your chrome pannier mount frames are missing 2 x large rubber grommets in the rear top corner this keeps the boxes firm as the clasp pulls the box on to the grommet.
Really enjoying this series. Those panniers suit it well and much much cheaper than oem. Have you played with the shaft drive yet? My old R100RS would lift the rear of the bike if you added throttle mid turn. Later paralever dialled that out😢

Those look fairly close to the BMW branded hard panniers I've seen on the older BMWs around here.
yeah the BMW panniers can be quite expensive this is the cheaper option

Needs a little machine gun ammo belt decoration or something, otherwise the boxes look too modern 😛
You just need a small rack where the pillion seat would be. Would look better than the twin seat
There is a small topbox that is ment to go there from when it was used in the police but I guess I will have to search high and low for one

Well all bikes raise the back of the bike when acceleration is applied 🤔 or maybe yours was doing too much? Feels ok on mine
@@BigPezza I’ve ridden 4 or 5 airheads and they have a strong shaft reaction. The later ones are positively boring by comparison 😂
How about turning the bolts around so that the heads are inside the panniers? As it is, the contents will snag on the bolts.
Maybe it's hard to see in the video but all the bolts are covered with rubber tops comes with the kit
