My last puck is 5 star and it is same like finish 1. The ppgshopline stuff was bad to crack up like that but still weeks later. Both are 4 to 1 mix

I have used that FC740 several times....great clear.....lays down nice...very glossy.....and have never got a run using it.

About 25yrs ago, i got a little husky detail gun at the depot.
Kinda looks like a full size gun , but has a small 6oz cup.
Works great,and gives a way better finish than a color match spray can for those small bits and pieces like some mirror covers or door handles.
Spray with whatever ya want. Learn how to cut and buff. Lol. Ive sprayed with a devilbiss finishline for years. Best gun ive used for single stage was a gun from harbor freight.

Forensic puck analysis is proof in the pudding, phucking genius Billy, I use a harbor freight $9.00 hvlp I drilled the fluid nozzle out to 1.9mm for primer surfacer. You got some nice guns, I got a binks #7, binks #68, binks 2001, devilbiss jga 502, binks #26, satajet b, sata 3000rp, binks air-brush and a hand pump bug sprayer spray rig, keep it gangster billy, spray and pray 🙏

From my experience over 20 years are body tech and painter . I will not reuse my old cups. I watch a painter mess up a paint job . I watched him clean the up out painted car had chunks of clean in it wet clear. And that’s why I don’t reuse cups
I only reuse cups I just used, and only for certain things😉😉
