He’s a smart boy. Good training....I wish people weren’t so critical. This dog is not being abused, he’s being trained. It’s good that he’s doing it while the dog is so young. Beagles are SO cute.
My beagle just died and he was 14yrs 8 months. Im laughing because when he was a pup he was like your boy, Couldn't tell him anything. LOL I miss my little guy.
All the people who think this training is bad has no idea how to train a dog. I have a beagle, and trust me, with a breed that is this food motivated, they need to learn to wait. And it’s not just a training with food, this is helping with just the process of stay and wait. Of course the baby isn’t going to be happy with waiting, but that’s the point. The older they get, the more they are okay with the wait. Also, there is positive reinforcement after, and the dog’s tail was wagging, so yeah. This is incredibly impressive for a three month beagle 👏👏👏
This little champ has good patience. I remember when I taught the same thing to my little lab. Dog with patience will always be great in learning. Blessings for Boris :)
they are not impossible. They are very clever. But you have to find their unique way. Stubborness is the key. You have to be more stubborn than the beaagle, and never give in to his tricks. Award when he does the right thing, and its done!!!
Beagles make that face all the time lol, mine is not that train and he has freedom around the house yet he still does that sad face, he does wag his tail and plays with the toys I got for him so I know he is happy.
That is a normal face for beagles. Mine looks sad when his face looks down. But that does not mean they're not happy. It's kinda their default face when they are not active. If they move a lot and start to breathe with tounge out, then you will see they are happy dog.
What you call sadness is actually tranquility. The dog feels safe and calm knowing he has a leader to take care of food, water and shelter. People think that neurotic an anxious dogs are happy, big mistake.
Resting sad face syndrome ie every beagle in earth. Mine has quite literally never met a human or dog that he didn’t like. These fuckers have kind, sweet souls. I’ll never own a different breed. But my wife won’t let me get another one cause they are quite vocal and OBSESSED with food.
@Yoli .Q Realmente se nota que no tienes perro. Mi novia tiene un beagle, son así. Si no lo sabe, se queda en silencio en lugar de hacer el ridículo en Internet.
I think the owner is okay, as is the puppy. Dogs should be trained you know... then you can take them anywhere, beacuse they know how to behave. One should not spoil them. I am sure when he is not training the puppy he is very sweet, and cuddle with him a lot :)
I'm sorry, but that pup is not happy. his little tail sould be wagging up a storm as he eats, not hanginglow with a scared posture. Something is off here.
@@midnightchannel111 He's a monster? You base that opinion on what evidence? He made his dog sit and wait for food? People like you are what's wrong with the internet.
You need to understand how beagles are different than other dogs before criticizing how this dog is raised with discipline regarding food. I recommend reading up on beagles. Beagles are opportunistic scavengers and if given the opportunity can eat themselves to illness or in some cases to death. They really do need a very disciplined and strict diet. So in fact, his owner is very loving to train him and not cruel as some of you suggest. Likely this video was shared to demonstrate that beagles can be trained and disciplined around food, a challenge to many beagle owners. As a beagle owner myself, I am very impressed with Boris. He has a good start at a long and healthy life.
Our dogs "completely' rely on us for thier food, water shelter, warm and love . Treat them well, with respect and gratitude in repayment for their complete " unconditional" love and companionship they give to you in return.
I think it's great training. Beagles really need the structure. If you look close he is stroking Boris's paw. It is affectionate, not domineering. My first beagle was killed when he ran in front of a car. Since then I have had 3 more beagles. I worked with all of them. They have all lived long happy lives. We go to the off leash park 5 days a week. I admire Boris's owner for being responsible. Beagles are often given up or abandoned because people won't take responsibility for training, same as their kids usually!!!
one day off the leash only?! FOR THE DOG BREED THAT IS THE EMBODIMENT OF GOODNESS? how cruel. ppl here kidnap them because they are expensive and everyone wants one, nobody abandons the best dogo
When a dog is young, like puppy age, is the best time to train them. Even simple things like having them be social around other people and other pets will help out. Of course if you have a dog that is 3 years old you’re adopting and they’re a little barky and they want to chase other animals, that more on the owner who didn’t train them properly or probably didn’t raise them well at all. This can applied to all breeds with how you treat and train them when they’re young. It’s harder to train an older dog. It’s doable, just more difficult.
Man I wouldnt count on that....this beagle is one in a million.... your average beagle would take up to two years to even come close to this....extremely bullheaded!
I guess you've never seen what therapy-dogs, or assistance-dogs look like? They "look" like they're FAR more depressed and subservient than this puppy, but do you criticize their owners/trainers?
Wow! You trained a beagle at 3 MONTHS to be that obedient!!? Beagles go CRAZY when it comes to food, especially THEIR food! Borisov is an extraordinarily good dog!
Yes, unfortunately I do know why. A Beagle is bred to give chase and never stop that chase until told or dropping from exhaustion. I’ve had four now, and only one ONE of them I could trust without a lead. She had been a rescue we adopted at age 2. We have no idea where she came from, but she knew she found home. Every other Beagle will run at a whiff of chipmunk feet. You can’t help loving them just the way it’s so hard (but rewarding) to stop their chasing. Most get angry and think they’re stubborn, but it’s part of who they are. Get a STRONG leash!
Well done. Our dog also waits for food. She also waits at doors. She doesn’t bark at other dogs, jump, scratch, or beg. At 80 lbs she doesn’t pull on the leash. She’s sweet and well adjusted. We have family with spoiled dogs that make visitors, including us, feel uncomfortable. No wonder some people dislike dogs. Your dog will never be that annoying dog bothering everyone.
he has patience. mine ran outside and stole chicken out of the neighbors hand while she was eating it. i felt so bad i made her dinner , and took it over there. it takes a lot of training. i didnt do very well. he will sit and stay but i still cant get him to not bark at the door
Beagles in my opinion are the best dogs to own. I grew up with a miniature beagle. We got her when I was 8 years old and we had her until I was 23. Speaking from 27 years in the animal rescue field...this pup is not suffering in the least. Untrained dogs end up in shelters or abandoned on the street or worse. In his litter Momma and the other pups would set the feeding order. Impulse control is a vital skill for ALL living things. Dogs need rules not anarchy. Rules = security and respect. And a longer, healthier life.

He is just teaching him few needed lessons...that doesn't mean the puppy is not getting enough loved ..people chill

一叶之秋 Typical Chinese mentality.
He is such a sweet little puppy
Give Boris more food, he was still hungry. An other point cut down on the waiting time...that's cruel. Jeepers! Have a heart man.
he is allways hungry man... need to be controled.. see the other videos so that you can see that he his great ;)
Amazing , my 3month old beagle does a happy dance when I feed her .
Well trained.
Owners often have a dog go through hoops. Just feed the damn dog.
Que descaro con un cachorro como será el maltrato para tan pequeño hacer esto eso es abuso
he fed, are you blind?
That’s so mean, the puppy was waiting very calm and you took too long.!!
@@victoriacricco5842 naa he does that dog a favour. showing him discipline alows him to live less food driven.
he gives him discipline, with allows mr beagle to control his urges so he is not controlled by them. makes him more free then ever.
its not like that puppy is starving, its the specially in beagle extraoridinary fodo crave, like a drug addict on a cold turkey. no matter how full the belly must eat, blind for anything else, must eat, jum jum...
Little Rover: Yep, it's NOT rocket science but just common sense!
A beautiful disciplined doggie)))
i dont understand why people think this is too strict and the dog is depressed. I love dogs, this breed is so smart. That being said, they can be very naughty so proper training is needed.
Thank you for your understanding!! ;) you are absolutely right ;)

melovetolaugh qeq
but, i have never seen a naughty one. i swear i would trust this breed more than any human
Oh boy! We have a Puggle, 1/2 Beagle and 1/2 Pug:) he acts like he's constantly hungry and is a whirlwind😁
You have him trained well. A beagle usually likes to eat so fast he chokes on his food.
He did eat fast
very cute I am thinking of getting one
UR BEAGLE IS SO CUTE AND BEAUTY.PWP FOR BORIS♥♥♥
Boris is thinking, he ain't looking I'm gonna sneak a bite.
Awww.... such a cute puppy... so obedient. Boris you're so cute... mwaah!!! 😘🤗
Great job giving Boris clear and consistent direction. Beagles, like all dogs, love direction so they know what to do. There are times for play and there are times for training and good behavior. I have a beagle and it's hard not to give in to their puppy dog eyes.
