Lovely Sunday afternoon viewing, loving the BMW
It's alive!
Awesome seeing the bike in the flesh yesterday mate 🙂
well if you look closer you can see all the problems haha
@@BigPezza you'll iron them all out mate 🙂
wobbly cluster and narrow bars aside...nice bike Pezza
I just replaced the cluster case it was only held on by zipties it's alot better now
Looking really good, you will soon get used to it, and be off on your adventures.
That's the plan!
Nice bike and once sorted you will love it,I have a 1978 r80/7 and it has the high wide bars fitted and it makes the bike alot nicer to ride.
Take care.
Later on down the line I might change them but for now I kinda like the fact none of my mates want to take it for a spin due to how narrow the bars are 😅
Looking good dude!
Looks a nice machine, despite small issues (stands etc). I think I’d put wider bars on it though - surely they’ve been cut down or are non-standard? Wider bars = more room for more gadgets! Nice series, thanks. Les
they are the stock bars i was thinking of swapping over the wider ones but if the police had them like this, then i should be able to get used to them as well
Cool bike mate! Hope you found a tool tray ;) 😂
I hope so too 😘
I understand the appeal of keeping it stock, but if it improves the feel of the bike, I’d go for wider bars. Either way, it’s great that you’ve got it up and running!
Wide bars means I would have to change the clutch cable and re do the throttle cables and then re sync the carbs 😅 so I am gonna leave them for now
@@BigPezza That would be a lot of work, so I get why you're leaving them!
Great stuff young fella, good to see the bike out on the road. I would definitely put wider bars on to give better control. I am a short arse, just wonder how tall you are. ??
5.5 😅😅 so it's just about the right size for me
the joys of owning a 3D printer
yeah making brackets etc etc very handy
First time I went on a longer ride with my current bike, I saw another one, of the same model, parked in a store, I stopped at, for a meal. It's not that common bike, in these parts of the world.
haha
