Absolutely the most informative channel when it comes to Royal Enfield. I've been out of biking for a while but recently got the bug again. Test rode an interceptor and classic 350. Can't bloody decide which to go for! But can usually find any info I want about the bikes on your channel when I fail to find it anywhere else. Brilliant stuff 👍👍

Uncle Stu videos are great.Trip Machine are marvelous & I got a black suede seat & a messenger bag from Trip Machine.New Interceptor is actually the Mk3,Mk2 was 1968-70 & there was a prototype 800cc Interceptor called Mk2a in 1970 but owners Norton Villiers closed R.E down after the 800cc Interceptor was tested next to a Triumph Trident & was just as fast & owners Norton Villiers saw it as a threat to Norton Commando in American market as Americans preferred the tourqe of the R.E so shut it down.

@@ruahinesrider Just for the sake of argument Royal Enfield's website and all my paperwork shows the 2022 INT 650 in chrome is a Mark 2. I really love how the C350 looks, but since I also live in Colorado I should probably get the INT650. It's not about going fast, but altitude sucks 3% HP /1K ft = about a net 16hp bike that only goes lower the further west. If I were at lower altitude I'd get a C350 no problem, but the C350 won't make it up to the high country and I'm a little disappointed because it looks great. Maybe a FuelX Pro would help, but I just gotta pony up for more ponies to really enjoy Colorado. An INT650 is 38hp in Denver and 32 in Breckenridge.

Stuart, your youtube channel is the only one I follow. I watched an earlier video on the Bullet and I was so impressed with your passion for it that I raced out and bought one. No regrets. I also watched a video on the Interceptor and once again I went to the bike shop, test rode it and immediatley bought one. No regrets. Recently your review of the Scram impressed me very much so as I went back to my bike shop and as before, test rode it and bought that too. No regrets. I have no more room in my shed so that is that. The reason I write to you is to thank you for your beautifully presented videos. They have helped me decide what Royal Enfields to buy. I need a bigger shed! Thanks from Australia.

That was a very informative video, I did indeed order it with your discount code and I am very happy with the bag. Took it out hiking where I'd wish for padded leather straps for the shoulder, however it would usually be stuck to the motorcycle anyway and work as a backpack only for short distances usually. Thanks for showing this bag on your channel. Eventhough I ride a Honda VT600C which is more on the custom biked side rather than a British classic, the Tripmachine bags are a superb fit. Already got the tank bag, two small paniers and now the outlander. All very nicely made. With the Tripmachine boots on my feet, alltogether a very stylish ride!

Thanks Stuart, for another great informative episode. Royal Enfield, do make a pannier rack for the Classic 350, part number KXA00042 identical to the one for the Meteor, but for some reason, best known to themselves, only for the right hand side of the bike!
I've removed the rear seat from my machine , so can't use throw overs, so use a single goatskin leather pannier sourced in India.
Incidentally Just did a tally of fuel consumption last week at 620miles, and have used 6.1 (imperial) gallons 100mpg! Still nursing the engine 'til it gets to 1100miles, so no hard acceleration or speeds over 50mph., but still pretty impressive. Stay safe🏍

Working on getting a bike sorted in Thailand and I keep returning to the Classic 350 as a potential ride. As it would be my only transportation the ability to carry items is a concern. It's good to know that there are options when it comes to bags. I had been wondering if soft bags would work using the fender braces as guards and attachment points, now I know, thanks for that. I think Warro in Australia has managed to mount a set of Bullet pannier racks on a Signals 350 with little, or no modification, something worth looking into.

I’m in Nepal and loading these machines up with way more than what we should is a very common occurrence here, so much torque they barely notice, I do however feel it in the rear with the shockers bottoming out, I’m currently looking around to see what’s available locally as an upgrade but not to compromise with ride comfort when I’m riding solo.

Nice video, though I cringed to see boiling hot water poured onto freeze dried coffee granules. Especially when it was special coffee. Hope you added cold milk or a dash of cold water first. If you don't do this try it, it will avoid that bitter burned taste.

So question regarding the torque specifications for the upper bolts on the rear shocks… According to Hitchcock’s the torque on this bolt should be between 32-38Nm. However, when fitting to genuine RE canvas panniers and racks the little spacer that goes between the brackets and the grab handles leaves some disconcerting play in the handles. Without just “torqin’em down” as many have suggested does anyone have an answer as to how tight is too tight? I’m currently at around 47Nm but I can still move them but with much more force required. Just don’t want to be flailing myself around a corner and have one sheer off…bad day!
Thanks in advance for any help.

Another great video… which sparked a debate between my group, we would appreciate your input on the subject. Do you think that the red/gold stripe on the front and rear mudguards are paint or a decal?

I got a pillion replacement carrier but it didn't fit perfectly, had to use some sort of extension clips, why do you think this would be the case?

    Good day from New Delhi!
I was wondering if you ever had the opportunity to ride a "Bullet 350/500" - not the Classic but the "Bullet" (UCE) model?
The difference between the two bikes can be seen with the seat- a Classic has a separate and removable pillion rider seat whereas a Bullet has a single seat which covers both the rider and pillion seating.

What’s the top speed of classic 350? And what’s the cruising speed? Is it enough for your western roads? Isn’t it slow?

Hi Stuart. This is not related to this video but I have a question for you. I remember you review the 350 Classic Reborn and saying the suspension was hard to adjust. I have been having a 'discussion' with Hitchcock's over adjusting suspension with the added pannier rails on. Without the rails I can do it okay being careful not to scratch the paint as you mentioned. With the pannier rails I find it all but impossible to go more than one click higher. Hitchcock's say they have tried and can do it and I should expect to have to remove the rails to adjust it as it is aftermarket, like a headlight screen. I say this is ridiculous and everybody should be able to adjust suspension without removing the rails. I just wondered if you have tried? As the suspension is hard anyway, few people have probably tried to do it. I regularly carry a pillion and gear so have to adjust it on a weekly basis. I would love to know your thoughts. Thanks for reading this,. Cheers. Graeme.

WARNING! I was so impressed by your review and the chance of a discount (who doesn't love a bargain?) that I ordered two. I flinched only a little at the price, but was impressed by the quality and a £60 odd saving. I didn't even notice, as I payed, that they were shipping from India. There was a slight delay as they were out of stock but they were to be delivered yesterday. Waited in all afternoon but they were still half way round the world.
6.30am I receive a text demanding £91.69 import duty and vat. Turns out not such a bargain after all!
I post this comment not as a crtisism of anyone, but myself, more as a warning to others who may get swept away by the excitement of buying something new and shiny. Even at my ripe old age there are leasons to be learned.
Oh, and I won't be buying those nice boots from Tripmachine.

Do the straps allow for two bags to be mounted on a bike?
