back home and watch/nurture her kids.
You may hire a cook to cook for you or go out to restaurant to eat, but that cook will still go back home and cook themselves something to eat.
These people only have jobs because people don't "feel" like doibg it themselves, as a woman you're not doing their job if you do any of these, their doing your job for you and you pay them for their services.

Obviously adults should learn to cook. Adults should learn to do repairs around the house, fix cars and fully pay their equal share too.
However the point of my comment is that if she feels that cleaning is a degrading role for women then I wouldn't expect her to hire a cleaning lady if that's the route she goes because that would mean shes fine with another woman being degraded for her purposes.

Rico, the first video I ever saw of 8 at the table was "what women bring to the table ". The woman *Aaron the renegade ) said she brings cooking, cleaning, getting things for the house. Rico said and I quote "I can pay for all that" and that she needs to do more. Now he is preaching thats her role and that men would rather the woman do all of that than pay for it, dudes a clown.
Second, dudes always like to use the lion analogy when talking gender roles. The females hunt cuz their women, the male is stronger and treated like a king due to the females bringing the food back. Lionesses do the hunting because the are better. Males are more likely to starve to death when they aren't part of a pride, a lionesses can survive by herself. Discovery Channel and animal planet studied and showed this decades ago.
There are no gender roles in the animal kingdom. There are some species where the male does the child rearing, from birds, fish, almost any category.
Even make tigers step up and will raise cubs when something happens to the mother. They followed 2 tigers in India to observe this.
The independent woman isnt only black women. I tried to understand where you was coming from but the lioness surviving part was a complete lie.
A simple google search shows you that plenty of Lions can live alone but lioness usually don’t survive on their own.
Because they get lonely, they can’t protect their cubs, they can’t protect their territory nor catch suitable prey to sustain herself.
You don’t even understand the Lion/Lioness dynamics.
The Lioness have to hunt in packs.
Lions can hunt solo and take down big prey that one lioness cant.
The Male Lions do Hunt but the more important thing is to Protect the Cubs, the Pride and the territory from other predators.
You don’t realize the Lioness are ill equipped to do the responsibilities of a Male Lion.
A Pride of Single mother lionesses would be taken over very quickly and easily by predators.
I’m talking dead cubs and lionesses.
@PD-qu8dq I was speaking on lionesses without cubs, and they usually are in pairs(sisters). Now there are some cases of 1 with cubs surviving long enough to reunite with their pride. Males do have a lower success rate than females, solo, pair or otherwise. I've seen plenty of documentaries and learned about them in one of my college courses (animal science). The lionesses will even defend their pride from new males in fear of their cubs being killed and were successful. They also hunt smaller game when their alone since less mouths to feed so your big game theory has holes. Felines are the most adaptable hunter, hence why they are the number 1 predators. To add insult to injury lions have one of the worst successful hunt percentage out of all Felines. So male lions are bottom teir hunters at best, somewhere in the mid teen percentage while lionesses are low 20 percentage. I don't need Google when I can ask a professional aka professor on the matter. Mammals and marsupials are my specialty, living or extinct. I could go further but I'm going to choose to not argue with someone who uses Google as their main source of research
