Those are off the shelf parts from Wilwood...floor mount pedal and 4 piston caliper. The tricky part is how Tom makes a bracket to hold the caliper on the rear axle.
That's actually an easy question to answer. As a "stunt or precision driver" the single most common movie car that gets driven like this is the Crown Vic in Police trim. So it makes sense to do all this training in one. As for the rest, once you gain car control skills in a terd...moving into a high performance car just makes you that much better. Good driving skills translate to ANY vehicle!
I have a crown vic like this, a 2008, and it's fun as hell to drive. They handle awsome for a big car. Not fast stock but with proper gearing and some engine mods they can do fairly well for a big sedan.
I had a few times with a motorcycle perp approach me twice (from the blind spot of my cars in two different vehicles that I owned. And this latest time last week August 15th. I wore him down to avoid his time to attack me and pushed him into stopped traffic. Didn't damage him or his bike but scared the shit out of him. I used my 3,820lbs 95 Buick Lesabre to shield other drivers as he said he had a gun. and was willing to use it. It was a bit un nerving. And the police Department only gives me info on a walking/stalking situation. I had to do what would of cost me my freedom just to live and posibbly stop a major traffic accident and deaths in the past week if the perp had produced a weapon. I deal with cars at my work so watching stunt driving vids helps me in situation like I described.
I'm going to be shooting my own independent movies and I want to know how to: Rockford J,two wheel etc. and I was wondering if anyone reads this: do anyone have any advice on this or maybe classes on this and how much?
Good video, but I have to ask.... if a school like this is going to teach precision driving....why are they using one of the least precise cars? How does one counter steer with feel in a drift, in a car that has no steering feel whatsoever? lol Likewise with the automatic transmission, a stock Ford torque converter too, slipping power out the ass rather than the precision of a manual and having direct control of the drivetrain? Just a thought, don't think too much into it. =P
The skill of driving can be applied to any car, if you can do precise driving in these supposedly least precise cars, then you can do it in any car with the best handling. Plus those cars are the most commonly used cars in media, even today, so why wouldn't they be taught in them?
This is why I love ford crown Victoria's
A good demostration of my morning drive to work.
Lol
Same😂
love crown vics
Yes they are great cars

Oh unfortunately the crown Vic’s are getting phased out!
