Georgia has multiple statutes permitting early termination but there are many (many) conditions. The most common issue we see is that individuals are not aware of when their eligibility date is, or what their options for early termination are, even when they do meet those conditions. The process begins with a petition (report) that is supposed to be submitted by the supervising officer - if they have not submitted this on your behalf and you are eligible, you should contact the office; if you aren't satisfied - get an attorney. It's worth it to try, and these types of cases are inexpensive because there aren't many hours involved. Ultimately, the Court has the discretion to grant whether or not a probated sentence even if you do check all the boxes. The state can challenge your petition if they want, but I've never seen this, even for violent offenses.
My relatives PO mentioned to him he could apply to get off of probation 5 years in, but when he asked her for her report she said it was not up to her, he tried getting an attorney but did not have enough money to hire one, it has been 8 years on a 10 year sis, but they ptr'd him with no criminal charges and added 6 years! So Can he still try to apply and be successful I wonder. And what are the chances of having and added stipulation removed?

I am currently on Felony Deferred Adjudication Probation in Tarrant County, Texas and I am hoping to free myself from this ASAP! When I do get everything lined up and file the paperwork with the courthouse, what will happen with my case? Will it be dismissed? If not can I get them Expunged? How does that part work? If some one went to a neighboring county on vacation and gets a felony charge but the judge transfers probation back to the home county but the individual a year later gets a misdemeanor in that same county what can happen ? Will they do time in their home county?
What if you had to do a program the judge recommended but your p.o bs made you start it late n now you will be be done with it 6-7 weeks after you go to court to be let off probation haven’t had no violations also has an job and it will interfere with the program will the judge still make you do the program

Her info is not correct. In l a county you would need to serve half your term with no violations. As long as all fines and fees have been paid and you have completed half of your probation term your dpo can ask the court for early termination. However if you owe restitution to a victim of the crime you committed you would have to pay this first. I was a dpo for many years and I had no problems requesting early termination on a probationer as long as they were in full compliance. It is up to the dpo of record to make this court request. Hope this helps to those of you reading this comment.
Greetings. I live in Dallas and I am currently on 15 months' probation for a first offense DWI. I have served half of my probation at this point. Is it possibly that I can apply for "non-reporting" status if all fines are paid, and classes are taken?
Miss B, great video!!😊😊. Question, I am a 2 time convicted felon for marijuana. On this case alone, I have done a year of home detention/house arrest. I've paid them almost $5,000, I have taken and successfully completed MRT/12 step program classes. I've done 125 hours of community service hours and I have done 10 months of probation on top of that. About 2 months ago I failed a screen for thc, my probation officer told me she absolutely was not going to violate me due to all my success. I have all my fees paid and about 53 days left of probation. Would it be worth trying to get off early?? Please and thank you, sorry for writing a book. Lol

I feel like if she was going to use it against me then she would have just violated me then. I go in and see her 1 time every 5 weeks, I've only been screened 2 times in 10 months. Thank you for this. I’m on informal probation for 4 years and almost 3 years in for a nonviolent drug offense. First time offense. I’ve paid all my fees in full, all my CSR hours are completed, all drug and alcohol classes are completed, no violations of the terms of my Probation, and have a stable career as well as going to college. I was wondering what your experience is for getting permission to leave the country for vacation or work. My probation is not drug or alcohol related and i have never done drugs or alcohol ever. It's the least serious crime there is. All my fines are paid and community service done. What are the chances to get permissions and would i need a court order? I need to travel for a job overseas offered. I need around 6-12 months. but i'll take anything they give me. I don't even mind flying back every 3 months if they need me to and do all the phone calls and facetime calls they need.

Miss B I have a question, hopefully you can help. So I have 2 separate charges that I am on Probation for I get off one very soon the other however is further away. I recently spoke with my PO about when I am getting off probation for the second charge she told me that it would be July of 2024 she also said that charge is a fixed date. Meaning The judge gave me 5 years of probabation and thats what I have to do. However it's just not making any sense I was released from County in June of 2020 So if the date was "Fixed" as she said then I wouldn't be able to get off until 2025 so she is contradicting herself by telling me July of 2024 I am earning good time for having a job and paying my fines. She also told me she was going to ask the judge for early termination for the second one but she doubts I'll get it granted because it is a "Fixed" date. I feel like she is lying about asking the judge and just trying to make me think she is going to bat for me when she really isn't. Is a Fixed date the same as no early termination as you stated in the video? I am just confused what should I do? Yes, but sometimes ppl can't afford an attorney. I've witnessed several defendants successfully represent themselves in an early termination hearing. 😁 The hearings are pretty straightforward usually.
I was released from probation last week . I got out of prison on march 6th 2018 . Started 5 years probation that day. Haven't gotten in any trouble . Most often that has to be paid in full b4 you can be released early. If you need an extra couple of months, you could still possibly get off at that time.

Most times they won't switch the PO unless the offender is being put in more intensive supervision. The person can choose to serve their time instead of remaining on probation.

Still apply to get off early! I've seen ppl get off with a failed UA. The Judge looks at the totality of your case, so one violation like that doesn't always stop people from getting approved
Everytime I see my probation officer she says let’s get your fees paid off in total so you can get off probation. I still have 3 years and 4 months left too. I only been on probation for 8 months tho so I don’t know if it’s even gonna be possible but im gonna ask her how that works. If she says she can get me off probation once I finish everything im gonna pay it that same day and try to get off as soon as possible cause I haven’t been totally a free man since 2016

You’d have to half your sentence I have a 5 year probation as well trust you will have to do at least 2-3 years tops before you can file for an appeal letter it also depends if you paid off all your court fees and ect

Hey question.... I'm in probation now and was recently given a piss test and my po said I was dirty, which is NOT the case!! So I had a hair follicle test done at my own expense and of course it came back negative for everything. So my question is this: can I fight their test with my test and if so could this get me off of probation early possibly?
It depends on what you tested positive for. Ultimately the decision is up to the Judge. Were your UA results confirmed by a laboratory? (The positive with the PO)
@@YourFavoritePO He tested positive for method with his po. We aren't sure if they used a lab, he peed in a cup in front of a guy, they put a red sticker on the lid and let him go about his day. This actually took place when he put in a request for a medical pass to go to Dallas to see an eye specialist. Po had him come in the day before we left, pissed him, gave him his pass, we were gone 5 days. He went to report at 8:30am the day we got back, po pissed him again. That was last Monday. She then called him on wensday and had him come back in and told him his test from the day before we left for Dallas came back positive for method, pissed him again and said if this one was hot there was gonna be a big problem. Then she let him leave. He went straight from there to a healthcare express and paid $220 for a hair follicle test, that test came back negative for everything including method. Faxed po a copy, emailed her a copy and haven't heard from her. He has to report tomorrow at 2. Kinda nervous.

Some departments call it different things. I suggest looking at the job description. In my area, whenever they say "correctional", that usually means the officer works inside the prison.
I know they are one of the same. Some stated like mine the State runs the felony probation (Dept. of Corrections) and some states they have private companies doing it.
Hello hope you are well, I have a question. I had been sentenced to 18 months probation for a misdemeanor, first time offense I have done a year of it. I had trouble at first, 2 violations one was for a positive drug test, the other was for drinking (not showing up drunk just admitted that I had drank to p.o.) while serving a 6 day quick dip In jail for the violation I was offered to go to drug court the judge ordered me to leave my home and stay at a transitional home and to complete long term program (drug court) I just graduated the program yesterday, my probation officer informed me today that he put in a petition on my behalf to either terminate probation or switch to unsupervised probation. My question is, when you get switched to unsupervised probation do you still have conditions of probation. I am asking because the judge was not clear on me being able to go home once the program ended. I am hoping I can at least get that condition taken off if he doesn't terminate it because I have met all my conditions and have paid all fines. How likely am I to get terminated since I did have those two violations ? Will the judge be able to remove the stipulation if I do not get it terminated. Sorry for writing a book. Yes, the can can remove that condition of probation. With unsupervised, the conditions of probation remain the same. Since your PO put in for ET, the judge is more likely to agree and let you off from my experience.

I'm in Indiana. Got hit on a 922(g) and sentenced to 84 months with 3 years of supervision. Trump got the reform through and got me 6 months halfway house at the end. Jumped through all their hoops and got back to my town to do the house arrest part at family home, during the start of the pandemic. During that time I got my own place again with a mortgage. Since I've been out I've been rebuilding my life and all the materialistic crap I lost. Once house arrest time was up I started my federal supervision July of 2020. Today this is almost April 2022. I have filed once a few months back to get off the paper. Been employed full time since release, no issues at all. maintain my own home and keep all the bills paid. Got a couple vehicles on top of that. Basically doing better than most around here, but am just going through the motions. PO is cool with my being cut off supervision, but the new US AG I have never met really sandbagged me in his response. Judge denied my petition for release. Filing again but requesting a hearing to discuss any and concerns from all deciding parties. Hoping for the best this time around. Really starting to have issues financially trying to keep ends met in Biden's America. Wanting to seek out more beneficial employment opportunities outside my district, visit with remote family and friends, and basically see a bit of the country without shackles on. Really hoping to get some love this time around.

Unlikely Cambodia will even accept you into their country. If it's a repeat offense i highly doubt you'll get early release. Never hurts to try. Good luck

Hey! It's very common for POs to change. Typically those on probation won't be notified until they show up for their visit because it happens so frequently. Don't worry, you will be fine.
I'm from ellis county .south of dallas and on a 4 year deferred adjudication probation for felony marijuana possession and I'm at the halfway point this November 1st and will be petitioning the court for early termination. I've paid EVERYTHING OFF as well as done all of my classes required the first 10 months of my probation and passed all of my UA's . My lawyer said that since I have a full time job and have had this job full time during the past 2 years that I don't have to do my community service required .do you think this will be a problem when I go to court.? What are my chances? I've even asked for a UA the other day to my p.o just because I haven't had one in 6 months (which left him stunned...he said he's never had someone ask for a u.a ) but I thought it would look good on paper to have a recent one that I passed .
Definitely need a recent UA.... I'm not familiar with Ellis county, but typically the court wants ALL conditions of Probation completed b4 early release. Since your attorney told you it's ok, he may know the Judge and be more familiar with ET in that county. Best of luck 😁

You are offered a job out of town and probation is preventing you from being able to travel. You are applying for a new job but they require you to be done with probation B4 starting. You are trying to buy a house, but they don't allow ppl on probation to be approved for the loan. **Just examples"**

In Texas for that probation you can get off after doing 2/3rds of your time I’m sure if you get a good attorney you can get off early. What I do is go in the court room and find out who is friends with the judge by who talks to the judge quietly in between cases and that’s the guy you want for your judge. I got 2 year probation and failed 5 straight drug tests than went on the run for 2 years got caught they put me back on probation cause of the lawyer I had I failed again they told me to come in and I went on the run for 2 more years and got caught and caught two more felony charges we had a replacement judge the day I got sentanced and he sentanced me to jail time plus 4 years probation when I got out and than when my judge came back my lawyer went In and got a reconsideration from that judge and now I’m just on probation for thr 4 years no jail time. All cause I had the judges good friend that goes out with the judge and does things with her outside of court
Yes👌🏾 in my opinion. Just continue to do well, and tell your PO your desire for ET at every appointment to make sure you are on track. If u don't say anything, it won't be on his/her mind.
Most likely not.. judge almost always does what your PO wants.. my judge wanted me to find a new job but my PO said she was fine with my job bc I’m a baby sitter and it works for our child care.. judge didn’t say nothing and allowed it. It’s normally up to your probation officer.

It depends on your charges. If they are drug related the PO likely could test you. If they are petty misdemeanors like I had involving harassment and terroristic threats of a idiot neighbor, they probably wont piss test you. Also it all depends on how you conduct yourself. Half the time I go to probation people think I am the PO since I deliberately dress and act that way and I look like a cop because of my appearance. Use it to your advantage and do not show up to see PO wearing WuTang gear reeking like a blunt. If you come off as an adult living your life who is inconvenienced by this probation crap they seem to leave you alone more.
I was placed on probation for five years I’ve not had any violations I have done four years and three months out of five years I’ve had no trouble with the law I had a $5000 fine and I’m paying that I already paid all the restitution in court cost the judge issued me to pay a $5000 fine. I talked to the probation officer. She told me to pay off that fine and she would go in forearly release do you think they are gonna let me off of Probation? I was on probation in three different states Illinois, Missouri and Nebraska. I’ve been done with Illinois for a year and a half. I’ve been done with Missouri for a year and now like I said, I have like eight months of probation in Nebraska left out of five years, but I spoke with my officer in Nebraska because I live in Missouri they just transferred my Probation but she said to pay that $5000 fine and she will go in and see what she can do. They legalized weed in Virginia early this year, every person I know on probation smokes and says that their PO doesn’t say anything about it, one girl even said that her PO told her that she is supposed to refrain for it, however they don’t test anyone for it and they aren’t supposed to tell them that. I have 3 years probation and am 8 and a half months completed with every test clean so far, I’m scared to ask my PO if I can smoke because I think he is about to put me on unsupervised any day now and I might as well just wait. I even tried to ask my PO for test results and he said that they don’t disclose results to the public, only the courts or me if I fail so there is no way for me to really know if they test for it or not. I just really need to smoke for my mental health and for personal reasons, any thoughts on this?

My fiancé finished all his classes but failed two polygraph test (it was with the person that always fails him though) as soon as he goes to another polygrapher he passes and I know he isn’t doing anything wrong. But because of that and they are saying he does whatever he wants because he proposed to me (even though we are having a baby and we told them that), they want to put him back into classes. We were about to try to get him off early and now we feel defeated and like it’s taking us backwards. Any advice? We really try to keep a good relationship with the PO but no matter what I feel they are always looking for the smallest things to hold it back.

Georgia has multiple statutes permitting early termination but there are many (many) conditions. The most common issue we see is that individuals are not aware of when their eligibility date is, or what their options for early termination are, even when they do meet those conditions. The process begins with a petition (report) that is supposed to be submitted by the supervising officer - if they have not submitted this on your behalf and you are eligible, you should contact the office; if you aren't satisfied - get an attorney. It's worth it to try, and these types of cases are inexpensive because there aren't many hours involved. Ultimately, the Court has the discretion to grant whether or not a probated sentence even if you do check all the boxes. The state can challenge your petition if they want, but I've never seen this, even for violent offenses.

My relatives PO mentioned to him he could apply to get off of probation 5 years in, but when he asked her for her report she said it was not up to her, he tried getting an attorney but did not have enough money to hire one, it has been 8 years on a 10 year sis, but they ptr'd him with no criminal charges and added 6 years! If some one went to a neighboring county on vacation and gets a felony charge but the judge transfers probation back to the home county but the individual a year later gets a misdemeanor in that same county what can happen ? Will they do time in their home county?

I have, and it sucks so bad. Unfortunately as a PO, there is nothing that can be done to change the circumstances. Empathy is key in those situations.

Yes, possibly. The judge will still make you do the program. The judge may reset your court date to after you finish the program.

sometimes the. judge will reduce them, you just have to. have a good reason like medical issues and. you can’t work.
Her info is not correct. In l a county you would need to serve half your term with no violations. As long as all fines and fees have been paid and you have completed half of your probation term your dpo can ask the court for early termination. However if you owe restitution to a victim of the crime you committed you would have to pay this first. I was a dpo for many years and I had no problems requesting early termination on a probationer as long as they were in full compliance. It is up to the dpo of record to make this court request. Hope this helps to those of you reading this comment.

I've paid them almost $5,000, I have taken and successfully completed MRT/12 step program classes. I've done 125 hours of community service hours and I have done 10 months of probation on top of that. About 2 months ago I failed a screen for thc, my probation officer told me she absolutely was not going to violate me due to all my success. I have all my fees paid and about 53 days left of probation. Would it be worth trying to get off early?? Please and thank you, sorry for writing a book. Lol

Thank you for this. I’m on informal probation for 4 years and almost 3 years in for a nonviolent drug offense. First time offense. I’ve paid all my fees in full, all my CSR hours are completed, all drug and alcohol classes are completed, no violations of the terms of my Probation, and have a stable career as well as going to college. I’m really hoping Denton County let’s me off. I did not know I could fill out a form myself. My lawyer is trying to charge me $1,800. Yikes! I was wondering what your experience is for getting permission to leave the country for vacation or work. My probation is not drug or alcohol related and i have never done drugs or alcohol ever. It's the least serious crime there is. All my fines are paid and community service done. What are the chances to get permissions and would i need a court order? Miss B I have a question, hopefully you can help. So I have 2 separate charges that I am on Probation for I get off one very soon the other however is further away. I recently spoke with my PO about when I am getting off probation for the second charge she told me that it would be July of 2024 she also said that charge is a fixed date. Meaning The judge gave me 5 years of probabation and thats what I have to do. However it's just not making any sense I was released from County in June of 2020 So if the date was "Fixed" as she said then I wouldn't be able to get off until 2025 so she is contradicting herself by telling me July of 2024 I am earning good time for having a job and paying my fines. She also told me she was going to ask the judge for early termination for the second one but she doubts I'll get it granted because it is a "Fixed" date. I feel like she is lying about asking the judge and just trying to make me think she is going to bat for me when she really isn't. Yes, but sometimes ppl can't afford an attorney. I've witnessed several defendants successfully represent themselves in an early termination hearing. 😁 The hearings are pretty straightforward usually.

Most often that has to be paid in full b4 you can be released early. If you need an extra couple of months, you could still possibly get off at that time.

Most times they won't switch the PO unless the offender is being put in more intensive supervision. The person can choose to serve their time instead of remaining on probation.

Still apply to get off early! I've seen ppl get off with a failed UA. The Judge looks at the totality of your case, so one violation like that doesn't always stop people from getting approved
Everytime I see my probation officer she says let’s get your fees paid off in total so you can get off probation. I still have 3 years and 4 months left too. I only been on probation for 8 months tho so I don’t know if it’s even gonna be possible but im gonna ask her how that works. If she says she can get me off probation once I finish everything im gonna pay it that same day and try to get off as soon as possible cause I haven’t been totally a free man since 2016

Hey question.... I'm in probation now and was recently given a piss test and my po said I was dirty, which is NOT the case!! So I had a hair follicle test done at my own expense and of course it came back negative for everything. So my question is this: can I fight their test with my test and if so could this get me off of probation early possibly?
It depends on what you tested positive for. Ultimately the decision is up to the Judge. Were your UA results confirmed by a laboratory? (The positive with the PO)
@@YourFavoritePO He tested positive for method with his po. We aren't sure if they used a lab, he peed in a cup in front of a guy, they put a red sticker on the lid and let him go about his day. This actually took place when he put in a request for a medical pass to go to Dallas to see an eye specialist. Po had him come in the day before we left, pissed him, gave him his pass, we were gone 5 days. He went to report at 8:30am the day we got back, po pissed him again. That was last Monday. She then called him on wensday and had him come back in and told him his test from the day before we left for Dallas came back positive for method, pissed him again and said if this one was hot there was gonna be a big problem. Then she let him leave. He went straight from there to a healthcare express and paid $220 for a hair follicle test, that test came back negative for everything including method. Faxed po a copy, emailed her a copy and haven't heard from her. He has to report tomorrow at 2. Kinda nervous.

Some departments call it different things. I suggest looking at the job description. In my area, whenever they say "correctional", that usually means the officer works inside the prison.
I know they are one of the same. Some stated like mine the State runs the felony probation (Dept. of Corrections) and some states they have private companies doing it.

I had been sentenced to 18 months probation for a misdemeanor, first time offense I have done a year of it. I had trouble at first, 2 violations one was for a positive drug test, the other was for drinking (not showing up drunk just admitted that I had drank to p.o.) while serving a 6 day quick dip In jail for the violation I was offered to go to drug court the judge ordered me to leave my home and stay at a transitional home and to complete long term program (drug court) I just graduated the program yesterday, my probation officer informed me today that he put in a petition on my behalf to either terminate probation or switch to unsupervised probation. My question is, when you get switched to unsupervised probation do you still have conditions of probation. I am asking because the judge was not clear on me being able to go home once the program ended. I am hoping I can at least get that condition taken off if he doesn't terminate it because I have met all my conditions and have paid all fines. How likely am I to get terminated since I did have those two violations ? Will the judge be able to remove the stipulation if I do not get it terminated.

Yes, the can can remove that condition of probation. With unsupervised, the conditions of probation remain the same. Since your PO put in for ET, the judge is more likely to agree and let you off from my experience.

I'm in Indiana. Got hit on a 922(g) and sentenced to 84 months with 3 years of supervision. Trump got the reform through and got me 6 months halfway house at the end. Jumped through all their hoops and got back to my town to do the house arrest part at family home, during the start of the pandemic. During that time I got my own place again with a mortgage. Since I've been out I've been rebuilding my life and all the materialistic crap I lost.
Once house arrest time was up I started my federal supervision July of 2020. Today this is almost April 2022. I have filed once a few months back to get off the paper. Been employed full time since release, no issues at all. maintain my own home and keep all the bills paid. Got a couple vehicles on top of that. Basically doing better than most around here, but am just going through the motions.
PO is cool with my being cut off supervision, but the new US AG I have never met really sandbagged me in his response. Judge denied my petition for release. Filing again but requesting a hearing to discuss any and concerns from all deciding parties. Hoping for the best this time around. Really starting to have issues financially trying to keep ends met in Biden's America. Wanting to seek out more beneficial employment opportunities outside my district, visit with remote family and friends, and basically see a bit of the country without shackles on. Really hoping to get some love this time around.

What is the likelihood of early termination if the time period is a small amount of time before half time.
It's highly unlikely from my experience, but not impossible.
Would u consider Police officers constantly stopping you walking or driving just cause I'm probation a form of harassment and something I can take to court?
I would not. If you’d want to get off probation early absolutely DO NOT attempt this.

Unlikely Cambodia will even accept you into their country. If it's a repeat offense i highly doubt you'll get early release. Never hurts to try. Good luck
Hey miss B I just did 18 years and been out 9 months I'm on prole and probation and I had a very good po she was very understanding and work with me I did failed 1 drug test for weed and I had an appointment to day to get another test but when I went in I just find out my po was transferred to another county and was appointed another po I didn't even know what was going on but the new po give me a bad vibe maybe it's just me but I was supposed to get off my prole tomorrow but I still have an ankle bracelet till next month so my question is is this normal? And why wasn't I notified about the change? Can you brake it down for me or they on some funny stuff?thanks
Hey! It's very common for POs to change. Typically those on probation won't be notified until they show up for their visit because it happens so frequently. Don't worry, you will be fine.
I'm from ellis county .south of dallas and on a 4 year deferred adjudication probation for felony marijuana possession and I'm at the halfway point this November 1st and will be petitioning the court for early termination. I've paid EVERYTHING OFF as well as done all of my classes required the first 10 months of my probation and passed all of my UA's . My lawyer said that since I have a full time job and have had this job full time during the past 2 years that I don't have to do my community service required .do you think this will be a problem when I go to court.? What are my chances? I've even asked for a UA the other day to my p.o just because I haven't had one in 6 months (which left him stunned...he said he's never had someone ask for a u.a ) but I thought it would look good on paper to have a recent one that I passed .
Definitely need a recent UA.... I'm not familiar with Ellis county, but typically the court wants ALL conditions of Probation completed b4 early release. Since your attorney told you it's ok, he may know the Judge and be more familiar with ET in that county. Best of luck 😁

Just make sure you have a clear reason as to why you want early release, and specifically how Probation is getting in the way of that reason.

You are applying for a new job but they require you to be done with probation

In Texas for that probation you can get off after doing 2/3rds of your time I’m sure if you get a good attorney you can get off early. What I do is go in the court room and find out who is friends with the judge by who talks to the judge quietly in between cases and that’s the guy you want for your judge. I got 2 year probation and failed 5 straight drug tests than went on the run for 2 years got caught they put me back on probation cause of the lawyer I had I failed again they told me to come in and I went on the run for 2 more years and got caught and caught two more felony charges we had a replacement judge the day I got sentanced and he sentanced me to jail time plus 4 years probation when I got out and than when my judge came back my lawyer went In and got a reconsideration from that judge and now I’m just on probation for thr 4 years no jail time. All cause I had the judges good friend that goes out with the judge and does things with her outside of court

Yes👌🏾 in my opinion. Just continue to do well, and tell your PO your desire for ET at every appointment to make sure you are on track. If u don't say anything, it won't be on his/her mind.

Friend of mine is in probation now but there was no talk of paying fines yet. How can one pay fines when it can only occur after probation is over?
Once you pay restitution you should be able to pay the fines while still on probation.. they can ask their PO about this.

Most likely not.. judge almost always does what your PO wants.. my judge wanted me to find a new job but my PO said she was fine with my job bc I’m a baby sitter and it works for our child care.. judge didn’t say nothing and allowed it. It’s normally up to your probation officer.
Great advice all though the lawyer that wants to charge me 1400 dollars and said it's nearly impossible to get early release without one but I'll try it alone first

I’ve been on first offense probation for 10months now paid everything I owed first month been clean and everything they haven’t drug tested me nor came to my house since I first got on probation idk if it’s cause my charges aren’t drug or assault related I filed a motion for early termination this month the court is just waiting for my p.o to say everything is paid in full etc will they last minute drug test me or I should be in the clear ?

It depends on your charges. If they are drug related the PO likely could test you. If they are petty misdemeanors like I had involving harassment and terroristic threats of a idiot neighbor, they probably wont piss test you. Also it all depends on how you conduct yourself. Half the time I go to probation people think I am the PO since I deliberately dress and act that way and I look like a cop because of my appearance. Use it to your advantage and do not show up to see PO wearing WuTang gear reeking like a blunt. If you come off as an adult living your life who is inconvenienced by this probation crap they seem to leave you alone more.

I was placed on probation for five years I’ve not had any violations I have done four years and three months out of five years I’ve had no trouble with the law I had a $5000 fine and I’m paying that I already paid all the restitution in court cost the judge issued me to pay a $5000 fine. I talked to the probation officer. She told me to pay off that fine and she would go in forearly release do you think they are gonna let me off of Probation? I only have like eight months left and I’m paying the $5000 fine in full tomorrow morning.
I was on probation in three different states Illinois, Missouri and Nebraska. I’ve been done with Illinois for a year and a half. I’ve been done with Missouri for a year and now like I said, I have like eight months of probation in Nebraska left out of five years, but I spoke with my officer in Nebraska because I live in Missouri they just transferred my Probation but she said to pay that $5000 fine and she will go in and see what she can do. What do you think the odds are she even had Missouri send over a copy of my whatever you call it like to see if I’ve been in any trouble or anything like thatand I have not been in any trouble. No violations no drug test nothing don’t do drugs anyway.

They legalized weed in Virginia early this year, every person I know on probation smokes and says that their PO doesn’t say anything about it, one girl even said that her PO told her that she is supposed to refrain for it, however they don’t test anyone for it and they aren’t supposed to tell them that. I have 3 years probation and am 8 and a half months completed with every test clean so far, I’m scared to ask my PO if I can smoke because I think he is about to put me on unsupervised any day now and I might as well just wait. I even tried to ask my PO for test results and he said that they don’t disclose results to the public, only the courts or me if I fail so there is no way for me to really know if they test for it or not. I just really need to smoke for my mental health and for personal reasons, any thoughts on this?
I recommend asking your PO if you can smoke. He will either say yes or no. No big deal really, just ask. Ppl ask that question allll the time

My fiancé finished all his classes but failed two polygraph test (it was with the person that always fails him though) as soon as he goes to another polygrapher he passes and I know he isn’t doing anything wrong. But because of that and they are saying he does whatever he wants because he proposed to me (even though we are having a baby and we told them that), they want to put him back into classes. We were about to try to get him off early and now we feel defeated and like it’s taking us backwards. Any advice? We really try to keep a good relationship with the PO but no matter what I feel they are always looking for the smallest things to hold it back.
What kind of classes?
I’ve never even heard of them using polygraphs during probation.. that’s kinda crazy. They can’t even be that reliables
