Great video man. Come on guys give this guy a little love and subscribe to his channel. He is one of a very few that is putting out great ZR2 content and he works very hard at it. Love the second and third generation Colorado content mix
I subscribed! I think this is amazing content. I have the second gen Colorado zr2 v6 and am starting to mod it into an overlander little by little. I live in St George Utah, so right by all this beautiful land that you had shot in. I think the music and videos are super artistic, looking forward to seeing what you keep producing 👏🏼
Awesome video! If possible sometime, could you create a short showing the taillights lit up when braking, turn signals on, and reverse lights on? Thanks man.
Dji air3, 3S, or mavic 4(when it drops) would be good addition for you. That 70mm adds just enough compression to pull the mountains in the background closer to the subject.
@@outlandishoverland Gotcha, yeah same focal length combo. Beautiful scenery either way. If terrain permits a tighter follow, closer to the subject will increase the background effect too. Sorry, in no way am I knocking your video. It's awesome.
@@outlandishoverland Jeven Dovey, who does some videography gear reviews and guides here on youtube has a really good shot sequence video. You'll sometimes see him in the background overlanding with some of the other overlanding channels.
looks like the trails a lot cleaner than when I went through it in April earlier this year, couldn't take anything that wasn't lifted at least 3 inches and on 33s cause of the erosion
I went through it in March and it wasn't that bad. The water was pretty low too. But we took the whole roudy trail to the falls and back from the south.
Thank you! I have just under 17k miles right now and I have a 10k mile review on the channel that goes over all the pros, cons, and few issues I've had with the truck. ua-cam.com/video/hnr7Jg6fj-M/v-deo.htmlsi=WEiPaDbQWNY7hxTL
You are referring to Rattlesnake Gulch and no we did not, we only took a part of the trail before the escape. That trail has some very large rocks and some deep areas of water that look deceiving and swallow Jeeps (plenty of videos on Matt's Recovery). We didn't want that risk as Richard right after this trip did head back home to Atlanta, GA and wanted his rig in one piece. We plan to go back once I upgrade my skids and bumpers though.
The bison flares are the exact same set up they are just wider but they connect inside the fender flare the exact same way. The issue is the aggressive offset of the wheels causing it.
@@outlandishoverland Oh, I thought their was cutting involved by the looks of Peak Suspension's at4x overland build, giving the truck an inch or so more than standard clearance.
@@jaredmeche6325 Most likely I would assume they cut it. I have an inch lift in the front and still get the rubbing. It doesn't bother me much as my flare is still holding on after all these trips. 🤣

Thank you! One of my favorite outros that I've made so far!
Great video! Really appreciate that you write the coordinates of your adventures!👍👍
Thank you. I like sharing the destinations with everyone to maybe inspire someone to get out there and do these trails for themselves.

Thank you!
Those amber DRLs really changes the look of the ZR2's front end!
Great footage all around BTW! That ending tho... Can't wait till the next episode! Keep up the great work.
They really do change the front end of the ZR2. They will be out soon enough in 2025!
Thanks! I was so stoked how the ending teaser came out! It's my favorite one to date!
Love your videos. Found the channel looking for Info on the ZR2. Ill be grabbing mine soon, once we move to Tennessee
Nice! Welcome to the channel. You are going to love the ZR2, it's an awesome truck

Thank you. I actually go over this at the very beginning of my SEMA video!

Awesome episode. Be so cool to come wheeling/camping with you some time. Ever get close to Wyoming, hit me up.
Thank you. Will do, Wyoming is on the list to do next year.
@outlandishoverland very cool !!!I wanna check out the exo

I have the DJI Air 3 which I believe has the same lenses as the Air 3S in which I used the 70mm lens the mountains were just that far lol

Thanks for watching!
Great video. How do you like your Harker vs your buddies Alu-Cab?
Thank you! I love my Harker and they are very similar but you can't beat the Harker for being half the weight and half the cost!
Did you do the flow tie and recovery hook yourself?
Yes I did. Took them off and painted them myself.
looks like the trails a lot cleaner than when I went through it in April earlier this year, couldn't take anything that wasn't lifted at least 3 inches and on 33s cause of the erosion
Oh wow. Well that's good to hear they cleared out the trails

I want one of these badboy… patience I guess
Patience is key to success!
What brand of rock sliders are on each vehicle?
The 3rd Gen are factory sliders and the 2nd Gen are custom fabricated sliders.
@ who did the customs job, I am in Utah
@ who did the custom job? I am in Utah, love to have a set for my 2dr wildtrak
Unknown, he was the second owner. All he knows is they are custom. He also lives in Georgia.
You guys must not have taken the trail that keeps going around by the falls. Where you cross the water crossings like 100 times? You missed out 😅

Make any new friends at SEMA that could score you some 3rd gen bison fender flares to try and get rid of the rub or try?
