Don't beat yourself about the landing. You responded quickly and appropriately to bring it all under control. If you only ever experienced 'perfect' landings, then how would you respond when things go sideways? Keep sending the videos, they are great!

Of course the weather is always nicer when the NTSB arrives ... because it'll be 3 years later! Could be an ice age by then. :D
I just got my paramotor all set up to send it ... then I hear thunder and see cumulus. The storm was moving a bit faster than expected. DRAT! It was beautiful prior to that. It's beautiful again, but everything's wet! The forces of nature don't want me up there, lol!
Great stuff Kris & Kim - good to see ya! I've been slackin' on the vids. Not enough hours in the day unfortunately. I need to make hours!! :)

Traffic patterns have planes going downwind (opposite direction). You don’t want to drift into their ‘lane’. Some airports will have skydivers with designated landing areas; you don’t want to drift into their space. Taxiways may be used by helicopters for take-off and landing…so you don’t want to drift into their ‘lanes’. At towered airports, they may say ‘fly runway heading’, which means you fly the heading…and don’t correct for drift. Always feels wrong to me not to correct for drift…

Hey Gregg to you know anyone that will ferry a couple from the Miami area after a cruise up to the Villages area like an Uber instead of doing the two airport things then the shuttle.
