If you joined at that time, you are extremely lucky to have gotten one at all. By 5 PM, there were about approximately 250 people in the line. They usually only have just 250 to 300 watches each go round. You were really lucky they didn't run out of stock. Though, it was the shortest the line had ever been.
Great unboxing and awesome macro shots! Good of you to spill the details on your experience in that long line. And I echo your sentiments on why Swatch deviously doesn’t simply cut the line, when they know exactly how many watches they’re selling. Those lazy marketing executives of theirs are lapping it up at customers’ expense, for free! Question, though, were you allowed to take bathroom or meal breaks, and the staff simply kept your place for you?
Thanks for the comment my G. Those 20 staff, the one that was responsible for my area told me straight out in English and Japanese, "If you're taking a restroom break or going to get lunch, you let us know. If you're gone more than 30 minutes, you lose your spot and have to go to the back of the line." They told everyone that.
@@GentlemanMasterclassNow that was a good call on Swatch Japan to keep order with some hard rules and enforce them, so you don’t have to rely on the “honor” of the strangers you’re in line with, when more than a few of them would be resellers looking for an opening to exploit.
Great close up view, I was interested in one, but the misalignment of the seconds hand immediately strikes me. That's a no go for me, even at this price point. Looks nice besides that though.

Very nice. I picked up the floral gold version hand. Love the watch
Gracias!!
The dedication to obtain this watch is impressive as hell 🔥
Brilliant idea! Making people stand in line for watches they know they don't have is just wrong!
I am Dutch but I think it is supposed to say Omega by Swatch
No, because it is a collaboration.
So? It is like a 4 x 6 wooden beam.
Omega by Swatch makes a lot more sense than Omega times Swatch

I noticed that. QC isn't very good it seems.
