It's nice to see KIM comfortable with O2 this time.
Hi Baron Pilot, I love watching your videos. What does the orange flag on your radar altimeter indicate?
I am a greenskeeper. I don’t play, but I enjoy taking care of a golf course. And I’m an aviation enthusiast too. ⛳️🛫
The television production companies have always amazed me how they can track and film a golf ball in the air from 400 yards. I’m glad you decided to share some of their talents, they are the unsung hero’s of the sport.
Chris to Kim: “Will you turn me on?” …”and the O2 as well?” LOVE IT!
You flew over my house on the west end of geneva lake! Very cool!
Loved it. Thanks for showing your work. Looks like a Space Command center.👍
Thanks!
New subscriber from Australia. I've been binge watching your videos and thoroughly enjoying them. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us.
Welcome to the channel and thanks for subscribing!! Hope you are enjoying the content!
Bravo Kim on the IFR clearance…damn, she was talking fast! That weather was something…I love it when a plan comes together! And the O2 as well 😆. The taxi-assist was spot on!
The bonus footage was awesome! Thanks to all of your coworkers for being such good sports. I can't not mention the flight either. It was definitely very interesting to say the least.
Golf fan here! The only sport I watch on TV. Thanks for the added content. 👍🙌🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Nice flight, nice video. ..... Thanks for posting. 😊👍
Another cool video!! What a life you guys have - the Baron, Jets, golf - I am envious!! Keep up the great work!
Very cool, thanks!
Nice one. The Ryder cup was awesome as well.
Thank you for doing these videos. They are the real thing, start up to parking, and the highly informative and instructive piloting, weather and ATC aspects of the flight in between.
Enjoy this video, great coverage of the weather and instrument panel in usage,
Great video. Very educational.
Very cool to see the behinds the scenes view Chris. TY
My grandfather before he passed use to own image air in Bloomington Illinois (kbmi) not sure if you have ever stopped there. But it was cool to see you fly through Illinois!
Thank you for sharing
good 2 see u bk flying .......
As usual a good one watching early in the morning cheering me up a bit. Safe travels
Yeah. Liked this one. Thanks.
Good to see the hometown featured. Took a moment to figure out, but you were pretty much over (Milwaukee's) Lincoln Park as you were preparing to turn base. 26:58 St. Mary's hospital, gear down over the (main) marina. 27:45 South Shore.
Glad you enjoyed the sights!
Awesome video as always guys. When you were deviating around weather in Tennessee you were very close to where I live. I live near Lexington TN. Love watching this channel big time. I wish you guys could stop some time so that I could meet you and see the plane. Keep them videos coming and stay safe my friends.✈🛩🛫🛬😎🌞👍
Like the multi screen on takeoff and landing.
Seem like flying is less complicated than operating that board. Thanks for the content. Fly Safe Sir.
I think you’re right, but the stakes aren’t quite as high.
Another busy flight. SIC you make a great First Officer! nice job for real! Always pick up interesting tidbits watching your videos Kris Very helpful for sure. Thank you!
Very cool watching you FLY the "Behind the Scenes" TV controls too lots and lots of buttons to push. Probably a few vectors around the gallery spectators as well I bet.
Good thinking ahead, Kim
When I lived in Wisconsin I worked at General Mitchell for Skyway Airlines catering for Midwest and Midwest connect airlines when they were around! Love the PGA Tour I play golf myself I try to visit the Arnold Palmer Invitational every year! And you also parked at the old Skyway Hanger we flew Beech 1900s and Donier 328 jets!
Well, getting to see behind the scenes on the Ryder Cup was very cool. Nice board! And the flight was good too! As former production guy (corporate work) and golf nut I really enjoyed seeing mobiles. Thanks for the glimpse! 👍🏻👍🏻
Wow that was interesting 👍👍
So cool we've got a lot of similar backgrounds Kris! I used to do live sound re-enforcement (concerts) and broadcast feeds for telethons! Not near as heavy as you, but in the same realm! Gr8 vids man! Got all of em saved in my cloud! :)
Thank you for the video - came 'pretty' close to us. Rockford is to the east of us - live in the boonies of FRPT. Rockford is one of the fastest growing cargo hubs in the US now. Snowing on and off last couple of days. So you wouldn't like the weather here now. Take care - be safe.
Love the videos as always!!! Really enjoyed seeing your “day” job footage. I use SSL T1 and 500’s for television audio. Know all about those trucks! Blessings and Happy Thanksgiving to you both!
Was so cool and funny see you too whit the o2 on and sandwich hahahahhaha, you are so bless couple, great flight , merci beaucoup
Used to live in that area and been to that airport and golf course. glad you both came up that way was cool to see =). Hope you both had a good time in the area.
Thank you for sacrificing yourself for us😎. Do you have some of the most interesting flights good that I could live vicariously but continue to fly safe I need to see more in your future all the best Neil. Punta Gorda
Very Nice !!
I stopped at SCD on my way back from Daytona last weekend . Great airport! Thew were flying Gliders that afternoon.
I enjoyed your video.
Great video. Liked seeing at the end what u do at work. Love golf I volunteer for the RBC Canadian Open as a walking scorer up here around YYZ area 🏌️
I worked the Ryder Cup. Hole 9/18 greens….. fun time and great outcome!
Perhaps on your next trip consider Waukesha (KUES) I was based there for 15 years with my Baron. A lot less taxi and traffic to deal with. Also just south of there (KBUU) Burlington usually has the best fuel prices around. Enjoy your videos!
Hello, thank you for this beautiful walk. Cordially (LFAD)
Nice video as always guys. Always have hated those airports that take advantage of pilots. I need to put Sheboygan on that list.
Nice landing yall
Nice video, it feels different for me to watch these videos now that I have started my twin training in a Baron 58.
welcome to mke , those towers are always fun even for us locals.
I haven't seen or used the taxi routing in Foreflight. That will come in handy. They are redoing 5/23 at KFMN... AGAIN... and the taxi instructions get pretty sporty. WOW that's a lot of trailers full of a lot of technology! I had no idea it was like that.
We may have met before. My wife and I worked for "Hole In One Sports Catering" for 14 years after retiring. We worked PGA, LPGA and Champions tours as VIP, bartending and concession stands . We traveled in our motorhome between events >
Nice mustache Kim! :-)
Passed over Wilsonville Steam Plant just north of Sylacauga :-)
If you come out to California in January 2022, to Torrey Pines for "The Farmers Insurance Open" I will be there everyday of the tournament, and 3-4 days prior to for set up. Give me a shout, Lunch on me! Always a great video! Thanks for taking us along!
nice flight ;)
Raising the bar on these videos BP, nice work. Kim, great job on ADM recognizing the need and getting that oxygen flowing early. Still think you two need to ditch those over the ear cannulas and get a couple boom cannulas. Much more comfortable.
Super vol tank you vidéo magnifique bravo
WOW! More screens than NASA mission control. Had no idea the sports presentation efforts were so complex.
Been watching you fly for like 3 years now??? Few months in you said you did PGA and I was like awesome!!! I play, amateur, but love the game, but the channel was about flying so I never said anything about golf. Love your flying!!! But I did want to know about your works with the PGA!!! LOVED THIS VID!!! Flying high both of ya realized O2! A+!!! No last time episode. 👍 So!!! You sit at the Sound Master Board???????? And FYI, I watched the Cup and thought the sound was A freaking plus! How many tourments have I watched that you Mastered???? Awesome!!! 👍👍👍
great video... @17:52 you dont wanna have the fish!
Those MOAs are likely cold with the weather coming in. You can go through a MOA while IFR if cleared.
Wow didn't know that airport would screw a piston plane that bad. Loved watching that tournament, especially at Whistling Straights which always puts on a show. The Euro's must have left shell shocked. Great to see you working too. However I am surprised your wouldn't be wearing a headset at the mixing board of all places. What's up with that? Has to be fun job for the big ones like this one was. Looking forward to the next video!
I know clearance to film business and"work" content can be difficult and limiting but it'd be cool to see more of that where possible. Might help paint the greater picture outside 75w. Great video as always
Welcome to my neck of the woods..did u look into other airports other than Milwaukee like Zimmerman, Waukesha, or West Bend...Sheboygan gouging is not new...Did u see the summerfest grounds ..music festival end of June...you both would enjoy...what hotel u stay at during visit? Not long ago Max flew into waukesha repositioning plane during EAA..due to weather..one the favorite airports in area..
Watch out for that Ready Freddie dude!
I also hear he’s Fast.😉
Would love to see more detail about your day job if you can. Find audio very interesting, way more than video (I worked for NPR before retirement in the sat technical side).
I've been watching your channel the last few years now and this is the furthest north I've seen you land. Welcome to God's country!
BP, what exactly do you do in the truck. Produce, Direct, etc. really enjoy the coverage NBC Provides on golf. Before I retired I was blessed to be able to play great golf courses TPC Jacksonville, Spyglass, Pebble Beach etc. Today I fly gliders which I truly enjoy. The two of you stay safe.
Love your bracelet!! Mind sharing what it is?! I may need one 😉
G,day Chris and Kim from Sydney, Australia.
Hope you are both well: nice flight between two large clouds.
Airbourne weather radar on the Beechcraft Baron.
Is it controlled in angle by the gyroscope or has it been upgraded?
🌏🇭🇲
When I go to Road America I always try to eat dinner at Tratroria Stefano in Sheboygan at least once.
👍☑️Tks Kris & Kim
I know it’s been a while since this video came out and it now 2022 but finally got round to comment. I spent most of my working life around OB trucks but not in them. At the other end of the cables behind a camera. Took me back seeing the inside again though. My demise was covering a horse race on a hydraulic platform. It was a different company who supplied it than the usual because the broadcaster wanted two cameras. Our channel and another different channel. The driver didn’t put Jack plates under the jacks and.never accounted for an extra camera, operator and associate cable weight. Because of this and high wind the platform overturned killing the other operator and leaving me with life changing injuries.
If you fly back through KDVN /KMLI. Please let me know. I would live to meet you both
I wish I had that feature on ForeFlight! But that’s the only feature I’d use on the top tier, so it’s not worth it for me
Sensacional
Thank you Kris and Kim for this Trip stay safe
Not going down, descending is correct. 😉👍
I got so much out of this video (again), thanks! BTW, while our little rented DA40's (nevermind DA20's) don't have radar, when I "upgraded" to an iPad Mini with Foreflight so I could get reliable Bluetooth connectivity to the onboard avionics, I turned my Galaxy Tab A with Garmin Pilot over to my wife, and got a Garmin GDL 52 for it, which work quite well and have SiriusXM for weather (as well as ADS-B so she also sees traffic). She's not really yet "into" bringing up weather and such (besides, we generally avoid flying in weather that'd make that especially valuable, as I'm still VFR-only); but on a solo flight or two, I've used both tablets and appreciated having the slightly-more-advanced weather product on the (missing) copilot's tablet. And it's good to have backup anyway, in case we lose the plane's avionics (or my iPad). Having said that, it's kinda spooky when a "nearby" plane appears on one tablet and not the other; or, worse yet, on both, and it should be visible, but we can't acquire it visually, as happened once last week when we did a KWDRKLUK roundtrip.
What is the ceiling for 75W? I have my SEL license but it’s been a while since I’ve flown. It’s great to tag along with you.
👏👏👏
Glade to see both of you using o2…. O2 is your friend at altitude… take no chances…
Did y’all go by the blue bell plant?
Now I have just one question, Do you Golf? not sure if I caught that. Flying, fishing and golfing, sometimes all 3 in the same day.
Kim, are you wearing the Randolph aviator sunglasses ?
I understand the frustration Kris with the Event Fee, but also understand where the FBO is coming from. It's not just about the money. I worked the Austin F1 race this year for my company. Even with the event fee (which we weren't charging the same rate to pistons as jets, so not defending Sheboygan for that), our ramp was more than full. We were lucky that our biggest problem was that ATC decided to shutdown all westbound departures after we had nearly 20 aircraft lined up trying to taxi out from our only entrance & exit from the ramp, meaning we couldn't allow any more airplanes onto the ramp. But when you have literally hundreds of aircraft trying to use your ramp and only space for about half of them and you're paying to bring in 2 - 3 times your normal number of employees to provide enough manpower (and even then we were still short) plus pay for their meals, airfare/rental/both, and hotel for the event, if you're not charging some sort of event fee, you're just loosing money because no amount of fuel sales will fully offset that massive increase in overhead for 2-3 days.
But $1,200 per plane? Sorry but you're not selling me on that not being a huge profit margin.
@JC1028 Like I said, I'm not defending their pricing. I don't know what their motivations were or why they decided on that number. Remember, those fees sometimes are SUPPOSED to be off-putting to discourage some traffic and maybe not completely flood the ramp. Kind of like a lot of Class B airports have either high landing fees for GA or stupid high 100LL prices. They want to discourage that traffic, so they make it where only those that really need and want to go there will. I know our price for F1 was not that high nor did we charge the same for light jets and piston traffic that we did for the big Gulfstreams and Globals.
"ready Freddy" usually went along with "Starvin' Marvin"...lol. Kim, I want a long sleeved NASA tee...all mine are short sleeved. Question Kim, what were your O2 sats when you started getting groggy? Just asking, I have asthma and I start to feel it at about 94%...thanks!
How long does it take for the average wake to clear from a larger jet?
I'm gonna ask you a question is that the or not radar the thing in the green? Is that that it will rain that you're running ninto? That's why I'd like to know if you're running to raise that degree on a radar
Good video where i can buy the phone holder kim have with everything thanks
Thanks for calling out FBOs that disrespect GA! SBM is dead to me!
Greetings from the Cayman Islands, I enjoy your videos, come visit us sometime.
Nothing like dodging WX to make a flight interesting. Nice job and ATC.
Considered golf, but got tired of whispering.
You could watch the Sporty's vids if you wired a VCR into your Avidyne.
Doesn't your new equipment have a virtual suction cup?
26:19 See? This is why you need a Super King Air 350.
Don't skip around saying Sylacauga. You did it right in the first video. Pronounced "Sillacogga" to locals. :)
The best part of golf for me is when I have an airhorn in my Possession
Where is that setting for taxi???
No Shrike?
0:33 You know, you really should be showing some love to both engines. Aren't you worried that the right engine isn't going to get insanely jealous and start acting up midflight?
The right side was already acting up on the ground @1:49
